If you're talking about the patch, that went live on consoles on March 1st, Steam on the 9th (based off the internet, I haven't checked for myself recently).

You beat me to this. I was gonna make a GG thread all weekend but never got back to here to do it. I too love the fuck out of GG and would like to play it more than the not at all I currently do. I really want to learn something in addition to SFV (will be tricky with my time available but fuck it). The one big pain in the ass is that GG isn't cross play. I'm PS4 for the record. I still haven't played the game enough to really pick a main but I'm leaning towards Ram.

Daigo's Guile is likely to bring anyone to tears fighting it. I'm only likely to elicit tears of pity. My best hope is that I can Gandhi someone.

The original animated stuff is good, but the manga is the real source material and it's pretty wild. Man, old manga is pretty hardcore. Naked girls everywhere, main characters who are real dicks, and violent in a way you wouldn't expect retro manga to be. For real. I've always been really fascinated with that stuff. Found I think the first chapter of Violence Jack online a few years back and gave it a read. That was a trip.

My friend and I in high school found a theater that was showing Wicked City somehow. We had watched a couple of anime movies at that point like Akira and Vampire Hunter D but we were still new to anime in general. That was one fuck of an eye opener. Watched Devilman Crybaby recently and I liked it a lot. Sort of makes me want to go back and check out some of the original stuff.

Yeah this whole thing actually came about cause my wife wanted to take a trip mid year and her sister has never been to Vegas. So I'm sure they'll be doing stuff and I'll hang out with them periodically. @Akhos Fo sho. I figure once it gets closer to EVO time we can wrangle up everyone who is going and try for a meet up.

Thanks! Right now it's just SFV. That is the only game I have played nearly enough to not feel like I'd be complete clown shoes at. Even then I'll still be well outside my depth but it'll be fun. I'd love to play GG as well but I'm not even at clown shoes level in that game. Just had the though that Cross Tag is gonna be so damn new it may be worth entering in that just to throw bullshit out and see how far I can get. I was debating whether to play or not but the competitor pass and spectator pass are the same price; at that point I figured why not pay $10 so I can say I played SFV at EVO one year.

There was one of those at a con near us a year or so ago and some friends invited us to go. Sadly we already had plans so we couldn't make it. Cosplay burlesque seems like a fucking lock on easy money. Doesn't hurt that the modern game industry is producing waifus at unprecedented rates.

My wife is very pleasantly okay with a strip show, provided it is at least trying to be tasteful. She probably wouldn't be too excited about me dropping bank to fund the show, unless I was able to show sick profits. I'd just need enough Neclords to make it a decent ROI. A Dita show would be awesome to see. That is a helluva lady.

Providing there are any, certainly. Failing that it is Vegas so I'm sure I'll see some boobs somewhere. Hell with enough money I could put together my own lewd cosplay strip show. Hrm.....
