Figured out a 429 damage post stun midscreen combo with Rose. 1 bar, no v-trigger, no v-skill debuffs. Lols

I'm up for some games.

After spending the last couple of nights in SFV lounges, it felt good to actually spend a whole night in training mode with Rose. Trying to drill in her punishes into my head, and I found a pretty sneaky VT1 setup (that I stole from FChamp). I've jumped around characters so much in this game that punishing things in a pinch can be a bit iffy for me, so I'm gonna work at really getting this stuff into muscle-memory now.

I've been pretty casual up til now, but now that the character I've been waiting 5 years for is in the game, my goals are to overcome my anxiety when playing that constantly messes me up, and to reach gold with Rose. So I'll take any tips and I'm up for playing again whenever.

@SoneroThanks for the games, good practice. I did my best but I still got a long ways to go, for sure.

BECAUSE THEY"RE COWARDS. Real talk though I'm glad she got added with this current team in charge because they've been way better at making awesome characters than in the early years of SFV.

Gonna be a long day of work tomorrow for me. First impression: she's fantastic. As a longtime Rose fan I'm extremely happy with this iteration of her.

Her anti-air cr HP is extremely solid, and all versions of her AA grab have upper body invul. I'm in love 😍

V-reversal does not reflect projectiles, lol. You can blast through fireballs on reaction in footsie range with ex soul spiral though.

Her frame data is up too. EX Soul Spiral attack and projectile invul on startup, just like it was in 4. Woooo baby.
