  1. @Darc_Requiem First of all sorry for the super late reply, works for new home are sucking all free moments and bunch of times wanted to reply but gave up as wanted have bit time to offer well thought reply (this post itself has been written through bunch of different moments lol) Yeah, i understand well As i said bunch of times my 2cents is even if seem awkward don’t be afraid to deform extremely your model Actually rather than removing mass i suggest opposite, set all settings straight to zero till the model seem basically a skeleton with skin lol, then put a suit on it and start to fill the various body parts till they reach the lean look you was looking for Some other body parts may even stay to zero(or close) though, example i noticed traps muscles are total enemies of a char with suit (business shirt+jacket), even at very low value they will instant make neck look very short and deform shoulders line making the char silhuette chunky Sadly the clothes volume in SF6 work very similar to how early Soul Calibur ones were (later chapters still had same problem but less), it’s hard get the look you was looking for (specially with multiple layers) unless you heavy carving on the body model Another solution if you really want go for the suit having the “painted on” look… you may actually do it and literally make her vest be essentially the skin, like i did here for Seth, making the body black and using paint to create his gray face I think here in the picture version i did a mediocre rushed job (black skin should shine more to blend much better with dark blue tiger body paint, sarf was kinda shit done too) but it's useful to show the facepaint trick Problems you will face using this path are two: 1 1- Use face-paint to create the normal skin tone will cover her eyebrows. Was not a problem for Seth (who does’nt have eyebrows) but to do an average human is bit weird, unless the char is compatible with that look. Is possible use some tricks to recreate eyebrows with 3D gadgets (black angel wings are easiest pick), but overall even doing very good job they will still look kinda fake compared to regular ones. Picking this road i would rather suggest (if compatible with the character’s design) to add big ass sunglasses or an haircut that cover as much as possible the eyebrows area Fun thing for my S.Raven i used similar trick (skin and body-paint making S.Raven electic battlesuit), based it not on the official SF4 rejected artwork but on my edit of it wich added the glasses (even if tbh even the SF4 concept had an head/face bw sketch study adding glasses too, wich gave more “official” ground for mine lol) Concept here was give S.Raven the electric full suit under the clothes, but less hidden (that’s why Capcom’s original version had baggy clothes) and removing the gloves to “unleash” the powered-up hands... don't have screenshot of him (as for all others of same "SF rejects" group beside Zubaz), but if you're interested will add him to next bunch, i consider him mostly complete 2- This is a much smaller issue, but keep in mind recreate a decent/realistic “face texture” over the face-paint will take basically all your face slots. Method is doable, but require lot of extra work just to get a “real face look” You put face paint on bottom last layer slot, and above use lot of make-up slots to give natural and different colors on lips, eye area, cheeks etc. Also the matter of face-paint itself is important, keep in mind for example base value of "sheen" will be zero while except for particular cases usually one would make skin to have it somewhere in the 45-55 range (to hit the “SF6 look”), for sure i suggest give the paint same value you would give to normal skin. In case of char that can have wrinkles (not your girl, but saying for another case) or scars these help make everything feel less fake Overall if i was you i would go with first option, and just do regular char with items you prefer (wich will allow to stay closer to description) and carve her model really hard If you dont mind i can give a try on her, i like work with a theme I will probably fail at meet what you was looking for, but maybe can help 😁 That’s what i love of the editor recreations involving some thought/reinterpretation, i would for sure make some things differently, and yet i find your Blaze to work too and i think have a good look It’s ever cool to me see same things done by different people... to be brutally honest between two takes at something i would most of times dismiss one take as “lesser” (even if is mine), but when you get two different solutions being both high quality/worthy is cool see more paths to same goal 😁

