  1. I have a feeling we're getting playable Damnd as a summon-character since it's an archetype we haven't had in SF.
  2. I still contend the best possible ending would have been Necalli eating weakened Bison and ascending to his super-armored-Necalli form Then after you beat him, the Necalli-form breaks apart and it's just left with regular super-Necalli with the wild hair...and he just starts speaking as Bison as Bison takes over his body because of the power of Bison's will revealing that this was what Bison wanted the entire time: he lured in Necalli by maxing out his psycho power and then got consumed to take over Necalli's body which can handle any level of power so Bison has no more need for clones. Then you fight Shin Bison Bison would be able to just cut Necalli's hair (which is already black just like Bison's regular hair.)
  3. Yup, confirmed in her max Master level interaction too where you see her wedding dress (and awesome wedding hair-do). Girl or guy, Marisa doesn't care as long as you're strong.
  4. @Darc_Requiemamazing custom work You can do a dimpled chin at least visually with some of the various decorations to put either a crease or a circle there I believe. Color appropriately to slightly darker than skin. Also yes there are glasses that you can see through in the game including getting the glasses of the girl that does the tutorials in the pink. I forgot her name because my wife keeps referring to her as "Street Fighter Strawberry Shortcake"
  5. Kairi is underrated. Very good design. Very cool character in all the ways they wanted Kage to be cool.
  6. Here's the thing... I don't think JP even tried when you fought him. I think the OC took a single attack at him and JP took a dive immediately. Remember, to the world watching JP is not a fighter and wouldn't openly use Psycho Power. So all he did was take a punch from a confused and angry competitor which just builds sympathy for JP and shows what a debacle was caused by those nasty rebels. I'm telling you, the dude is devious.
  7. I mean except the fact that he's an old drunk Chinese man? That's kind of impossible to change unless we think a revamp can include cutting his age by 2/3rds? 😄
  8. Lee is a bad choice because the common drunken master character is already an old guy in other video games so it would be just ANOTHER one of those kinds of guys and he wouldn't work well as a rival to Luke Jamie accomplishes being different from other drunken masters in games and is the right age for complimenting Luke as a character. Lee has far less character appeal. There's a reason he was dropped after 1 and never came back.
  9. Also it is literally impossible to make Guy any cooler. He's the coolest dude.
  10. Truth. I liked Kwame because he used Earth elemental (my fav) and was basically the Cyclops of the group. Good leader character.
  11. Lily I will agree with but in my friends circles of non-SF people Luke has been very popular for his fighting style, look an easy-going personality.
  12. OR Capcom World is a fair and just place where beloved cats & dogs live as long as we do 😭
  13. Damn! That's an old cat! Maybe he just always names his cat Cybele 😄 The other possibility is that they totally got played and JP ordered the augments to Bosch fully intending for him to lose it mentally. JP wanting a resistance member in the championship potentially to frame for something or manipulate is VERY appropriate for his personality...and using Psycho Power experiments is also something he's interested in and he's said he's done it only a few times before (which is more than none) which could point to him being responsible for Bosch. Or hell maybe we find out it's a mix of both. Ed is Neo-Shadaloo and working against JP...but under the direction of a benefactor...who is actually also JP because he's playing the poor lad. No matter what I am VERY intrigued. This World Tour mode really knocked it out of the park.
  14. I forget...is it confirmed that Cybele is still alive? His 'favorite cat' could be referring to a pet that has passed and maybe that is why his alt has a cane with a cat grip on it as a reminder of his beloved pet. Also yes I think there's an aspect of JP that might even be hidden from himself. He seems like he MIGHT be deluding himself to some extent...if we go with the Force analogy, Psycho Power clearly corrupts and we've seen that it will consume a user if they do not master it...so it's possible the PP is making JP increasingly evil and he keeps trying to justify it. Then again, this is a man that willingly worked for Shadaloo as their money-man so how moral could he be in the first place? I think the dude is just manipulative AF and spins webs within webs for people including verbally. Spoilers for World Tour if anyone here has yet to beat it His 'loss' in World Tour is VERY telling in that I don't think he even cared that he got beat..I don't even think it was much of a genuine battle loss for him so much as it was the sad realization that what he said was true...the fight didn't matter. JP had already won and the OC realizes that. JP flat out won. He manipulated everyone and got what he wanted. It all worked to his benefit as we see when we enroll with him as a master. I'm beginning to think we might be wrong about Ed being with JP...and they might actually be opposed to each other as remnants of Shadaloo. Bird vs Bird. One wing of Shadaloo vs the other.
