After watching Broski in the CPT event last weekend I can see this more than ever tbh. I've never seen a character in this game look so utterly helpless in the corner and he went against a couple Guiles in top 8 that honestly looked really rough. When Aki gets the ball rolling and keeps scoring poison stacks she looks unstoppable, but it looks like from what I've seen it's not something she can reliably set up, especially with how consistent other characters are. I feel weird about Elphelt. I think an Aggretsuko/Baby Metal singer with a sniper rifle is a very Guilty Gear design, but I realized what I really liked about the character was her bride gimmick. Riding a giant bouquet, cutting the cake, that kind of stuff. And gameplay wise her rework was a big one which I feel like no one should be surprised about at this point
