  5. Since this was my 20th year on SRK , I can now reveal something. I did not join SRK to become better at fighters. M. Night Shyamalan Twist: I joined SRK to learn.... THE BLACK MAN"S SECRETS! I have learned that Black men like big booty and wearing red shorts to the gym. An efficient use of time I dare say.
  6. Matrix 5 excerpt. Neo: I've come to free you. Morpheus: What do I have to do? Neo: Take this red pill. It will restore you to your true form. *Morpheus takes red pill. His titties and booty grow to unrealistic proportions. He changes from looking like Black Manta to Fishburne* His dick and balls fall off like a Strain Vampire. Morpheus: That's better. I am now Montana. Where HD-man at? I need some menthol cigarettes and some red booty shorts. Agent Smith: What sorcery is this, Mr. Anderson? Only whites can be trannies! Goes and slaps Morpheus in a cat fight
  7. Hmm I thought Steve was just super old and in hiding somewhere.
  8. Worst 3 movies I've seen this year . IMO.... 1) Snake Eyes. - 8 years since the last film and it was significantly worse. Dude has no charisma. When you have more sympathy for Storm Shadow than SE, you know you done fucked up. 5/10 2) Venom 2: - Needs more thrills and action. Even Harrelson wasnt enough to spend money to see it. Tom Hardy and the buddy comedy element isnt enough to keep this franchise afloat. 6/10 3) Black Widow - I gave this a 7/10 , which is usually "grilled cheese", but compared to the usually consistent MCU, there were some things I didn't like a) Since BW is dead in modern MCU time, that lessened the tension. It feels like this was made bc Wonder Woman made money, and Disney execs told Feige to shit out a product. b) Taskmaster was misused. The main villain's acting was too cheesy. The guy also played "Mac" in Indy 4. Ugh c) Maybe its just me, but ScarJo being in a team picture for a while has allowed her to skate by on her acting in MCU. Here she is upstaged by Yelena, Red Guardian and the "mother" character. In the other MCU films, I only really liked her roles in Winter Soldier and Avengers1 (Loki scene and Hulk breakout). RDJ , Evans, Ruffalo seem to command the screen more imo. Even Hawkeye , someone who isnt my favorite, is more charismatic than her. I was torn between MK (2021) and BW for number 3. Maybe I have higher expectations for Marvel which explains being "hard" on it.
  9. What were your top 3 movies this year? For me ... 1) Spider-Man:No Way Home 2) Ghostbusters: Afterlife 3) No Time to Die
  10. She was offered the sister role in Shang Chi. An article I read stated she didn't want it bc it would erase her Colleen role and she didn't want to be recast as Colleen if they use her in future MCU projects. (Mahershsla Ali as Cottonmouth and Gemma Chan as ?? In Cap. Marvel went on to be hired as Blade and Sersi in later projects. ) She also stated that Matrix role doesn't come often and that is why she chose it.
  11. I'm surprised no one here has seen King's Man yet. I have a lot of family stuff this week otherwise I would have gone.
  12. My parents and I are just going to church at 12 pm and and just chilling at home today. Tomorrow, we and my other Tampa relatives are going to see my cousin's family in Sanford (2 hrs from here) to give their presents and have lunch. (We would have gone today, but my Tampa relatives are visiting someone else today so it got pushed back.) My mom made a vegetable lasagna last night which she hasnt made in a long while. I m not a big pasta/cheese guy anymore , but it is quite good. It's not a tomato sauce based recipe.

  14. That guy was on a show with David Duchovny called Californication in the late 2000's. Regarding his voice.. https://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/tv-movies/jason-beghe-tough-break-led-memorable-voice-article-1.1765027 Jason Beghe explained that he damaged his vocals considerably after removing tubes from his throat during a 1999 hospitalization following a devastating car accident. The New York Daily News elaborates that the "Chicago P.D." star was actually placed in a coma for around three-and-a-half weeks, leading him to involuntarily yank out the tubes every now and again. Doing this ultimately led to the now-iconic gravelly voice fans love so much. Beghe is lucky to have survived the accident. While he told The Daily Beast, that there was "some gravel" in his voice before the car wreck, the accident hurt his voice. "I broke my neck, my back in a couple of places, all of my ribs, both of my lungs," he said.
  15. Lil Wayne should have been Morbius. He wouldn't need any makeup. That nigga scary as hell.
  16. I just finished Hawkeye S1. I haven't read any comics so bear with me. Pros: The camaraderie between Kate and Clint was good. The car chase in Ep3 and the trick arrows. Maya character is intriguing. Seems like a character that fits in Daredevils world Cons The series is a bit too jokey sometimes and two characters reconciling in the last episode didn't have the desired impact While I'm excited to see the return of the "big man" , his actions were a bit too risky and brazen compared to previous depiction. The whole Eleanor reveal didn't work for me. I was expecting Jack to have a bigger role or more significance to the main plot. Maybe I'missing something ,but for a show called Hawkeye , we really didn't learn a lot of new stuff about him. It felt like a "passing the torch" /Kate Bishop show. We knew Clint was Ronin and killed a lot of peeps and that he has guilt over Natasha's death. I thought they would go more into his pre-Avengers stuff. It was a bit underwhelming. Overall: 7/10
  17. Well I finally got to see Spidey: NWH. I went 5 days later on a weekday at 3 pm and yet the 200 person theater was at full capacity. I usually wait 1-2 weeks for seeing movies , but was scared I would get spoiled if i waited so i bit the bullet. IMO, it's definitely the best of the "Home" trilogy. Despite the long runtime, I was on the edge of my seat. Pros: Despite being the most serious film, it was also the most funny. Tom Holland's acting. While it is generally good before, the plot and tone gave him a lot more to chew one. He really is Spider-man in this film. The relationship between MJ and Pete felt more substantial and Zendaya even brings it in some scenes. She was my least liked character in Homecoming so props. The interplay and camaraderie between 1,2,3 towards the end and the injokes were great. The emotional moments are earned and this film had the highest personal stakes. Pete grows the most in this film and while he has help from others, he is the spur for many of the actions. the brief cameo by a certain "Catholic" Cons: Sometimes the editing is a bit jarring. It feels like many of the actors are not all in the same shot and edited in to the film in an artificial manner. 2 of the villains are a little short changed in terms of screentime and their changing motivations are a bit rushed. Overall: 9/10. I havent been this excited for a live action Spidey film since Raimi's SM2. Id put it on par with that film and Spider-verse.- maybe a hair better.
