  1. So apparently the drones that will appear and attack you (and maybe the fighting fridges) are being developed by a company called SiRN. Not sure if they're related to Seth's SIN which was defunct but it could be a possibility. They were the weapons division of Shadaloo after all. SiRN is fairly new in the SF world as people say it's an up and coming robotics company.
  2. That and they chose to not include that she achieved her goals in defeating them… I mean we know she had a ton of help in defeating them, so much help it could be said she really didn’t do much at all besides being present for the event. 😭 I guess a better way to word it would be she witnessed her life long wishes fulfilled when Shadaloo was defeated.
  3. Nope, all the other versions (Chinese, Japanese, & Korean) imply that Chun li has achieved her long standing wish of defeating, eliminating, or destroying Shadaloo. The English version omits the part of her actually achieving her goals and just says that Shadaloo is sundered.
  4. What I imagine F.A.N.G’s first day at Shadaloo headquarters was like🤣
  5. Not true, Oro just said it would take Ryu at least 15 years of his own training to become strong enough that he would have to use both his arms. He didn’t state that he had to become his student to do this. The 2nd Impact ending implies that Oro wants to re teach Ryu. In 3rd Strike however it seems Oro abandons this idea as he thinks that Ryu’s own training would get him to become strong enough to seriously challenge him one day. To be fair I thought that the robe that Ryu wears in SF6 belonged to Oro and that Oro kinda just forced ghosted away and left it behind like Yoda and Obi Wan. We know Ryu takes mementos like Ken’s headband so I just assumed he took Oro’s robe.
  6. Speaking of dog cameos Its Shiro from Final Fight Also not sure if anyone posted these Easter eggs yet This is the building that was featured in Ken’s first trailer. It’s the job site he’s supposedly hiding out at.
  7. Maybe not with them because they’ve already been established as name swaps for a while now. The whole possibility of litigation from Mike Tyson kinda throws a wrench into that plan (even though recently he said he never knew about Balrog or M.Bison and kinda seems flattered by the Boxer character) Less established characters like Sodom who was Katana overseas however could just become “Katana Sodom”.
  8. So are they going the whole “Charlie Nash” route with everyone that has two overseas names?
  9. Arcade mode only seems to include a prelude story though to introduce the main cast. I’m not sure if they’re going to do rival fights like they used to but they may include a Boss character. The endings seem like they’re just going to be one frame of artwork and judging Guile’s it seems to be just for fun and not really influencing canon at all. I’m not sure how much story we’re going to get out of arcade mode like we used to and it seems the main story of SF6 is going to be focused in WTM.
  10. Small detail analysis but Luke still has his chest tattoo from SF5. Guess the stars on his forearms were only temporary tats or maybe the scars on his arms messed them up so he had them removed.
  11. Besides the obvious Luke and Abigail being personally there you also have pictures of Rufus, Dudley, and G. Also a reference to Street Fighter League parodying the logo for the NFL.
  12. So Akuma is either fully in Shin mode or he’s just that old now to be sporting a full face of white hair…Yea he’s probably around Gens age by now in the series he’s old 👴🏼
  13. This makes sense to draw a comparison Shorinji Kenpo as the basis for “Ansatsuken” We know that Restu was the first opponent you face in SF1. He’s mentioned to be a friend of Gouken as well so the comparison of their styles is valid. He uses forbidden techniques from Shorinji Kenpo and is banned from his temple which may have been influenced by his encounter with Gouken. We know that Gouken forbids himself from using Shoryuken except in desperate times. He even goes so far as to teach it to his students despite his adversity in using it himself.
  14. It literally took a”😄” from Nakayama for you to believe that was Carlos even after we know they update old character attires from time to time? Correction; Abigail will be installing new tires to the car once you destroy it in the World Tour mini game based of the SF2 bonus stage.
  15. Man looks good for being so old. He has bling too! I wonder if he bought that chain and watch or Deebo it off somebody…yea he knows forbidden Shorinji Kenpo he definitely snatched it off somebody.
