I'm thinking among the mess of reactions is the whole mental stack game and the variety of characters as well as player patterns... Any other considerations or factors? That's what's up. I'll be 40 in less than a month, on Bison's birthday, nonetheless! Here's to solid reactions for the decades to come!

So I watched AutoMattock on reacting to DI, which sparked a thought... Am I gonna be ready for it during week one or am I gonna have to work on my reactions a bit more? According to him, DI from at least Ryu is 26 frames. I went to Human Benchmark to check my raw reaction speed: it's 271 ms. Divide that by 16.67 ms and I'm sitting at about 16 frames. My fastest time which seemed like a fluke was half of that at 8 frames. During the betas I wasn't so ready because I needed to train my reactions and have more consideration towards the mental stack of new mechanics in general. Maybe I'll have it down in the next beta? So, how's your raw reaction speed...?

I remember hearing about the basis of dictator's name being Vega related to astronomy... But if I didn't know that, I'd have way too many questions. Like why does this guy even have a Hispanic name and he doesn't seem Hispanic like at all?? I told my wife who doesn't follow SF at all about how dictator is called Vega in Japan and she said it doesn't make sense. Claw dude is Vega to her. M. Vega just doesn't hit that spot like M. Bison does. Bison sounds like the name of someone who rules with an edge of ruthlessness.

I kinda like that the character fonts are specific to the promotional media. If the individualized fonts were on the character select screen, I would've felt like it's trying hard to bite of GGXX. I guess I'm also a sucker for nostalgia cuz the 8 World Warriors in their SF2 CS screen configuration does plenty for me. As a kid, I learned who the 8 were according to their position and their character themes. Maybe it's not the best designed CA screen ever but it's plucking the 90s heart strings in a way no modern SF game has.

That’s ton of slots lol! They may keep the character select screen for the next 5-7 years. But if history repeats itself, we may have a fresh coat of paint a la SSFIV and SFVAE. But one thing’s for sure, all this speculation gots me juiced! Y’all gon let me be the only one here that’s getting the Mad Gear Box?? 😝

Interesting that Nakayama-san’s asking about Boxer. After all, Nash got his standardization and… Why exactly would he ask without purpose, unless maybe he’s gonna make it into the game as well? I say Balrog. I get the whole Mike Bison angle, but honestly, he stopped looking like Tyson shortly once SSF2 got released. Feels like his own man nowadays. Pivoting just a bit, I’m glad to see most of the (S)SF2 characters in the starting roster, but I will admit… Even though the game thankfully takes place after SF3, it doesn’t feel like it does. Maybe it’s the lack of SF3 characters? Whatever it is, I can’t quite put my finger on it. Anyone you guys wanna see on the roster? Here are a few requests that would work for me. Speaking of the Mad Gear Box, I had to put my pre -order for it this evening. I went there a month ago and they didn't have it, so I'm glad they made it available. My local GameStop said they might even have a 9 pm release. SF6 definitely deserves it. Anyone else getting the box?

Yes! They chose the right gacha game to play, and JUST in time for SF6’s release! Love it or hate it, the game is a straight money printer for Capcom. Hope all the SF6 plans that require significant funding work out with all these lovely promotions!

I just realized something crazy y'all: I learned that I've spent at least about $250 on Street Fighter V over the course of the last 7 years. But folks playing Street Fighter Duel have spent likely more than that in the last 4 days of its release 😂

I really want Ken to have a boring happy ending where JP is defeated and he can reunite with his family. JP deserves all the Shoryu smoke for manipulating our dude. I can't help but wonder if someone even more nefarious is behind the bombings and JP's just a front man for whoever the real big bad is...

So I've played Power Rangers Legacy Wars and KOFAS and I spent MUHNAY playing those games. Does SFD feel similar? For sure - if I obsess over getting OP characters and spend rent money tryna get em then the developers have done their job. But @-PVL93-you're right... It's either I get to big boss CPU Seth for free, or die tryin lol. PR Legacy Wars should've had a campaign mode... For KOFAS, sure they have the campaign but since they're by KOF year, it's similar to how the actual games' stories are but I lost interest in that too. Maybe SFD can hold me over before SF6 drops? In addition, I decided I wouldn't mess with SF5 at all till after the SF6 launch. Also been playing the Mega Man X Collection, and USF4.

No money will be spent in the game. I've gotten got by the Gacha model before... Not this time!!

It is - same kinda format as KOF All Star except SFD feels like a wonky auto play RPG. Click stuff and get stuff is most of the game. I don't plan to spend money on it, but apparently Seth is the big bad and I just wanna fight him. Saw this video that I thought might be helpful.