  15. Not sure he was serious at all. Also just finished World Tour's story portion and WOW was not expecting that! I think this all but confirms future DLC seasons will expand the story as they go...which is awesome. I have to say, JP is the most interesting villain they've ever had in SF. Not the baddest ass. Not the most iconic. Not the most intimidating. Not even the one deserving of most spotlight. Just the most interesting. His philosophical bent and seeming contradictions in his attitude make him really really interesting. He has this detached sense from everything he does and this obvious manipulative streak to him...but in his own arcade ending (which features another costume we NEED for him) it's also clear he's maniacal in his own ways. Even his little remarks like saying that he would teach someone seeking to destroy him with his own power. Intriguing. All in all, the parallels are obvious just like I had said before...beyond even the OBVIOUS likeness & voice homage to Christopher Lee, JP is the Dooku to Bison's Palpatine. Not only was Dooku also the money-man for the Sith during the prequels (Dooku was one of the richest men in the entire galaxy with personal wealth that exceeded the combined wealth of wealthy STAR SYSTEMS) but he was also highly morally complicated with a complex worldview that was being eroded by his immersion in the darkside causing him to become increasingly bent towards evil. So...what does that mean for my boy Ed? Maybe we get to see how Dooku might have tried to train Vader if Palpatine had bit the dust. Intriguing. All in all, I will say this about world tour...it was not the huge story bonanza of events and that is a GOOD thing. We got that in SF5 and, frankly, SF5's story is atrocious. It is poorly paced, poorly delivered, poorly thought out and poorly split up between characters. SF6, on the other hand, focuses on SF's REAL strength...its CHARACTERS. Never have I found the world warriors (new and old) as likeable and interesting as they are in SF6. I have NEVER liked Blanka before...and in SF6 he's absolutely delightful and I love everything about him. Everyone in the game is OOZING personality and I just want to hang around these characters and hear their stories and see them interact with each other. Even something as simple as text messages between characters becomes so fun and, in some cases, flat-out HILARIOUS (Sincerely, Ryu) while sticking to the characters. The humor comes from the characters instead of forcing humor THROUGH the characters (Take notes post Phase 3 Marvel...) and Capcom leveraged their history and their characters history instead of hiding from it (Looking at you NRS). I've already sold FIVE friends on SF6. Four of them have not purchased an SF since 4 (or earlier). One of them has never bought an SF at all...and he bought it last night and ended up playing it for 6 hours straight. This game is a winner. Big time. Now time to start digging into making A LOT of characters. Can't wait to make tiny sumo-girl Hinako 😄
  16. Still playing through World Tour Mode and avoiding spoilers so I haven't been in the thread much over the flurry of activity but I just gotta say that Capcom has absolutely knocked it out of the park with this game. The amount of character and personality in the SF-world cast is absolutely amazing. Game even had me cracking up a lot with the text messages (Ryu in particular is hilarious) Sincerely, Ryu
  17. JP gives me vibes very similar to Kanzaki Bison who was more of a shadow-broker and manipulator as his primary nature. If pressed, he could just back it all up (which it seems JP can as well). Less Saturday morning cartoon villain and more devious villain
  18. JP is literally a media machine combined with unscrupulous 'philanthropists' He claims to want to help developing nations but really just exploits them while controlling narrative surrounding them...and in doing so creates misery and social upheaval with the pain that follows all for no reason other than to consolidate his own power. Bison used the iron fist, JP utilizes the soft power of social manipulation. He's exactly the sort of person I despise. At least Bison admits to what he is and will face people on that level. JP pretends to be benevolent when he's the worst kind of person possible. Great villain.
  19. I just wanted to make sure to throw in support for the official Luke fanclub that is building up. After reading him in the comic and seeing him in the demo now, he's an awesome character. Super likeable while still feeling like a genuine dude. What a bro.
  20. Abigails existence was taken as an act of war and America retaliated, won and annexed large chunks of Canada. I can't blame them, honestly. Guile likely lead the charge.
  21. Obviously this just means that most territory we know as Canadian IRL is actually controlled by America in the SF timeline
  22. 😄 In a discord server I'm in, someone posted a tweet in video game news channel about potential leaks on a garbage list of DLC characters for MK12...and immediately I notice @Darc_Requiemspeaking truth in a reply to it. Amazing.
