  1. I'm probably wrong, but I cant think of many numbered series in a franchise having so many physical versions on one console (PS4) 9 in the mainline series Yakuza 0,1,2,3,4,5,6, 7/LAD, 8/LAD2 Plus.. (Spinoffs/Side games) LAD Gaiden, Ishin, Judgment 1, Judgment 2. Fist of the Northstar LP
  2. Like a Dragon Gaiden: Trailer Kiryuuuu chaaan! Let's make sure I have this correct: Ishin remake Yakuza 8 -featurng Kiryu-chan Like a Dragon Gaiden -Kiryu as main character I believe all these will be on PS4 still? Cool beans!
  3. A new Yakuza game for us lowly PS4 serfs and it seems to be a traditional action game and not turn based? Be still my tiger drop...
  4. The only time I support "blackening" would be casting Lizzo as Blob. She wouldn't need makeup/CGI to achieve the signature look and her mannerisms are as crude as the Brotherhood member. Frederica Jehoshaphat Dukes!
  5. Toy Story was a blessing and a curse. I thought it would be an occasional romp ,not the dominant form of animation for the next 27 years. I wish there was some way animators could somehow use a process similar to how ArcSys makes 2d fighting games from 3d models. It may not be as good as classic stuff ,but I'm just tired of cg films only Anime films have special screenings and once in a blue moon WB/DC will show their dtv animated films but it's strange the Disney is at the rear of the pack in terms of traditional animated fare.
  6. I didn't know RockB's mom was on Twitter DOE.. https://imgur.com/a/SvwhXBy
  7. Million, We've been enjoying her since 2015. She plays a character named Ilsa Faust in Mission Impossible 5 (2015) and 6(2018).
  8. Whatever happened to the Jack Ryan show on Amazon? I thought it was solid from the two seasons I watched.
  9. Disney marvel shows are relatively short at 6-9 episodes so I guess I'll wait till it's all out. I'm eager to see DD in the future with 20 plus.
  10. That's a good choice for them business wise. Do any of the other services have whole seasons uploaded all at once? I like the whole season at once style, but I guess I'm in the minority lol
  11. A new Monkey Island game? Intriguing. Shame us PS4 peasants won't get to experience it.
  12. https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Grimlock_(G1)/toys#Masterpiece The Masterpiece Grimlock from 2009 or so had the apron. But it is probably hard to find now for a decent price. It was originally $90 then.
  13. Corey Burton (G1 Shockwave/Spike/Brawn/Sunstreaker) is Megatron and Ratchet in Animated. That vehicle mode he takes later. chef's kiss Tom Kenny (spongebob) is Starscream
  14. The fact that racists cling to a franchise which has hundreds of different species working together yet if more than 1 black person in the franchise exists, it is mega harassment time. I wonder if Star Trek DS9 came out now instead of 1993 would Avery Bullock would be harassed as much as Boyega or Moses Ingram?
  15. Richard Moll also was the second voice of the Scorpion in Spider-man TAS after Martin Landau won his Oscar and became unavailable. Aron Kincaid also voiced Sky Lynx in Season 3 of G1 Transformers. I never understood why they recast Croc in the later seasons though.
  16. Trek vs Wars? Bigger nerds - hard to tell. I guess Trek but only because it has a "nerdier" vibe due to the whole concept being multiple races working together in an ideal future where a lot of poverty/disease is minimized whereas SW feels like the Wild West only spread out amongst various star systems. The Empire/first order is generally portrayed in a negative light unlike the federation imo. Also, SW being much more of a merchandising juggernaut and more kid friendly has made it more mainstream imo. Whether you go to Walmart, a Disney park, watch tv, there are more avenues in which you would be more likely to encounter SW. Trek is mostly a TV presence with novels/toys but not at the same level of SW. Does Paramount even do stuff like Trek Day or other hype events? Trek excels at longform storytelling so its better that it is mostly on TV. While I do think the ST franchise can do thrillers or pure action films well like Khan, Undiscovered Country, and even First Contact, it is hard to bring a thought provoking story in at 90-120 minutes and make boatloads of money. SW has action, romance, and plays better in the cinema. ST has ship battles, but not really well executed hand to hand combat and outside of the battleth no iconic close range weapons.
  17. For my older squiggas now that TMNT Cowabunga Collection is out (I havent got it) 1) How far did you get in the 1989 TMNT NES game without various cheats? 2) And now with save states/rewind in emulation? 1) In 1989 , the farthest I got was the 4th area - the airfield. 2) About 10-12 years ago, I was able to get to the technodrome on emulation using save states. The CC uses save state and rewind, but it would have been nice if there was some Invincibility cheat added lol.
  18. https://www.superherohype.com/tv/518741-superman-lois-casts-michael-bishop-as-the-new-jonathan-kent New Jonathan Kent cast in Supes/Lois
  19. Of all the original Image titles that debuted in 1992, only Spawn and Savage Dragon are still being published. I have to give major props to Erik Larsen. He is still writing, drawing, and inking Savage Dragon 30 years later. For all the hubbub around Image, most of the artists only worked 1-2 years on art and then handed it off to other folks.
  20. For those of you who read comics as a kid or now, what series did you read? I started at 7 yrs old with Uncle Scrooge and G1 Transformers (1989-1991) I then started reading X-men vol.2 and Amazing Spider-man from 1991- 1999 (X) and 1991 - 1996 (SM)
