  1. Well sure.... I watched American Idol for some seasons...but for some probably obvious reasons: 1. FINE ass girls on there every season... and I had a thing for Paula Abdul for many years....then in later years they had Jennifer Lopez on there; another legend....then Carla Diaguardi, however ya spell that. There is smoking hot ass on every season. 2. The bad singers and performers -- this provided comedic gold for years, man....besides the performances themselves, an extra layer of hilarity was in the reactions of the judges... it especially cracked me up when Randy Jackson would get this scowl on his face like he's truly disgusted by what he's hearing....like "how dare you come in here sounding like that..." Then there would be other times when he's holding up a sheet of paper over his face struggling not to laugh at someone. That shit was gold, man. I watched some of the first season of The Voice only because Christina Aguilera was on there... but that wasn't quite enough to keep me watching though....there was also a lot of other stuff on tv at that time so I never came back to that one.
  2. VAMPYR--- heh, sheeeeeit, so the bloodlust was just too strong to resist... just fed on and killed a priest, man.... I got 5,000 exp for that bastard....hell yeah, man. I'm level 29 now....sadly it appears I'm close to the end though. Yeah my version of "Dr. Reid" is pretty damn godlike at this point, though certain enemy combinations can still be a tough fight. Quick advise on powers/abilities--- don't get "Blood Barrier"...maybe it's better fully leveled up but the level 1 version of this is so lame it's definitely not worth the points....it last for 5 seconds but only blocks 1 hit.
  3. damn this is an unfortunate dilemma.... so Almighty Tevin has another stream going of Phil's stream, so we can all laugh at him once again live.... but Phil happens to be playing my game Vampyr right now...and he's further in the game that I am. Sooooo of course I'd like to watch this but not at the cost of being spoiled for that game. On another note---the latest from the cleaning lady at work--she said she found a condom once again on the 2nd floor. haha we have such "interesting" people on that 2nd floor, man.
  4. Unfortunately, but understandably... the trailer for Gears 5 spoiled a little of what happened at the end of 4. I found out from my friend that's always slow as Christmas about playing thru games that he did NOT watch that trailer, fortunately.... but he's STILL dragging his feet on that....well that's what he gets for being the "family man" like so many SF2 characters on the lose screen. This is the same friend that still hasn't finished the story of Diablo 3! D3 is actually 6 years old at this point, man....and of course he never took a character to level 70 either....he loves Destiny but probably never finished that either. Actually I don't recall him finishing any recent games despite owning them.... he never got to the end of Borderlands Pre-Sequel either, among other things. Anyway, that final scene in Gears 4 was quite the jaw dropper now that I'm remembering it again....and the other scene a little before that was an emotional one.....still not on the level of Dom finding his wife in part 2 though... that's still the saddest shit I've ever seen in a game, man. They really went for the emotional punch to the gut there.....everything appears to be all find and dandy when he finds her....then you realize things are definitely NOT fine at all.... and of course Dom was never the same after that.
  5. ^I had a love/hate relationship with (modern) Ninja Gaiden 2... never had the Sigma versions; just the original on 360.... it was fun, but at a certain point the game just becomes a straight up asshole about everything...sometimes it got past the point of gamer-rage inducing moments...and the level of bullshit was just hilarious. On the normal "Warrior" difficulty setting it was more than reasonable though. Vampyr-- well, I made it to a point in the story where I could have turned someone....for various reasons I chose to just kill that person....ohoooo the way that played out was awesome...and satisfying. The consequences of this decision have been severe to say the least though...shit has seriously hit the fan over that. ....on my way back to Pembroke Hospital, I ran into a certain citizen that has been "missing" for a long time; and they were turned! There was no more discussion that could be had... I had no choice but to fight and eventually kill them.
  6. Cassidy Freeman; the character "Lady Ashbury" in Vampyr reminds me so much of her....oooh lawd yes I'd eat. Redheads for life, folks... 😳 She was formerly "Tess" from Smallville, and later appeared as a vamp on Vampire Diaries, if I recall.
