VGM Fridays Part 1 HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

I haven't even bothered to look at any of the footage that got leaked cause its so early in development. Any ideas or concepts they showed could easily be different or dropped completely by the time they get comfortable in showing the first trailer.

I've been listening to the Metroid retrospective on and off for the past few days that Hecatom put up and its really disappointing that the tone for how Samus is portrayed got lost in translation for Other M. It wouldn't have overshadowed the other flaws that the game had but could have slightly done less damage to her character if it was left intact. Really the most curious about whoever's decision it was to change the tone for when Samus is burning herself alive and not turning on the Varia Suit.

I'm not going to go to far into this cause I think we're already skirting the line as it is on political talk but we've kept it pretty civil but if I'm about to get on a plane and the pilot greets me at the door saying "I've had some close calls, hopefully we won't crash this time!", I'm going to feel incredibly uneasy. There are certain things you just can't really joke about when especially when you're in a position of power and you hold people's lives in your hand. If Biden cracked a "joke" about being a dictator, I would hope that people would shit on him for it as well even if Venn diagram for his personality or his prior actions don't line up.

Jewel is named dropped in this further confirming that the comics are canon. Starline got a part reference in one of the Q&A questions for the Twitter takeover too. I'm just waiting for Surge and Kit to get name dropped at some point...would be even better if they showed up in a game.

Most are expecting the Supreme Court to jump in because if they don't and leave it up to the states on whether they interpret his actions as being enough to not be on the ballot then it's going to be all over the place everywhere. They haven't announced that they will look into this yet but I'd think that if Trump's lawyers were smart (which is dubious at best when you legit quote "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" in official court documents to prevent Jack Smith from expediting the current trials against him) they'd try to get the Supreme Court to look at this and decide on it before any of the trials against him happen.

Apparently Rudy is in fact getting sued again because he didn't put the shovel down. Pretty sure this is gonna be like getting water out of a desert now.

I didn't know that the hackers who leaked the stuff from Insomniac also leaked employee information so yeah that's definitely significantly worse than just putting game information out there. They pretty much doxxed the employees there so that sucks some shit. I hope they catch these assholes.

I read the manwha for this and it was one of the most dumb fun reads in awhile. It just continues to get more and more ridiculous in terms of the power fantasy so I can't wait to see this animated proper.
