  1. Ok, there's your "comeback mechanic." The description of Ryu's level 3 super says "More powerful when vitality is at 25% or below."
  2. The command list in that video was all simple controls, unfortunately. But I did notice Chun has an air Kikosho super.
  3. Watching this footage it seems like you lose a bit of you drive guage if you get counter-hit.
  4. Yeah check it out. They absolutely skipped the walk out intro after character selection, which made load time about 6-7 seconds. Also, you can see the drive bar under their health. It comes back at a solid, but not too fast rate. It looks like the amount of drive bar restored on a fireball parry is very small, not refunding all of the bar you used to do the parry in the first place. At least that's what my eyes saw, it's a little hard to make out.
  5. This is pure conjecture, but I feel like the "walk out" portion after character select would be skippable. The loading screen might just be the face-to-face, which was pretty quick.
  6. I know a lot of people have tried to get super picky and clown on still-action screenshots from the game, but GODDAMN it looks good in motion. The animations are great, with excellent weight to them. Also saw a lot of moves from Chun we didn't see in earlier trailers, like SBK. Guy playing Jaime didn't get a chance to do much. Quote from Skill Up: "FGC, lemme tell you: I don’t know shit about fighting games. But i will tell you that this felt extremely smooth to play, characters felt weighty without feeling sluggish and it looks awesome. This shitty video doesn’t do it justice."
  7. Huh. Are there character-specific taunts depending on who your opponent is playing? That's neat. Also, who the hell taught Capcom the word "chad" and why do they keep using it now.
  8. 'eeeeey, he's up. And he hates layabouts. https://www.streetfighter.com/6/en-us/character/guile.html
  9. I hope they bring back chip kills, honestly. If I'm playing a zoner, I don't want to feel like I need to go in to clutch the kill. I know there's parries, which is also why I think chip kills would be fair. And I'm also still hoping that parrying projectiles doesn't refund any drive bar. That seems like the fairest way to handle it.
  10. Noticed something during my 10th watch of that trailer. Guile sets a timer on his watch during his intro, and turns it off during his win screen. Dude is literally timing how long it takes to beat your ass for his own personal workout regimen.
  11. Sitting here refreshing the official SF6 website character page waiting for them to add Guile. I don't even care about Guile. I just want more info for this game.
  12. There's a flash when he does the VS1 like he's doing an EX version of it. That could be a version that knocks down like it does. I also noticed a ton of target combos in his arsenal.
  13. They gave Guile eyebrows? The woke puritans strike again! Also, that stage is pretty sick.
  14. Looks like he still has both his V-Skill 1 and V-trigger 1 in the form of a special and super move.
  15. Definitely think it'll be Kimberly shown off tomorrow. I imagine they'll alternate or pair up newcomers and returning characters with their trailers, so we might see Kimberly followed closely by Ken or something.
  16. I just don't want some of you guys to be too let down when they (probably) make you shell out extra cash for Juri again. 😭
  17. It's definitely true that Capcom seems to be taking a lot of the criticism of SFV to heart and is putting their best foot forward for the launch of this one. I wouldn't be surprised if that 22 character list is the total launch roster. I just don't think we should comfortably assume some of them aren't season 1 DLC. This is still an unofficial leak, after all. Keep your minds open to it, at least, so you don't potentially suffer some totally avoidable disappointment.
  18. Everyone seems to assume that the leaks we saw is the entire launch roster, but I think it's very possible we saw the launch + the first season of DLC in that lineup. 22 characters at launch is more than the last mainline SF games. So maybe 5-6 of them are DLC. You know they'd have them well into development before release.
  19. Well, I might be wrong, but I think the Drive Bar and Super Meter are different. The Drive Bar is there at the start of the round, and you can do EX moves with it, but not supers. Unless they stated otherwise, I think the super meter will still build up over the match.
  20. Looks like Capcom is really putting all of their SFV Chun costume revenue to good use with the production values in SF6. My buddy and I are gonna make so many stupid loading screen faces at each other. I also love the walk out intros they're going for, can't wait to see them all for the various characters.
  21. I hope they make him a motion character, it would fit his character more to be mobile rather than just a static Guile-zoner. What I wonder is if he'll get to keep his obnoxious jumping knee attack.
  22. The big dapper Russian sir doesn't look particularly mobile, so he's probably kind of a slow dictator type or might use psycho energy to zone.
  23. Yeah I'm also in the camp of let's just get these WW characters out of the way now. That way we can have exciting DLC announcements that won't be ruined by a fucking BLANKA reveal.
  24. No, I couldn't give 2 shits about Cammy's pants or lack thereof.
