Anytime I use the joycons they are usually attached to the system or in the grip. I think I've only ever used them as a separate controller once or twice during the life of my system. I'm fine with them in the grip but only resort to separate controller if its a dire situation. I usually have all my controllers on me at all times so it rarely ever happens. And like Darc said...the Pro Controller is where its at. I haven't tried playing NMH like the wiimote and nunchuk setup yet though.

Can't say I've had that issue. I mostly play on pro controllers though.

Teba is becoming my 3rd favorite character to play so far in this game now. You gotta remember to hold the right trigger with your middle instead of your index to avoid finger gymnastics with him but he seems to be amazing a crowd control and mobs and and can melt weak points since he can also attack from the air. I also really like how his bomb rune works. So far the only 3 characters I've been meh on in this game have been Daruk, Scientist Zelda (I just got the 2nd version of her unlocked in this story mission so I don't have a full opinion on her) and Riju with Riju being at the bottom right now. Riju seems good at crowd control but she's movements with Patricia are way too fucking crazy for me. It feels like it's hard to control her and get a handle on. I also want to how bad ass Link is in this mission. I know Radiant hasn't gotten to this mission yet but

I was just talking about this asshole in relationship to the Melee shitstorm that's going on right now. I said it before but this guy can ABSOLUTELY GET FUCKED. They warned your ass and then you were like 'nah I"m gonna do that shit again'. Dude got clapped so fast by the ninjas lol.

They could very well just be being cheap but I'm looking at what I have in front of me and trying to think from their perspective on why the decision was made. This isn't quite the same situation as someone like Capcom being lazy/incompetent and not being able to put several old megaman games on one cartridge because they didn't feel like it. Considering the previous work (read: magic and wizardry) that Panic Button has been able to do previously I want to at least give them the benefit of a doubt.

If single player is only 40 gbs then maybe they could have done some magic to make it fit down into the 32 gig cartridge like they did last time but I'm going to assume they decided to keep slightly higher fidelity or there was something that they decided the compromise was too great before deciding to so digital only. Upon looking up the file size for Eternal on Switch, its 18.8 gigs. I had to remind myself what the switch cartridge sizes are and that size puts it at just 2.8 gigs over the 16 gig cart. If I'm putting on my business hat, the question becomes do we put out a 16 gig cart that isn't really playable without a download patch, fork out the money for the 32 gigs which I've heard aren't cheap, or go the digital route. This decision to go full digital was late AF announced for this game so I'd like to think they tried to get it under that 16 gig threshold without doing a serious compromise.

I have glanced over some comparisons to Zelda. Some have said it's a fun Zelda like game, There was one that said it was a bland zelda like game, and then for some reason the Escapist put 'Evolution of Breath of the Wild' which is uh......dunno bout all that.

Extra I'm thinking of scooping Immortals for my Wife. Think she'll really enjoy the game. I haven't seen what the overall consensus for the game is yet though.

Thing is man I need like...a starting point to try to better suggest games just saying 'This kid may not try to shove the controller in his mouth and gnaw on the buttons at any given moment' doesn't really help in trying to suggest a game. Him just liking to mash buttons means that maybe he might like the Hyrule Warriors/Fire Emblem Warriors games...to a certain extent. I mean you nearly can't go wrong with Smash Ult in this aspect either and probably DBFZ and BBCTB. Those are some games where you can sort of roll your face on the controller and make stuff happen. Also Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 can also be game for mashing buttons in. I want to suggest 2D platformers but you're making this dude sound like he doesn't have basic Mario skills/never took platformer 101.