I think in SF we got bunch of devs statements already to hint that not only we will never get "perfect balance" but they will not try either, they just want a food chain built in a way that please them (and in their mind, the audience) Ryu claimed to be used as balancement standard or something had him mediocre for most of SFV live and started similar in SF6 Some claim it's better because he's so popular that if was stronger would be picked more, yet you have Ken who have similar popularity and tend to get better shit Akuma is strong because they (and some fanbase) have boner for Akuma, so Akuma have to be stronk. They even gave up the old idea of make him glass cannon with lower HP, just make him stronk because he's Akuma Zangief is like banned from being high tier. It's ok some characters are high tier, they're fine with it, but if is Zangief is a nono I guess also SF6 Luke being super strong (and i main him, i like MMA) was another intentional bullshit to try boost/shoehorn popularity of not so loved new protagonist And stuff like that And i'm not even counting the marketing fact that they may be inclined to make DLC chars on the stronger side because otherwise tiers bitches would say there's no reason to buy them lol I don't even wish to have some mythical perfect balanced game where every matchup is 5:5 * but them artificially chosing what deserve to be higher or lower feels very bullshit to me Imho correct way would simply be them taking chars (whoever they are) that clearly underperformed throught the year and make legit moves to make them more effective, same way pick the very few that clearly were above others and find a way to nerf them possibly without remove what make them fun... i don't want a non-tiers-whore Ken player that legit find his char fun to play style wise to end up with something boring, just find a way to make it no more overpowered * plus would be impossible have it for everybody, even with same chars involved a matchup at high pro level goes different from same clash done at my shit level of play
  11. @Darc_Requiem Guess i'll wait tomorrow morning update to see if there's any cool new item that can improve current creations, then later on the day will look for something to post here One of these days guess will try to make up mini-teaser (just pics collage lol) of the two little projects i care the most next to straight main cast recreations: -A group of recreated, redesigned characters took from Capcom's rejected concepts of past SFs (i even had to make up the names as many don't have any) This one is basically complete, iirc complete list is -A group completely original ones made by me, this one is kinda tricky because the temptation is ever do 99 of them, but i'm trying to apply quality and need over quantity, so i'm trying to squeeze the number down to only the few ones i want most and see how i can try to maximize the poor tools we have to make them try as "official shit" as possible lol... this is easily most challenging one, specially to try keep some variety (must stop myself from add too many euros lol) and try to find stuff i don't feel has been already made redundant by existing SF6 cast (or by SF characters still not in, example Dudley is absolute ideal SF boxing to me, i'm not creating a new pure boxer. On other side DeeJay is shit kickboxing rep to me, so got no problem go for dutch kickboxing repping the golden age of the style) Not even sure how handle full original group, if add some sort of mini "story" for them wich support the chara design logic and interaction with existing cast (example imagined the dutch kickboxer with idea he got fucked up badly by Sagat in the past, playing on dutch kickboxing vs Muay Thai rivalry), may even try free hire you for it 😆 For both groups took inspiration from your past way of present characters, made SF style profiles a while ago (must find where i saved them lol)

Also loved Blanka as pick for Vice, it's a style that can give total original results on very different (from Blanka's) bodies Yeah, working with double layer does'nt help at all us that unlike Capcom can't choice how much clothes are supposed to adhere to the body Specially if you already chosen the costume pieces don't be shy at literally deform your character as much is needed to make it look how you want, clothes extra bulk will fill the gap nicely Much smaller belly/waist would also allow you to keep the big boobs silhuette even with a smaller chest size (wich affect also back and to some extent shoulders bulk) too wich would make the overall figure leaner while leaving thicker proportions where you want the girl to have some meat ps: fun thing if you wanted give Mature this look the Yor (last collab black dress) costume would have done most of the job for you, leaving you just the 3 slots to add earrings (Eternity or dangling), golden iron bangles on wrists and thin thigh highsocks 😁
  13. 😆 Story wise could make sense since MC is no more safe, we get in phase 2 a different place (hope Germany) where he and other former Shadaloo lab freaks can stay together Not only to hide but also to straight offer a resistance as a group against JP's forces One thing i noticed is that in many cases in SF6 the "power level" seems to have been toned down to more grounded levels*.... like if normally in previous chapters one could expect a legit "SF level" char to destroy LOT of normal or even slighty powered-up humans, now seems they did little step back at that I'm thinking for example Jamie have bit struggle fighting just 3 of these absolute bum chinatown gang members, one even tank his strikes surprising him lol Even counting Jamie is still very young, by comparision in SF3 very young, super bum Sean who can't beat no-name tournament fighter was still able to one-shot a formidable and huge fighter (Pulk Hogen, huge wrestler who got his SF wiki page who has been thrown by Zangief out of the ring and causing rampage in the audience) Or other stuff like in SF6 Udon canon comic Ken being visibly affected by a single normal gun shot to one arm iirc, while previously we would have believed him to be able to be struck by multiple ones and still be able to fight properly... let's just remember how effortlessly in SFV Chun Li could random kick down a giant metal door heavy as a bulldozer, they were more super hero level there lol Ed himself in his SF6 teaser seems to have to put some effort to fuck up the 3 shadaloo goons... wich are probably much better than average MC punk, but still no-name bums He even smart "cheat" using to his own advantage train bumps as openings, as due to superior balance he's the only one in the wagon totally uneffected by train movements All this make me think in SF6 numbers of minions does matter So could make sense that if JP is sending hundreds men after him and other freaks, freaks themselves may chose to form a group (Neo Shadaloo) to have a sufficient force to repel big numbers of shadaloo goons and defed their own freedom (would love to see Necro and Effie join them too) *we still get crazy shit, like SF6 Zangief got his best feat ever forcing a gigantic submarine through insanely thick ice lol

