Cyberpunk seems much more of a statistics based RPG than a regular shooter, so playing on hard makes the statistics part more prominent, and enemies take a lot of hits to die like you'd have to stab someone a lot in Final Fantasy to kill him.

True, but I guess they didn't want to give up on the 160 million potential buyers who own an old gen console, especially since the user base for the new consoles is small at the moment. They were going for the big bucks and they weren't going to make those big bucks without old consoles.

Gotta love the sudden turnabout you see from people about CDPR over the internet. In fact, you can now see people saying The Witcher 3 was really shit all along. It's a shame, 'cuz the game beneath all the bugs and when it's not running on last gen consoles is clearly pretty good. Then again CDPR had the time and the opportunities to make the game work on PS4. Someone in higher management clearly fucked up big time.

Rufus and Dan are cool tho. Twelve too has some stuff going for him, his animations in Third Strike were pretty cool, shame you'll never see them since he's total garbage tier wise.

Basically the rising sun flag was the military flag of the Imperial Japanese Army and Navy in WW2 and before, and therefore countries in East Asia that aren't Japan associate that flag and symbol with Japanese imperialism and atrocities during WW2. The South Korean government in particular likes to throw a fuss over this sort of stuff while Japan likes to downplay it, so diplomatic accidents happen relatively often between the two countries. Korea in particular has a longer history with Japan than just WW2 since the country had been annexed as early as 1910. It's mostly an issue between Japan, Korea and China rather than South-East Asia actually. I guess Capcom is just being cautious over this sort of stuff and prefers to avoid anything that might have real-life political connections nowadays.

What? They removed the Rising Sun symbol? I don't think that's new and that's just in line with some other slight alterations Capcom has made to SFII in its latest re-releases, like removing the Hammer & Sickle from Zangief's stage, or altering the logo on Guile's stage to make it completely fictional.

I finally finished Assassin's Creed Odyssey just in time for Cyberpunk, my expectations for the game is to be kinda like Odyssey except, you know, good rather than just very large. Also, Cyberpunk has a boob slider, making it automatically a good game.

As someone who still goes to SRK because I started following the election thread before the migration, Trumpers are really no different, they just do it to election officials nowadays while their politicians play along to not antagonize their rabid voters. If anything, the most ironic thing of all of this is that ResetEra is both acting as cultish-ly as the Trumpers, and they're also behaving like the stereotype of the radical left boogeyman that you see Republican use. If Trump has anyone to thank for his victory in 2016 it's useful idiots like the morons at ResetEra giving legitimacy to the right's rhetoric. Enough politics now though.

The impression I have with ResetEra, having looked at it a few times and then through some Twitter account made for the purpose of showing the forums' "highlights", is that potentially the majority of the people there don't actually share the party line at all but choose to remain silent because they know they'd get banned instantly and I guess they're just there to discuss games. It's something I guessed by looking at the polls they have there, because moderators may police even the slightest joke but can't moderate anonymous votes. For example: There was this poll on Cammy's character design that was posted either here or on SRK that was something like "Should Cammy's very sexist and ass-tastic leotard costume be changed for the sake of the children and social justice?" Results: 33% voted "Yes, we need to think of the children" 66% voted "Nah, Cammy's fine as she is (and implicitly I declare to like ass)" 1% voted "I guess she should show just a little ass" I'm paraphrasing by the way. Then people got pissed at the result of the poll and deleted it, leaving only the discussion. Again: there was this other poll about "Which open world games will you buy in November?". Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the possible 5 choices plus a None one. Now, ResetEra has been waging war against CDPR and Cyberpunk for as far as one can remember. The reason is that back in 2018 the Cyberpunk Twitter made a "did you assume his gender" joke, for that CDPR fired the guy that was handling their Twitter but ResetEra didn't feel like this was quite enough, they mostly didn't like the phrasing of the apology, that "we're sorry you felt offended" wasn't humble enough or something. Then the in-game ad with the chick with a huge bulge shows up and ResetEra took that about as well as the Americans took the attack on Pearl Harbour. Since then ResetEra has officially labelled Cyberpunk as an extremely transphobic game, and CDPR with it, and they frequently get pissed at people talking about the game "without pointing out the problematic aspects and transphobic developers". Anyway, back on the poll. So, which game was the most awaited by the people at ResetEra? And then they got pissed at the results again. Now the forums are in complete civil war over Cyberpunk's imminent release, with the loud minority angry at the fact that the mods are allowing discussion on the game without even more acknowledging of whatever imaginary issue they have with it (some even asking for a complete ban of all discussion on Cyberpunk from the forums), the mods seemingly on damage control as they're probably unwilling to ban one of the most discussed games on the forums but they can't show it because that'd be violating the party line, and the majority of the users likely not giving a shit at all and just wanting to talk about the game and buying it. The comparisons to North Korea are so deserved it's painful.

Actually SFI was supposedly pretty popular and successful back when it was released. Successful enough to make Capcom make two sequels, first Final Fight which became its own thing, and then SFII. The fact that people looked at SFI back in in 1987 and thought "Yeah, this is a good game!" should tell you something about why SFII is considered to have single-handedly birthed the genre. So wait, this guy was an actual kid for real, chat wasn't just making jokes? In case you want to know, there was an Italian beginners tournament today that I ended up watching, and this kid ended up in Grand Finals on winners' side, obviously playing Seth (so young and they already pick a top tier). He was playing against this female Sakura player that he sent to losers earlier in Winners' Final. Even though it was Gold rank matches it was super fun to watch, and it ended after a reset and going to final round with the score at 2-2. And for the whole time I thought people were calling him a kid as some kind of joke I wasn't aware of. I'll leave the VOD so you people can watch if you want, grand final is at 02:52:18
