I'm in the same boat. I still play a couple of times per week but I'm not grinding it out trying to get better anymore. I have fun booting up the game and playing random characters on ranked.

During sfv didn't they usually release a new balance patch shortly after Capcom Cup? It's weird how all of this lines up with Akuma being the last character in this season pass while Capcom Cup happens in February. Imagine like they release a Season 2 balance patch before all the Season 1 characters have dropped lol

What are these release dates for sf6 dlc? Rashid was in July. Then Aki two months later in September. It will be a whole five months later that Ed comes out? Wtf?

As for protesters being "trampled" in Ottawa, it was a minor injury a woman received for a "strained shoulder" as per a report by a Police watchdog group in Canada known as SIU. As for the machete thing, violent crime in Toronto has risen from 2022 to 2023. (https://data.torontopolice.on.ca/pages/major-crime-indicators). Not sure if that's what you linked, but there's some data to back up whatever concerns people have about assault in Canada's largest city.

Pretty sure if your opponent walks towards you and you decide to ex fireball maybe a character and a half distance away, they are almost certainly not going to block on reaction most of the time lol

At first, the main lineup of dlc seemed kinda ass. Two characters people didn't like playing against, a new character based on a character most people didn't care for, and Akuma (last, of course.) They made Rashid a bit more interesting and fun to play in sf6, so I have high hopes they will make Ed cool.

I'm begging for more boss characters. Balrog, Sagat, Bison pls

Meaty jab into parry is pretty good. Level 3 is 10 frame startup. That's what I do when I'm playing my actual main lol.

It should probably go without saying, but for all the clout chasers and wannabe pro gamers out there who want to make money doing this... get a real skill. Video production, editing, art, logistics, marketing, event co-ordination, even a YouTube channel are all more viable options than being the best at these games. I think a lot of them either don't get it or are lazy tbh.

It seems like a lot of them haven't got the memo (both on Twitter and Twitch chat) that drive impact and Honda aren't what we are complaining about anymore. That's like a Day -100 complaint!!! 😂 So many people tattle on themselves, it's so funny.

The least amount of fun I've had playing this game so far is with Zangief... this character is so bad it's unbelievable LOL Edit: Okay maybe he is a little bit of fun but it's really tough figuring out how to best play him!

The kids do not like Dhalsim in real life LOL

I got Dhalsim to master rank today in probably 20 hours compared to the nearly 40 it took for Chun-Li. Online Sim too strong.