Bison turning blue was the effect of his body being invaded/filled by Ryu's ki, wich had the ability to suppress negative ki and turn it in his azure hado energy Is basically same thing he did on himself right before fight Necalli, suppressing his own negative ki/satsui no hado and turning it from red to azure here timestamped It's like if previously Ryu had some sort of power limit that when reached he could not avoid Satsui no Hado to get triggered, but SFV version of Ryu could reach that point and then use Mu no Ken/Nothingness to convert all that power into normal non negative azure ki Throwing that hadoken filled of this energy at Bison did same thing Guess made sense that Bison's body crumbled because we know Bison's body was'nt even his real self but just an empty shell made in labs to be powered by Psycho Power and got suddently filled with an opposite energy Kinda like put the wrong fuel in a car and fuck up the engine We should remember Bison whole immortality is based entirely on Psycho Power I'm not sure on Ed effect would be the same because Ed is still a living being and "positive ki" in theory should not harm him He's not even powered by negative emotions, simply Bison added artificially Psycho Power to Ed's special body (as we know Bison gave to the 4 Neo Shadaloo chars 1 "gift" each) If i understood correctly nature of Ed's body is simply that its special trait is that could host Psycho Power without be affected by faster aging or corrupted (wich happen to normal Bison shell bodies) but does'nt need it Though i admit Ed "dying" could be an interesting trait to the char considering how pale and less healthy he looks in SF6, would kinda remind SFV Nash vibes, these doomed/cursed destiny characters are cool But offering different perspective, maybe Ed special body is'nt 100% immune to Psycho Power but just less affected, so in long run (considering SF6 timeskip) maybe it's body is still being poisoned like a cancer by Psycho Power and he learned Soul Power as some sort of cure, to heal or at least slow it down... would be interesting twist Yeah i think Falke can be really easy for them because they can give her JP style (would be cool if he was revealed to be her La Canne master back to SFV days) and then add just couple of unique specials My hope is we will be able to fight also Knife teleport guy and the genius Gorilla, they will have to get more creative there lol Yeah i remember he had some sort of Psycho Powered forward dash/dodge, but i was thinking about something different and closer to the teaser, like him getting the ability to slip punches on various directions (like dodge on the spot, slip forward, lean backward etc) without use PP... for that reason i made Steve Fox name, was thinking something more like his dodges Yeah i was saying indeed that while teaser seem to hint less PP, it can be misleading because he's essentially fucking up minions that don't require it, and that he used ki attacks as soon he had to face a stronger (still mediocre) opponent

WTM Master cutscenes usually are made like this 1- Master introduction 2- Master accept us as disciples (in the location he will be found in WTM) 3- Master celebration/Completed the whole style This teaser seems clearly phase 1 (Ed seems hostile to us), phase 1 is'nt necessary in same place where the WTM Master location is Juri phase 1 was in UK (her location is Nayshall) Juri is most extreme case being in whole different country, but many others had phase1 in different area than final phase 2 location Story wise Ed may make sense to have phase 2 in completely different place, considering seems he's escaping from JP's men that want capture him in MC

Bit soon to tell, is possible teaser palette is affected by the location having kinda blueish lights/shadows But just watched the trailer again, got to admit each move seem bit different case First powered punch is bit a mix, seem to have azure but also purple PP flame The mid-air catch is full purple The last strike seems mostly azure with just bit of purple Again may be ambient lights but still curious to see if you have a point, interesting detail We may find out when they release gameplay trailer in a normal stage

One thing i noticed is that teaser put lot spotlight on Ed's ability to dodge (normal boxing dodges without need of psycho power) wonder if may mean SF6 Ed will get bit more Steve Fox style with dodges integrated in his moveset, would be appreciated One cool detail is of the vid has been put great emphasis on Ed's footwork and balance, showing how he's totally unaffected by train movements while his opponents lose balance at every bump and Ed take advantage of these openings Wonder if what does to the big guy is just cutscene or may hint us what one of his supers looks like, coreography/camera wise remind me lot Lv3s About the Psycho Power being less used is possible (will like it) and teaser seems to show that, but we should consider these box-heads are absolute bums and Ed may find overkill use PP for them, while he uses it as soon he face somebody like big guy that can offer bit more challenge Guess gameplay wise since many got install type shit as Lv2, would not be much surprised if he may have Psycho Power boost as Lv2

