  1. That's because Microsoft Nuked everything with it's newest OS update. I haven't been curating the plot guide since 2018, I left those duties up to @Lord_Vega. Hopefully he's kept a copy of the most recent plot guide. I can't help you guys I'm just a spectator to all of this. Remember that my plot guide was supposed to be a community effort not just left upon one person. I might have access to an older version I have to check my PC.
  2. It's a made up city and it can be placed wherever the developers want to place it. Regardless of the fact that it may look like New York City. In SFA Metro City was placed on the West Coast. This contradicted FF and after that they've held steady in placing it on the East coast closer to where New York would be. Now's it looks like they put it in Canada. So either the developers this time around are as good at geography as Luke is or they put the location there for other reasons. All the other locations are where they're supposed to be except for the USA. Guiles aircraft carrier should be over water but its clearly marked on land. It looks like it's close enough to North Carolina which has multiple bases so that makes sense too. Even Nayshall which is completely made up just like MC is somewhere close to where it would make sense given what they're depicting in the game. Nayshall is somewhere in the Himalayas maybe Tibet. We'll see when the game comes out but mistake or not they say Metro City is geographically in what we consider Canada. Just blame the map on Luke if things don't make sense. Nigeria is in South America and Metro City is in Canada which is definitely apart of the USA.
  3. Here's a look at the World Tour Map from the Developers stream. Not sure if it will be presented like this in game but it gives us an idea of where they say the different places you'll vist are located. Biggest take aways are where Nayshall is located and Metro City. Nayshall looks like it's close to Nepal and Bhutan without actually eclipsing either while still being located in real world China. Metro City has moved again for the third time in SF history (they can never pin point an exact location lol). Now it looks like it isn't even in the USA like it's stating. It's as far North as to be on the border of Ontario and Qubec next to the Hudson Bay in Canada. I wonder if they got the Hudson River confused with the Hudson Bay because Metro City is supposed to be NYC🤣
  4. Here's a funny item from WTM. It's called Gelato Incubo translates into (Ice cream Nightmare). It's what looks to be Ice cream topped with Guile's most hated food Natto! It's effect actually weakens the player. Fact is actually stranger than fiction as this concoction actually exists! I wonder if this is the present you can give to Ryu to have him like you more to teach you his ways. Of course if you give it to Guile he might just Somersault Kick you in the teeth. 🤣
  5. This girl is confirmed to be Eliza from FF 2. They transliterated her name differently that's all.
  6. Basically even if she retires she's a lifelong Interpol agent and never needs to renew her license. But I think it's just gibberish as the date and id number are "aezezae" & "aezaeze".
  7. Retcons aside, I thought she was retired for a second time during SF3 to do her teaching. Ryoredcyclone mentioned this during his blog post for Li Fen during SFV story. I also had assumed that when Li Fen was kidnapped by Urien that she conducted her own private investigation. So her retirement count by SF 6 would be up to three.
  8. Just a side thought but how many times has Chun come out of retirement to become a cop? She quits after 2 then is back for 4+5. She's supposed to be retired during 3 and 6 but I guess since Ken is one of her friends she's back out of retirement? But only for this case because during WTM she's back to being retired.
  9. Good point but hear me out. The new 🍑 tier list works like this. The veteran Cammy is known for bringing the cakes🎂🎂 but newbie Manon is packing some hardcore crepes 🥐🥐 Interpol Chun's got some mean meat buns 🥟🥟 and the tierlist is all for fun🤣. (This is my walkout rap for the characters)
  10. Cammy is also one who suffered from... Amnesia due to Bison's Psycho Power brainwashing. In JP's case Amnesia is a counter technique which implants a Psycho Power bomb which tracks his opposite and then detonates...What if it not only implants a Psycho Power bomb but also brainwashes his victims (in canon). What if the insurgency was against JP initially and then he brainwashed them into his loyal subjects. Only to be his pawns to be detonated in a terrorist attack that would be blamed on another (Ken).
  11. I propose a booty tierlists for SF 6. Everyone likes a good looking butt and SF 6 is full of them....This video has the right idea.
  12. Not to bash everyone making tier lists and all for the characters I know it's all in good fun and makes for interesting discussions but I still think canon tier lists are all dumber than an ice coffee maker. Like why is Sagat ranking lower than Dhalsim or Gen? Forget about ASF (we know Capcom has given Guile's and Chun's character intro's for 6) the guy is a former Boss character. Necalli gets smacked down by everyone he fought why is he so high? Ingrid not a SF....then why include her? Save some room for the FF or Slammasters characters if we're listing Non SF characters at least they're SF canon.
