Got up this morning and started checking out Punk's stream. He's in Japan grinding SF6 ranked. He was losing to a JP while talking to chat. The JP ended up winning. With Quicksilver liked speed, the JP player left without rematching. Someone in chat: "So there are b!tch niggas over in Japan as well?"

"Yes!! This is the battle I hunger for!!" I'm guessing this is his quote when he wins with low health. Akuma sounded so excited.

That artstyle looks like a dream come true. Max commissioned Wistful to develop a new artstyle for MVCI. This is only a few days old and it's already miles ahead of the original. Imagine how good it'll look when it's finished. Max said on stream that they were going to take their time with this project. Aside from the new artstyle, they're going to change up the stages, the music, mechanics, and many other things as well. Excited.

I'm guessing Akuma's "Sacrifice yourself to the Satsui no Hado" is a line from the boss fight with Ryu. Or it might be towards the player's character in World Tour Mode. Akuma has likely given up on Ryu taking that path at this point. I wonder if Akuma is going to speak on Lily's dormant power.

I have my rank search set to worldwide, so I'm getting all types of people. I fought a Guile player from Italy. Showed up as a red bar, but felt like I was playing someone right in my city. No stutters or anything. It was hella smooth. In early SF6, we couldn't even get matched with west coast players. This would often lead to us fighting the same exact people over and over and over again. I'm so glad they widened the ranked pool.

Not gonna lie, I'm happy to put myself back into the ranked madness of SF6. I was kinda worried jumping back in because I stopped playing for months, but that rust is basically gone now. I just need to keep playing and focus on sharpening my awareness.

I'm guessing they changed Cammy's SA2 to P to prevent accidental activations when doing dive kick. Haven't had it in awhile, but it's a welcome change. AKI's changes are looking good.

Cot damn! I miss this thread and the homies. Can't wait for the Akuma quotes. His SFV quotes were underwhelming compared to his SF4 quotes, so hopefully they're much better in SF6.

From grinding LP/MR to taking pics of cats throughout Metro City. I love World Tour Mode. And my dumbass found a way to turn off the track that kept playing. I had to go to the music app and clear the game music. I've never touched the playlist ever. Now I got my World Tour themes back.

Mena is already one of the GOATs. His accomplishments are incredible.

I fukks with Benny the Butcher's music normally, but I do not need this shyt to be playing when I'm trying to make my return to World Tour Mode. I thought this was only in the Battle Hub. I want to chill in Metro City and listen to the relaxing evening theme. I hope they change this because the music in World Tour Mode is some of my fav to listen to.

With those buttons, we'll all be able to embrace the Murderface within.

Kept trying to do Cammy's Lvl3 yesterday. It would not come out at all. Then I realized the shyt is done with Punch and not Kick. Aside from that, a few mins of labbing and I feel like I wasn't away for any longer than a few days. I'mma be ready for the Akuma army when he's released.

Now just imagine how my kid self felt when I turned on the PS1 version and realized I couldn't tag out. That shyt was X-Men Vs Street Fighter: Street Fighter Edition (Rounds) You could still do Team Hyper Combos but your first character stayed in. I tried to find so many ways around it before I threw in the towel.

I loaded up the PS1 version of Alpha 3 for a quick playthrough just to see how it felt. Not gonna lie, a lot of Capcom's fighters were ass on PS1, but Alpha 3 surprisingly holds up well. Mainly if you're just looking to play around with Arcade or World Tour Mode. Now to remind myself of how bad X-Men Vs Street Fighter on PS1 was...
