  1. I was actually bracing myself for him to come into AEW with a Lesnar look of MMA trunks and gloves LOL
  2. I don't agree this is the way to do it. I would have had a #1 contender's tournament after a GM figure or Punk himself announces that the maximum days to hold a title without defending it has expired had he has to relinquish the title.
  3. AEW is really looking like a Tony Khan product now LOL,
  4. My dad was a podiatrist. He'd like Juri's feet just because it'd be a quick job.
  5. Good news, everyone! I'm back with Freshcut and am setting up some kind of SFxT EVO exhibition for next year in the vein of the T5DR and SF4 exhibition that was there this year. Bad news, I've broken the Code of the Poverty Game, so now I must DIE! Seriously, I heard Vortex Gallery was mostly a wash unless you were anime.
  6. MJF reportedly returning just as everything is falling apart around him is perfect booking.
  7. Booty Giuliani lololol thanks @Grimmjow316
  8. I turned on AEW and it is really starting to remind me of Monday Night War TNA 1) Blood within the first couple of minutes between two midcarders with another match scheduled later in the night that you know would have blood 2) General lack of energy from Sting when he climbed out of the coffin. Buddy not looking the least bit shocked or threatened had me dying LOL 3) Overall rapid plot progression for the current storylines. I know endless rematches isn't good either but there needs to be an in-between. Punk being back should help but I don't think Punk is going to offer anything different in a match than what we've already seen. Hopefully the promos are good though.
  9. I saw people complain about HHH moving all his guys in like Hogan did when he took over TNA, but apart from the obvious like HHH's guys not being over the hill or overexposed, with so many stars hurt right now WWE needs instant credibility boosters across the card before the guys they have left get hurt, too. WWE is in a good position to do it because the veterans who are left in the upper midcard sound eager to give back and help the newcomers get shine. Miz of course is the shining example with a history of going out of his way to do that from Riley to Sandow to Logan and Ciampa.
  10. 11 years this man tried to get a salty runback, and he only got to enjoy it for a few months before being out of the game entirely. How poetic.
  11. I suspect it’s because Ace wanted to make that salty runback extra salty so he fired all the guys that fit into Nicks criteria of being on the wrong side of 30
  12. I am legit pumped by these Dexter Lumis rumors. He was my fave guy in NXT during the pandemic era and he'd be perfect for WWE TV. The freaks get over.
  13. It's a situation where they'll have to tone it down without making it going away entirely. For WWE they saved the blade jobs usually for PPVs and, on TV like once a month or twice tops to build a main event/upper midcard angle. Most of the TV-14 stuff on TV was the extramartial subterfuge. In AEW's case they bleed every week, usually with Moxley, and curse more than usual. If you can tell guys to save the juice for PPVs and stay within the "seven bad word" limit it shouldn't be too big of a change, but it's also a fanbase that flipped their shit the one time a DQ finish was called a few months back.
  14. The thing about AEW is that they get away with a lot and that might curve their demo bottom line downward. A lot of the hardcore stuff and the profanity could be made into TV-MA stuff and depending how Discovery views that it could be a big problem. Brother Love no longer has Vince to suck off of but I've also heard he came off sideways at people when he worked at TNA and MLW so who knows what kind of positive impact he has left. Could also be that it was more him getting on people's cases for how to conduct themselves for national audiences and the guys wanted to do whatever.
  15. I see it as more of Max being the wrestler/leader rather than the manager, like how Bray was for his guys.
  16. Capcom themselves said it was a Street Fighter game in the Reviewers Guide to the media. You check the scans here.
  17. Apparently he's not surrendering all of it but it should be enough to lose controlling interest. And to the shock of no one, stories of his CTE/senility fusion are pouring out.
  18. The show was paced way better than that Thunderdome show I saw but the countless commercial breaks killed it for me