Made some observations in other thread about design/Style, here talk other stuff and brainstorming a bit Some interesting shit under story perspective, new scenes change some stuff in my mind theory wise - It's fun i talked in my old posts/theories about JP/NS saying JP would threat Ed & Co as CHESS pieces, in particular how he may treat some important ones as Ed and others as Queen, Bishop, Knight etc but ultimately still see everybody expendable as pawns, because ultimately in chess most important rule is that ANY piece beside the King (JP) is expendable And Ed close the teaser with "I'm not gonna be anyone's PAWN, you ear me?" PAWN = ♟️ -Ed is obviously talking to JP (who sent Shadaloo soldiers after him, disguised as MC gang members), meaning Ed "rebel chara design" reason is that he indeed revolting against JP... wich is fun considering SFV hinted Ed was first/most brainwashed -But can work, let's change shit: previous theory was JP and Ed were Neo Shadaloo Reality is JP probably is still simply on the idea to bring forward Shadaloo, with his own style but still good old Shadaloo (Ed's opponents still have classic Shadaloo logo on the mask-boxes) Neo Shadaloo may be Ed's project (involving of course Falke, Knife, Gorilla etc), to leave JP's plan -Considering we will probably get a stage with Ed (probably Germany) would be cool if we are just seeing the first Master vid where he's in MC escaping Shadaloo, and then next one (second, where following WTM scheme we get accepted as disciples) will be we reaching him and his friends in Germany where they made their HQ and hide from JP -The SFV brainwashing part can still make sense Ed distancing himself from JP, but eventually his role as leader of men will fuel the Psycho Power in him and still lead to him lose himself with a worried Falke, just like SFV ending showed us -If this will end up correct the "Uniform Ed" we seen in SFV (even as standard) canon wise may still did'nt happened despite SF6 time-skip SFV events -> White Hoodie Ed Start SF6 -> "Rebel Ed" Escape from JP, form his own group -> Uniform Ed (SFV one) But another possility is that JP made him wear the (SFV) uniform, and "Rebel Ed" is the result of him chosing to break free from JP's plan... but i'm more inclined to believe first scenario, also because even SFV standard Ed uniform does'nt have anywhere Shadaloo symbol (feels the Owl idea came later with SF6) -Interesting part is as we already seen from first artwork even "Rebel Ed" still wear symbols (the owl), wich make me think he's not simply breaking free from any kind of organization, but becoming part of/creating a new one -Is possible Ed did'nt even "rebel" in the sense he worked with/for JP before this teaser... simply possible Ed is still living free since he left Rog/Shadaloo in SFV, and years after JP/Shadaloo is chaising him as valuable piece After all it's same way as when he was taken as kid, because Shadaloo saw potential in him -Maybe Neo Shadaloo HQ is just an hidden place (in Germany?) where Ed and all others can hide from JP/Shadaloo who wish to add them as pieces in his chessboard Some sort of "sanctuary" for former Shadaloo labs victims -Ironically if Bosch is still alive as hinted he would fit well there, if he's still contaminated by Psycho Power -In the teaser Ed is aggressive toward us too, but is clearly first interaction Guess when will learn we fought JP we would win his trust (and maybe get invited to Germany/NS HQ in second Master vid?)

Decent vid If teaser is any indication of how he will fight like in SF6, seems they worked on make him more a "boxing" character Part of me appreciate it, part of me still hope ingame he will keep bastard style involving lot kicks and shit, so Dudley (or at least Rog) will have better chances to be involved as pure boxing rep I think they did good job with his SF6 model, thin pale look works well to differentiate him from Luke
  21. Both Ed and Akuma are getting new stage/WTM location We are going to get 2 stages in S1, only 2 chars left and no stage so far Hope even if we meet him in MC we will still get Germany stage/location for Ed as leaked concept page suggested

Next Ed and Akuma updates will add very little At least they will add 2 new locations/stages/merchant, but i don't expect much from these updates Both will get few side missions, with few new items additions. Not much story progress beside the specific small story addition to make them join whole story (sure Ed will also enrich what we know about JP's organization, but that's about it) I think next BIG expansion will be the start of S2, and so will be for each Season I hope beside story progress (wich will lead to story chapters wich will bring Ken closer to his final revenge on JP), i just want SERIOUS expansion on shops (both cities and regional ones) because the amount of already existing content locked only by devs greed is fucking ridicolous I hope we will also get new tools to enrich character creation, maybe barber shop (there's one in main square already, but we can't interact with it) to unlock new haircuts and maybe tattoo shop to unlock body paints etc stuff like that Also extra gadget slot would be sweet, small addition but giant boost to my potential at create shit But more than everything i pray to get more ways to use created characters, mostly in the way to have them fight main cast (would love option to play regular Arcade mode with it for example, being able to save a "moveset" for a specific model too) I'm curious about Dan gym too lol, really curious to see what time skip done to him lol