  16. Yes it’s hard to do and you have skilled stunt actors and fight choreographers to do it. Plus you have a full Hollywood budget rather than something fan made or from Chinese cinema. Mike Moh who played Ryu in AF literally sprained his ankle during filming the last fight. Joey Ansah had bad knees while playing Akuma. People are going to get hurt whilst playing these roles accurately unfortunately, and that happens in any movie like this. If fans can do it then Hollywood can too. I’m just saying if Legendary has the budget then it should definitely go towards portraying a good fight. I’m not sure how the script or special effects will play out in this new movie but if they have at least one fight scene that has some cohesiveness to the game then I’ll be impressed. Heck, if they had a fight scene staged around a car where both opponents and the car gets damaged while the fight is happening would totally feel like SF. Like I said it doesn’t have to be a 1-1 adaptation but it should have themes that revolve around the game. Relevant moves and various world locations are something the fans recognize and non fans and critics can be mesmerized by. Because honestly, I doubt anyone is really going to see SF for its generalized Hollywood story (besides us lore junkies) or some live action cast cosplaying the main characters. They’re going to want to see some ass being kicked. Since SF isn’t like MK where you can wow the audience with bloodshed and gruesome violence why not at least try to recreate the games fantastic moveset?
  17. Yes it is a good fight scene, but like I’ve said we’ve have come a long way in fight choreography. Some movies that aren’t even related to SF have more of a SF feel in their fight choreography than some movies that are related to video games. Donnie Yen’s: Ip Man movies in terms of choreography have that feel of what a SF movie should be in terms of a fight scene. It’s not like in the most recent MK movies where you do have a lot of the Hollywood generic fight scenes with specials and Fatalities thrown in the mix. You have throw techs, combos which link into specific specials (you know when Yen is going for his repeating drum punch). This should be what a SF movie should look like in terms of an fight. https://youtu.be/PhQsxcbo6gk https://youtu.be/JWsbsjJzxl0 The fight almost looks like it could be Fei Long, Chuns dad, or a young Gen vs Balrog and Guile.
  18. You can’t really shit on AF because as a template to a live action SF adaptation it hasn’t been beat. Im saying that sure while Legendary will obviously have the budget to bring a live action SF movie that could potentially bring together the the 8 main WW characters against Shadaloo and Bison. They can also bring the world of SF to life by visiting the multiple world locations featured in the game. Will the fighting feel somewhat game accurate? That’s up in the air. We might see the generic Hollywood choreographed fight scenes with some SF centric special attacks sprinkled in the action like they’ve been doing or something closer to what we seen in AF. It doesn’t have to look like their fighting on a 2D plane. That’s basically explained away in AF due to style the Shotoclones use which is a direct and linear form of Karate. The new movie should implement some of the combos the characters use in game and it should be apparent. As good as SF2AM is animated and choreographed none of the fight sequences really resemble what’s portrayed in game. We should be beyond the Hollywood generic punch kick throw sequence with a random special attack thrown in. SF has evolved so much over the years but the players and fans know how to play the characters who return through the familiarity of each characters moves and combos . That should be essential to the movie as well especially with a bigger budget. I feel that the moves of SF portrayed on the big screen in some accurate in game fashion would charm fans and non fans alike.
  19. Oh please 🙄 SF Assassins Fists had convincing choreography and stayed true to what the game presents no matter how corny it looked aesthetically . These actors presented the SF fight the way it was meant to look in the game (2D back and forth fighting). They were their own stunt actors and used the same movements and combos you would if you played a Ryu vs Ken match. They hit and threw each other around while selling their movements and hits without any added BS. Of course this wouldn’t work in a true live action movie, but it seems just convincing enough to work in a fan made series
  20. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Hollywood is going for a …..Third Strike 🥁 with a new SF live action film in the works
  21. Bro... This song is so great it literally took an unknown singer and propelled her into stardom. That's literally an award winning song and it got it start being featured in the SF anime movie. Which is why it's being used for promotion overseas because it's that familiar with them.
  22. Speaking of Japanese Marketing, look at how they promote SF6 during a live soccer game! They're going all in with that SF2 AM theme for sure
  23. This is because SF6 is so simple to play in Dynamic Mode that it can be played by a simple house cat (Neko-chan: ちゃん) Infact they even 3D printed a controller for your cat to use to play SF6 Japanese Marketing is so weird 😂
  24. Has JP been confirmed to be G? (I'm soo tired of acronyms I'm surprised DeeJay hasn't been abbreviated to DJ) 🎵" And that Gent today you gave a cent today once had several chateaus"🎶 - Anything Goes: Cole Porter.
