  1. This is very true with sf6. Blocking seems like the least favored option and why I think sf6 gets given the "scrubby" label.
  2. https://www.streetfighter.com/6/buckler/fr/information/detail/battle_change20230927 Patch notes bros
  3. Do you have negative edge turned off? It was messing up everything for me.
  4. So maybe you do see where I'm coming from with it being scrubby to mash it out? It's a hail mary a lot of the times. (And since I didn't mention this earlier, I made the assumption that people understood that it was being used while holding down+back lol)
  5. I mean you're not wrong... but I think you might also be missing the point of what I was trying to say. If I replace "mashing parry" with "mashing dp" in the middle of strings that would probably have a completely different meaning to most players. It's a part of the game and I respect that. It's also a common criticism of 3s which has pretty close to the exact same mechanic that people didn't like for the same reasons. Edit: Sonero summed it up perfectly.
  6. well yeah of course. It doesn't make it not scrubby to have an opponent mashing parry in the middle of strings LOL
  7. Perfect parry is mostly bullshit because it most often seems to happen when I'm hit confirming, in the middle of a combo, or punishing a whiffed move. It's hella scrubby. It's like Sonero has pointed out, it's a skill that doesn't exist outside of this game the same way parrying in 3s isn't in others. I'm convinced the last thing someone is going to do most of the time is block at this point. Still love SF6 and 3s tho lol
  8. I hope they revamp the whole input reader at some point. There are clips out there of people getting normals coming out on wakeup instead of throw techs, reversal moves, etc because they entered a single button ten frames before they wakeup. This is a good first step. I tried finding a specific example of Honda getting cr.lk instead of whatever special he inputted, but this is pretty painful to see too.
  9. Big rosters are cool as long as they don't have giant movelists to learn. Tekken 7 got pretty crazy towards the end.
  10. I can't really get a clear answer within 5 minutes of googling so I will ask here. Do the Master League points reset after a certain amount of time?
  11. New game bad, old game good really happened with sfv wow
  12. I have a friend who refuses to play the hub until they take out the ninja turtle song haha
  13. Battlehub reminds me of sf4 ranked. Very inconsistent quality, but perfect for trolling. 😈
  14. There is a team game mode in custom lobby. Add me: Stu Pedasso
  15. Master Rank after 40ish hours of ranked grinding. It stopped feeling tedious after reaching Diamond 5. Got it done in 1.5 sessions from that point going forward.... now what lol
  16. Back from vacation, got to diamond 5 today. The finish line is almost there!
  17. The return of the light confirms into knockdown, thank u sf4 😃
  18. Parries and jumping mostly. I can usually call out the jumps based on the spacing during blockstrings but I'm not consistent enough with it.
  19. Routine complaint time. I can't condition anyone to block online and I'm starting to think it's kind of a bad option lol
  20. The ranked grind is starting to become less grindy. Diamond 4 this morning before I left the house.
  21. I do agree with your sentiment but the throw loops have a different timing than a delay tech most of the time which makes it more difficult to deal with.
  22. I have a few days off from work so I might just try to get it done. I usually have to stop playing ranked once I get frustrated so hopefully that doesn't happen to often. 😅
  23. 25 hours of ranked and i'm in diamond 3, this shit really is like another job lol
