  1. 80% of a Super Guns price is labor.

They are very tedious (but not difficult) to wire up.

If your going for Neo Geo or CPS2 consider a consolidation instead of a Super gun.

A Pico PSU and using an external video processor like the OSSC or XRGB is probbily the easiest way to go.

Full on Superguns are best with boards without interchangeable games or support for a wide number of arcade boards.

  2. Oh yeah, there be a breakout box for modern systems.

I am considering using the new Brooks Mars game pad.

And if that don't pan out, I got a UFB board not being used.

I going to make Modern Systems and PC Engine Boxes first, then A Sega Genesis Breakout box.

Also if I can, make a MC Cthulhu breakout box.

Can you blame them though? The consumers told NRS that they loved the guest characters by spending the most money on them in MKX. It only made sense for them to continue the trend in Injustice 2.

There is guess characters and then their Injustice 2, the MUGEN of consoles

I am waiting till NRS does a cross promotion with Arc sys and Togo and Put Goku in there

  4. I am happy with my current PC engine setup of PC Duo + Turbo Everdrive, and I have an Arcade Duo Card.

PC Engine CD games aren't hard to burn. Although I wished more games got the English Language Translation Treatment.

Also I got some Stick modding projects in the future. I going to gut the innerds of one of my Custom sticks, convert it to go off Neo Geo + Pinout, and just use project boxes for various systems.

  6. Here the inside of my PC Duo

I had accidentally pulled the solder pads for the CD activity LED.

I had the Replacement LED leads a lit long on purpose to preposition the Light, and moving the LED caused the pads to lift. Hence you see the repairs made with kynar wire to reroute the LED.

Here is the Power LED in action

The Red gets washed up more in Photos than in person, but here is the Blue CD drive indicator light in action.

  7. Just got around to putting a Power LED into my PC Duo.

I mounted the LED the frosted window the CD drive activity light is also located.

I made the Power LED Red, and swap out the CD Light got swapped out for Blue, otherwise the two LEDs would blend together.

I felt the Blue LED was too bright, so I added a 75 ohm resistor to lower the brightness.

The RED Power LED has a 470 ohm resistor and takes power from one of two 7805A voltage regulators.

In hindsight 470 ohms was too much resistance for the Red LED as the Blue LED still overpowers slightly

Also, Why Blue LEDs are so fricking bright compared to Red?

I've plugged my friend's 1070 in now - everything works.

    ... When's GTX 2080 coming...

When MCV I 2 comes out . Joking.

My current 1080 is the first Nvidia card I bough in a decade.

I got tired of waiting for AMD to unfuck themselves with the Vega launch.

And now GPU prices are, well they are straight up highway robbery because of shit-head bit coin miners.

Getting a Graphics card or any PC part at MSRP shouldn't be a challenge, it should be the default.