  13. I know in canon Restu is supposed to be old. Even in the artwork where he's featured with Dan they don't really hide this fact. Who knows? Maybe he's good friends with fellow senior citizen Zeku too and learned the age rejuvenation technique.
  14. Which maybe why JP chastises Bison for wanting to find a suitable host for the Psycho Power since he was using it haphazardly. Just a thought really because we know JP can use his hands and coat them with Psycho Power when he wants to. Maybe him using a cane is just a front for him not wanting to use Psycho Power with his bare hands. He can still do it obviously in his CA.
  15. What if JP has "True" fighting form like Akuma, or Bison (or Oro in theory) and its him actually using his hands to fight instead of his cane?
  16. Here's why I said Akuma is the perfect definition of a cash cow. Cash cow, in business jargon, is a venture that generates a steady return of profits that far exceed the outlay of cash required to acquire or start it. Akuma takes very little resources to make because he's literally just a sprite edit of Ryu and Ken, the initial Player 1 and 2 characters available from the first game. He's always provided positive cash flow to Capcom long into SF's life cycle since his initial appearance. Because he was a secret boss people lined up to throw quarters into their arcade machines just to get beaten numerous times and do it all over again. Now that gaming has evolved they save Akuma for future DLC releases well into SF's life cycle in order to generate that same sort of hype from nostalgic players. By generating steady streams of income, cash cows help fund the overall growth of a company, their positive effects spilling over to other business units This is why he makes so many cameos because his effect of just being a guest character brings positive effects (revenue) to wherever he appears. They usually bring in cash for years, until new technology or shifting market preferences renders them obsolete. Akuma's not going anywhere until the market (fans) render him obsolete. The fans have to shift thier focus which is just starting to happen after him being around for almost 30 years. This has obviously had an effect on other up and coming characters like you've mentioned (Ed, Rashid, even Necalli) Cash cows can act as barriers to entry to the market for new products, as entrants need to invest heavily in order to achieve the brand awareness required to capture a significant share of the market away from the dominant players. Akuma acts as a barrier of entry to new characters and them achieving awareness. Akuma is basically one of the more famous SF characters. Even people who don't play SF regularly know that he's a representative of SF. This keeps him from changing his story or attitude as well because too many new ideas for him might impact the revenue that he is suspected to make. Some newer characters have achieved some recognition, like Juri for example. She's the only new character from SF4 to have appeared in every subsequent game since her initial appearance. Until we get more characters to achieve some level of recognition then we're probably going to see more of Duhhhh-kuma.
  17. His Dojo is already in Metro City right next to the construction site Ken's working on. Ken's situation is even sadder when you realize Dan has become more successful in his business now and Ken has to see this while being a laborer😭
  18. Love this part of SF6#0 because if that kid really knew what Luke does to get his gains he'd probably be all for it. Luke just dirty bulks by eating all the junk food he wants🤣
  19. Would be better the superhero was named Captain Commando seeing as this character is already covered in Capcom yellow and blue with the Capcom logo C plastered around his body. Either way @ShockDingowould enjoy the reference
  20. It's kind of bittersweet but now Ken is on the most level playing field he's been with his buddy Ryu since they're both these homeless wanderer's now. Ryu has always been this way, but now Ken is in the same position but we know he's had more at stake to lose. In terms of story the reason why Ken usually gets back into fighting once he has his family is ultimately because of Ryu. Sure his family makes him push himself once he gets back into it but we always see the repercussions of his attachments. He always seen himself as one step behind his old friend. Then he goes out to find Ryu in order to test himself, this happens both in SF2 and SF3. Well now he doesn't have those same commitments but he's still struggling due to the circumstances. He's depressed of course, but now he could learn to detach from the material things just like Ryu.
  21. They leave out the introduction of Ken's board of directors who are established in Metro City. The introduction of Kalima and the Nayshall fighting arena. Not like we don't know who and what they are given they tell you about them eventually. The glaring one was Albert Jackson though as Ken just calls him by his last name throughout the issue. Just weird they left that part out.
  22. Also something that was omitted from the English version of the comic was Kimberly's uncle's full name. The Japanese translation introduced him fully as Albert Jackson. Not sure why the English translations love to change stuff or completely leave it out. 😒
  23. It's almost as if JP himself used his Psycho Power and scheming to brainwash the general population of fans. This is beyond what Bison could ever dream of. Ken's a bad father now, he's a cryptobro akin to Elon Musk. You really do die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
