  1. TK bomber is fun to do. I was messing around with it in training mode. I'm on stick and found the best method to do up+forward and then a fast quarter circle forward. One of those things that I imagine would be piss easy on hitbox but is kind of a pain on other controllers.
  2. I want Elphelt as well. Basically I want to play someone with a gun because these characters don't exist in SF games.
  3. So I guess we're getting a character this month. Really hoping it's I've had trouble finding a main character in Strive - which is a rare problem for me. Don't think it's a problem with the game - just haven't found a character I really click with yet.
  4. Indeed, the netcode is amazing. The roster to me is just ok. I think they played it safe with their inclusions. There are a lot of cool characters that are missing from previous games but that just means there's more to look forward to with the DLC.
  5. Rog lives and dies by his light dash punch. You don't really need to resort to neutral jumping all the time. Figure out a good -4 punish in training mode. Some characters like Sakura have it easier than others but I'm sure Rose has something.
  6. It seems the people that aren't really taking to the game are Xrd and +R players. I'm thinking because they're missing some mechanic or gatling route from the older games. On the other hand the people really digging the game are strangely SF players or people who are completely new to fighting games. Maybe that was ASW's intent 🤷‍♂️
  7. The way they're presenting things, I'm guessing they're going to release Oro and Akira at the same time.
  8. This is why I don't really like the silhouette thing. They try to keep it a secret but it ends up getting leaked anyway. Just tell us up front.

  10. No joke, I fought a decent Nago and couldn't even press a button without hearing COUNTER. Wasn't even hitting heavy buttons. After that I was twirling like the tasmanian devil trying to get in.
  11. Think I'm going to make the switch from Anji to Gio. Anji just seems like he has some holes in his game, and his grounded normals aren't great for whatever reason. The character just lacks sauce. Gio is a bit more tilted to rushdown than I'm used to - but this game is unga and she seems great at it. With Anji, I don't know wtf I'm supposed to be doing half the time while Gio has a clear game plan - get into the opponents face and abuse throws/plus frames.
  12. Can't speak for MK11 but Samsho and GBVS both have underwater netcode. And that definitely doesn't help the scene when offline isn't an option. Both are fun games though.
  13. Eventhubs thinks it's a good idea to do 4 balance patches a year...... What happened to letting games breathe. Once a year at most for me is the correct number.
  14. I haven't gotten any ragequits which has been nice. The beginning of SFV was nuts in comparison.
  15. I like how one and doneing someone makes you look like a bitch in this game. Fast exit out of the rematch screen then literally running away.

  17. Not sure if it's universal (works with Gio and Anji) but I've been using HS D jump cancel K S HS D D as my post dust combo.
  18. If you're interested in Strive, I'd jump in now while everyone is still learning. The first two months are the honeymoon phase before the population begins to taper off. Strive will hang around longer than most though because the netcode is godlike.
  19. Yellow RC seems extremely important. You can use it as a sort of Vreversal in order to save the Burst for later. My issue is getting a blue RC when I want a yellow, and getting a purple when I want a red lol.
