IT’S ALMOST TIME

My whole take on things like this is that it’s fine to have a headcanon, but don’t get angry if the official source states otherwise or if someone doesn’t support it. Like for Knuckles from Sonic, a lot of people think that he should be black if he was human. I don’t mind that since the thought is harmless. But going around to harass artists because he wasn’t drawn as dark as you wanted him to be is insane. That goes for everything. Being aggressive about your headcanon is weird behavior. My bad. Sometimes I just don’t catch things in text.

They stated that every DLC character will be replacing Kazuya when they release. Though it is just the in-game model rather than a pre-rendered one. They also said that they may add this feature for other characters in the base roster.

Honestly believe they had planned the Ed trailer for Capcom Cup, but had no faith people would be excited for him so they put it out earlier than they wanted to. It’s hard to believe they didn’t have anything to show at the Capcom Cup finals.

Yesterday I learned that Carl Weathers played the God of Basketball in Regular Show.

These guys need to stop talking because they are doing the opposite of selling their show. I went from cautiously optimistic to actively wanting this show to fail in what feels like three days.

Once again executives spend a lot of money to make a show that appeals to no one. Seriously, who is this for? Fans are pissed at all the changes. I The possibility of this making new fans are slim because the audience they’re going for won’t watch a show based off a kid’s cartoon. This is going to end up like Netflix Cowboy Bebop and Velma which is crazy because the cartoon already had a great formula. I also noticed the name dropped the elephant koi episode as one of the detours they want to avoid. That episode was the one that took place on Kyoshi Island and where Sokka gets humbled about his sexism… which is said to be toned down in this adaptation. Don’t tell me they are not going to adapt Suki and Kyoshi warriors. They’re named after a past Avatar, for fuck’s sake.

From what I’ve seen, it comes to two things. One, the actors playing the water tribe are too light skinned. Two, that Azula’s actress is a 14 year old. The water tribe actors are portrayed by the real world equivalent of the water tribe so they can shove it (Except for maybe Sokka’s actor who may be just white). And watching the cartoon makes you forget that Azula is 14 years old or at least younger than Zuko. Not many people her age look like that. Other than those, I’ve seen no complaints about the casting. I remember everyone loving the casting of the fire nation, barring Azula.

I was just honing to post that. Yeah, it completely misses the point of Sokka’s initial growth if you take away his sexism. It was one of the first steps of Sokka growing from a cynical snarker to a reliable leader. What are they going to do with him for the first season? Just make him the funny guy? Not to mention that his sexism wasn’t portrayed as positive at any point. Being sensible at one point but now outdated considering the universe. The fact that Sokka believes that at first gives it a sense of irony considering the women they meet as soon as they leave their home. I see no point in taking it away because the series never agrees with that point.
