  1. I mean, the game definitely has some glitches. I think it's pretty easy to discern between the intentional and unintentional ones. Haven't run into any yet that actually affect gameplay but, I've definitely seen some weird stuff like character's mouths not moving when they talk or cutscenes not rendering complete textures... or missing textures entirely. It's strange.
  2. You'd probably be surprised how much coverage of this game I managed to miss. I'm going in pretty cold Which led to some mild shock when I saw some of the options here on the character select...
  3. Wait... I thought you had to play as the generic white guy on the cover. This just got a lot more hype
  4. Waiting for it to patch. I heard there was a 40 gig day 1 patch but it says it only has to download 5 more gigs, which for some reason is taking almost an hour. Think the Steam servers are getting fucked pretty hard right now....
  5. Can't think of a better person for the job, other than maybe Samuel L. Jackson.
  6. I'm having an insanely good time playing Battlefront 2 on PC. It's $10 on Steam right now for the complete edition, so I figured why not. It goes without saying probably but this game looks like night and day versus the console version. It's unbelievably good looking. I mean sometimes I'll just stop dead in the middle of a battlefield just to watch everything that's going on around you. The sound design, environmental designs, and just overall detail is truly absurd. It seems like years later this game has finally shaped up into something really great. This is pretty much everything I wanted in another Battlefront iteration. The sense of scale, the fangirl level of detail and the constant sense of chaos surrounding you really gets me engaged in a way I never seemed to be with the Battlefield games. I like Battlefield as much as the next guy, but to me it always feels like you're playing as a drop of water in an ocean of other players. Almost like the match would play out a certain way regardless of whether or not you were involved. Battlefront is cool because it's much more arcadey than something like Battlefield. Enemies usually stand out in stark contrast to the map itself, engagements usually have more back and forth since you have relatively large pools of health and varying types of lasers..... Oh, and you have lasers that actually feel pretty damn good to fire. I don't think I've gotten a more accurate and satisfying answer to what it must feel like shooting guns in the Star Wars universe. You can also play as fuckin Darth Maul or Kylo Ren if you shit on dudes hard enough, so I mean, nuff said there. The hero system is actually balanced now too. I dunno man, they really turned this thing around. Game was hot garbage at release, as it was riddled with bugs, micro-transactions, pay to win bullshit and very little content. 2 or so years later and all those issues seem to be gone and a pretty sweet amount of content from all generations of Star Wars is in the game for free. They could've easily launched the game with half of the features it has now, and it would've been a solid $60 title instead of an overpriced tragedy. In its current state, it's easily worth 30 or 40 bucks, and it's only $10. 👍
  7. Everyone on my friends list waited to pre order till 5 days or less before release...can't blame em' either. Game is supposed to drop in an hour on Steam and I still don't believe it. 🤣
  8. Sounds like you want me to post more Vtuber highlights as I find them, I'll be extra certain to keep you personally updated now 👍
  9. Anthem was looking rough from the beggining. Some of their most important team members left during development (their lead story writer died during production too IIRC), the game was constantly delayed and it was a live service multiplayer looter shooter being developed by guys who had primarily made story driven, single player games before. Everything about Anthem was a recipe for disaster and I honestly would've been more surprised had it come out as an actual, fully fledged and functioning product. 🤣 I really have no reason to believe Cyberpunk won't be a great game, I think that's why the hype for it is so unanimous. Of course nothing can live up to some people's expectations tho, especially when the carrot has been sitting at the end of the stick for this many years.
  10. Mostly because of CD Projekt Red's pedigree with the Witcher series and how great that has turned out. It's also been in the works for what, like 10 literal years or more? I feel like I've been hearing about this game since the PS360 era lol.
  11. 2 days before Cyberpunk drops and I still don't really believe it. 🤔
  12. Honestly , even after the stuff they revealed with Kazumi, most of the dumb shit happening in Tekken is still due to Mishima pettiness. Heihachi literally shot his grandson in the head and awakened his Devil gene, after already throwing his son down a mountainside and causing Kazuya to pretty much become an evil dictator in the process. Jin in turn has to start a war with the entire world so he can ATTEMPT to rid the world of the devil gene and still fails. Then Kazumi herself asking Akuma to start random beef with all the Mishimas... Jinpachi rising from the ashes just to threaten the whole world with utter destruction... Kazumi is hardly the reason for this lineage of petty. 🤣
  13. I love that Smashers think hashtags are gonna change the mind of or hurt Nintendo: a multi billion dollar company. 🤣 Really goes to show the disconnect a lot of young people have with reality. Smashers fit right in on Twitter because it's the only place they can shout into the void and feel like they're making some kind of difference, since it can be such a huge echo chamber. I hope Nintendo keeps it up and continues sending their events to the shadow realm. These dudes are being passive agressive, whiny, entitled cunts and Nintendo seems more than willing to match that energy. 😂 I consider myself a pretty damn patient and inclusive dude, and even I just wanna see this community burn itself to the ground and go away forever at this point.
  14. I was curious too, so I looked it up. Gon is close but apparently Ryo takes the cake.
  15. Gon was actually a guest character as he came from a manga I miss Tekken 3 😞
  16. Yeah, the last guy who tried to murk a Mishima was another Mishima and he's dead now. Jin not only had an army to propegate that war, but is also a Mishima, AND has cool hair. We never stood a chance. Also, Tekken was plenty weird with the first 5 games lmao.
  17. If you are gonna spend 1000 bucks and you don't REQUIRE the portability of a laptop, spend that money on a gaming PC dude. You can easily build a powerful machine with $1000 that is more than capable of maxing out most games AND streaming. If you're ever serious about getting the parts together me or anyone else in the PC thread would be more than willing to break it down for you.
  18. Oh, I got switched over into that new case for my PC. I'm pretty happy with it. The old one was a good case, but way more bulky and heavy to carry around. It also had a plastic window instead of a real glass one like this. The customizable fans came with the case and they're actually making a pretty big difference keeping my CPU/GPU cool. 4 hours of Black Ops doesn't make my tower scalding to the touch anymore, so that's good. It's nice that I'm not stuck with the default pride parade colors for the fans. That shit has always looked pretty dumb to me. Come up with a color scheme at least, goddamn. Might make them purple so my tower looks like a Decepticon. 🤔 The case is a Corsair 220T, for anyone wondering. It's on sale at Worst Buy atm.
  19. Yeah, what he said. Saint Urban is in Shrine of Storms, Sage Freike is in Latria, Yuria is in endgame Boletaria.
  20. Transferring my PC parts into a new case today. This'll be the first time I've totally disassembled it since putting it together. Wish me luck bruvs. 😤
