I told my friend yesterday about googling your name along with “the hedgehog” and you’ll find your Sonic OC. She didn’t believe me so I typed her name in this morning and sent her a bunch of Sonic OC’s names after her. The icing on the cake is one of them may be made by her co-worker who has a major crush on her. Before she saw the OC’s I sent her She said she was talking to the said co-worker, who is a furry about Sonic and my friend said the co-worker had made and drew a Sonic OC named after my friend. Im laughing so hard at all this. I had a really shit day at work on Sunday and contemplated calling in today but I feel this will give me the energy to persevere.

The thing that makes me laugh about Moment 37 is that the match isn’t even the Grand finals. It’s semi-finals. They were playing to see who went to GF’s. Daigo faced KO in the finals and got absolutely bodied. What’s even better about that moment is that even back then that parry was such a common occurrence in Japan arcades. Its why you can tell Daigo heavily baited Justin into pulling the trigger and how Daigo was able to parry so effortlessly. My favorite Chun SA2 parry is the one Pyrolee did in casuals when he went to Japan for the first time. @2:55 is the Parry I’m referring to.

Extremely sad to hear about the Bob Saget. Low key one of the raunchiest comedians ever. I remember watching one of his first sets after he started doing stand up again in the mid-aughts. I just had some Reese’s peanut butter cups for the first time since starting my diet back in May. The only reason I did it was because I needed the carbs since it’s been so busy today. I wish I hadn’t. Probably the most disgusting thing I’ve had in recent memory since my diet. I’m so use protein snacks or berries satiating my sweet tooth that I can’t go back to actual candy. It’s absolutely disgusting to me.

I was just at Walmart and while they were out of stock of Switch and PS5 they had a full case full of Xbox Series S/X’s. Probably about 20 of them in the case. I saw an old co-worker who is now manager in the electronics department and asked how long they’ve had that big of a stock of Xbox SEX’s. He said “We have about 4 times what’s out on the floor back in the back. We got all the stock back before thanksgiving and We’ve barely sold any while we can’t keep the Switch or PS5’s in stock”

One of the few benefits of growing up as an army brat was I got to try a lot of different foods from all over thanks to my dad working with so many different people from different countries and cultures. thanks to that upbringing I’m not even remotely weary of trying new food. I’ll try anything once and go by the “three bite rule” my parents made me use when I was a kid. It’s a simple but effective rule. If I don’t like the new thing I’m trying after three bites I simply don’t finish it. It’s a rule that’s treated me well.

Since I started my diet back in May I’ve almost completely cut out dairy. I’ll grate some Parmesan here or have a handful of feta there for a salad or something but don’t really do dairy a lot unless it’s Greek yogurt. Even then I can count on my hands how many times I’ve had Greek yogurt since May. I use to love dairy products (probably a little too much lol) but Now when I try to have dairy like milk, cream cheese, sliced cheeses, etc it just tastes really “heavy” and/or unpleasant to me.

Back home the hobby store I worked at was right next door to a dominos. My co-workers and I had a go-to pizza which was pineapple, feta, pepperoni and jalapeño. It was really really good. Everything incorporated really well and no flavor overpowered the other. Just a really good sweet and salty with a hint of heat.
