  1. I like his Battle costume more than his main. It's got more personality, while still being reasonable.
  2. I missed Reluu putting out Akira and Oro's sprites... Now I just need their Luke sprite to complete the set.
  3. I prefer Clone Zero to Zero because Clone Zero is the only NESTS boss that isn't just another white-haired dipshit. You can't repel mustache of that magnitude. But they should totally make a Zero, Krizalid, Igniz team.
  4. Cool. Congratulations on your super cool, niche taste. But we also weren't talking about "what Darc likes", we were talking about "what Capcom should be making". Maximilion Dood obviously. WoolieVersus of Getting Into Fighting Games. Both are vocal supporters of it. And the comments of pretty much any Eventhubs article on the subject have plenty of people that do as well. That's just off the top of my head.
  5. Absolute horseshit! Maximillian is pretty much the face of #freemvc2, and he is ALSO a vocal proponent of Capcom making a CvC game. Many of the fighting game youtube channels and podcasters want CvC, as the community is generally sick of the Vs. games having limited support/getting delisted due to their licensing deals. You trying to present that as an either/or situation is straight asinine. And fuck off with your "you're projecting your own dislikes as the general consensus" when you do that exact thing one sentence later.
  6. We already have a current MK game. We don't have a current Capcom Vs. game. Cool for you. The vast majority of MvC fans don't agree. There's literally no reason Capcom can't do the exact same thing as ArcSys with the graphics. They just keep choosing not to. It's not like it's a trade secret. ArcSys has given entire presentations showing exactly how they do the Xrd thing. Why go with the "adequate" system when you can just use the one most people prefer? And so was only being 2v2. We're going in circles here, but the bottom line is this: Capcom Vs. Capcom games failed in the past, not because of a lack of Marvel/SNK/Tatsunoko, but because they lacked the mechanics Capcom Vs. fans loved(i.e. MvC2/3, the two most popular games in the series). And until Capcom actually produces a CvC game with MvC2/3 mechanics, it's stupid to assume that the concept wouldn't work.
  7. Because it's not the same as 3v3, and the 3v3 is the thing people really like. Or are we really going to pretend that TvC/MvCI were as popular as MvC2/3/DBFZ? You just went on about how MvCI had all the same fast paced gameplay as MvC3, but it still bombed to shit. And you're not gonna convince me all of that was ugly faces and missing X-Men. Because the gameplay ISN'T the same when it's only 2 characters. TvC had the better art style. I'll give it that.
  8. Oh yeah? Ask MvCI if the difference between 3v3 and 2v2 was just a nitpick to Mahvel fans. You mean "Getting support again". They took 5 years off there in the middle, chief. Really? Not sure where that confidence comes from. They weren't exactly nailing it with the stuff they were actually putting out at that time. Can't imagine how the shit they actually cancelled would have worked.
  9. Only 2v2. Okay, how about one with characters people actually care about? I'm sure his moveset translated perfectly and people would have loved it...
  10. Because CvS already mostly plays like Street Fighter and KoF. Two series that already have current entries. MvC is probably the 2nd most popular set of fighting game mechanics. And DBFZ is kinda the only current thing like it. Completely disagree. CvS's mechanics are a lot more grounded, and don't really fit a lot of the more insane Capcom characters like your Zeros, your Dantes, your Striders, etc.
  11. Well then they're stupid, because that game also sucked super hard and played nothing like MvC. When people say they want CvC, they mean they want MvC with only Capcom characters. Not the...thing...that CFE was.
  12. No, YOU make it sound like they NEVER fuck up. Again, your argument was "They haven't done this yet, so it probably wouldn't sell". Which makes it sound like they ONLY do things that end up selling good. But they don't. They do things that sell bad all the time. Therefor, them not having done it yet has nothing to do with whether it would sell.
  13. And it's just as common for people to be completionists, who will want to make sure they have the entire, finished, product. Even if they are planning on moving on. It applies to your notion of "this must be a bad business decision, or else Capcom would have done it already." But that only tracks if Capcom only makes good business decisions. Which, they absolutely do NOT.
  14. Right, right. Cause Capcom, famous for always making the decision that makes the most business sense. It's definitely a great financial decision to let the 2nd most popular fighting game format lay fallow because they can't find a suitably ill fitting IP to mash with. Well, I bought the S5 pass as soon as they finally announced the last character wasn't some kind of Guest or Evil Ryu.
  15. It has an even better chance of making Capcom Vs. Capcom. Then they don't need to make any deals or get anyone's permission.
  16. Which is...even deader than MvC? There must always be a Mahvel. Even if there's no Marvel.
  17. Why not just MAKE HIM JOE! That's TWICE now what should have been a Joe revamp went to another character! How am I ever gonna get "EVERYONE IS HERE" if they keep doing this?! His hair actually reminds me of Dean from FF3.
  18. Looks pretty fun, but I wish this had been a redesign of SF1 Joe instead of a new character. At least it wasn't a guest.
  19. Hey, I just watched that arc cause it was just in the anime! I'm glad Maam is a martial artist now. The show had too many mages.
  20. Basically, I've always been curious whether Abel is actually a machine, covered in some kind of artificial flesh(like his SFxTK alt costume implies) and Seth is just the same kind of machine without the flesh covering. Or, is Abel just another of shadaloo's artificially grown humans. And Seth is the same kind of artificial human, but with cybernetics implanted in him, giving him his mechanical appearance. Since it's May Lee, if she's the only one that calls them that, I'm going to assume she's just incorrectly applying fictional tropes where they aren't actually applicable.
