Twitter/X always has some dumb shit on it. But one thing I kept seeing previously seems to continue bear out. Japanese developers make better black characters than Western Developers. Marisa, no not that Marisa @Jocelot, has a great design in Eiyuden Chronicles. Now I'm thinking about Taion's cool design from Xenoblade 3 as well. @RSG3Xenoblade Chronicles 2 had an idea that "sounds cool on paper" but doesn't work out in practice. The Blades were created by multiple artists. In addition to some of them being meh, the artstyle was utterly inconsistent because it. You could run around in party with 4 different artstyles at the same time. 😑 Multple artists are good for variant covers or art books but not for in game assets. Side note: The damned Killmonger cut is in Eiyuden Chronicles, I can't escape it man. It's everywhere.

I snagged Eiyuden Chronicles on PC. It's really old school RPG which may turn of modern players. I don't mind it but I spend half my day yelling at clouds. Unfortunately, I hear the Switch version has poor performance. Which frankly surprises me. The game isn't pushing the hardware by any means. It you told me this was a remaster of 360 game, I'd believe you. I enjoy getting Suikoden experience, so I think fans of the franchise will be happy. MSI and AMD don't seem to have the best relationship. MSI versions of AMD cards are typically half assed. They just slap the cooler engineered for their GeForce cares on their Radeon cards. I remember thinking in spite of this that there would be no way they'd use Intel fo the Claw. A guys commenting on the MSI Claw announcement article on Videocardz.com said they'd use Intel he was dead on. I have to assume Intel giving MSI some sort of deal and at least I hope they are.

Hogwart's Legacy was the number 1 selling game last year, because of the controversy. The media push for a boycott plus them talking about JK Rowling views and not the game. Was big driver to push the sales as high as they've gotten. Harry Potter's popularity peaked around two decades ago. Harry Potter games couldn't crack 10 million units in sales then. Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets sold 9 million copies. Hogwart's Legacy has sold 24 million plus. That's nearing 3 times the sales. And Harry Potter himself isn't even in the game

Two words. Hogwart's Legacy. Stellar Blade sales would not be what they are if the gaming media didn't crazy about Eve's appearance. They galvanized people that would have not bought the game to buy it.

Up until last week, I was in the same boat. I stumbled on to it and I enjoyed so much, I've started watching anime again. I've come across some interesting shows but Frieren was/is on another level. I knew the premise going into it. I saw a video, can't remember the Youtube creator, where he used Frieren Beyond Journey's End as contrast to the Rings Of Power when it came to writing. After watching it, I can completely agree with his take.

@AriesWarlockThe Hades 2 thing doesn't surprise me at all. It's hypocrites being hypocritical. As for the "safe horny" term. It's just a bull shit term that they use to try and hand wave away their obvious hypocrisy. Kind of how they are dismissive of women that disagree with them on anything and say they have "internalized misogny". I'm probably super late on this one. I don't really post in this thread and I haven't really been watching much anime recently. That said, I saw one that I thought was really good. Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. Typically the story follows the hero as they "slay the demon king". But this one centers on what happens after. It's told from the perspective of Frieren. She's the Elven Mage of the party and due to her long life she has a far different concept of time than other party members. Her party members were Himmel the Hero (Human), Heiter the Corrupt Priest (Human), and Eisen the Warrior (Dwarf). To make a long story short, Frieren regrets not taking the time to get know her party, Himmel in particular, better. I can't really get into it any further without spoiling things. But if you haven't, the series is really worth checking out. It's does an excellent job of story telling. The way their able to....hm. can't say much with spoiling. Well, if you have seen it let me know what you think.