  7. that damn "Lady Ashbury" from Vampyr is hot as HELL, man... it just hit me that she reminds me of Cassidy Freeman, who was "Tess" from Smallville. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2336905/ *if she could mimic a Brit accent, she would be perfect for the part in a live-action Vampyr, imo. *I'm still playing Wizard of Legend at work on a regular basis, though that game kicks my ass every single time... but finally I'm getting somewhere, since I've been trying out different spells....fishing around for whatever is top tier material, of course.
  8. Bloodstained looks interesting, but I really wish the gameplay was at a faster pace... every time I see it...it's like the characters and the action is kinda in slow motion. It would be great if they put a bit more into the action there; even if it doesn't have big combos like a "stylish action" game.... I supposed we've been spoiled at this point---most things look like slow-motion gameplay when you've experienced the DMC, Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden franchises....and WHOAH it just hit me--- imagine a new STRIDER, produced in a similar style as Bayo or DMC?! BRUH. That's GOLD, man. Sadly the people that hold the IP hostage probably cannot see the greatness (and likely decent/good sales) that would be. *I might start my 2nd file of Vampyr sooner rather than later... there is a strong temptation to play as a more ruthless version of Dr. Reid. The thing is, I imagine that would be generally much easier, since killing the citizens gives wayyyy more exp than anything else in the game...even completing a quest might give a few hundred points or so---but you can get thousands exp per citizen you feed on..... they really made it into an interesting dilemma there...because the more you kill, the worse the area becomes, and it locks out certain parts of story of course since that person is now dead, and their death would naturally affect the people in that social circle. yeah, I've become quite obsessed with this game... I've even been taking notes of pretty much everything that happens in terms of the lore and storylines. I'm up to 28 hours played so far; still in chapter 4 (*I think earlier I may have mentioned I was on 5 which was incorrect) ah, these guys have an interesting vid on the game:
  9. ohooooo thanks for this GOLD. I downloaded it IMMEDIATELY. this girl, dammit...god fuckin DAMN😳
  10. VAMPYR... No specific story-stuff since that's obviously getting into heavy spoiler territory, but it keeps getting better the further I go in this... my total play-time is about 22 hours at this point.... 1 territory..."Whitechapel"....it has already descended into "Hostile" status, though oddly enough it still shows up that various people are still living in there, as if they are still accessible to me; I assumed they'd all show up as "LOST" or something when that happens to an area. It will be interesting to see what's going on over there when I return. One thing I didn't mention earlier-- in addition to leveling up the "Dr. Reid" character, the weapons are also something to level up. Currently my main melee and gun weapons are level 3. On top of just getting stronger there's 1 of 2 perks to pick on each level-up from what I'm seeing so far... it looks like the choice is typically going to be "consumes less stamina" or "further damage increase" (this is on top of the damage increase from just leveling it up)...oh but there's also a perk related to stealing blood as well. The short sword I use (the pre-order bonus one) does that. I had to fight a fellow vamp recently that wasn't even a boss or major story character...dude was just a "regular" enemy but tough as hell, man... I was level 20 but he was level 28....it was fortunate that he's in an area with some structure in the middle so I kept running around there in a circle, avoiding him and using some cheap hit/run tactics.... the guy was doing ridiculous damage. The fight went on long enough for me to do 2 ultimate attacks (they have a long cool-down; I currently have the "Beast Within" one) and run around in a circle for quite a long time.
  11. Ok, overall I enjoyed the action and cool visuals of Thor Ragnarok...and the gorgeous Cate Blanchett and that other hot girl that was the Valkyrie....it doesn't exactly hit "legendary" status with me, but it was alright. sheeeit, regarding He-man---that is a tragically underappreciated, undeveloped IP there. Imagine how awesome a new animated show would be, if done by the right people of course....and preferably NOT airing on Cartoon Network since they love to fuck anything over that isn't that Teen Titans Go "cute" chibi-style shit that is aimed at the 4 - 7 year old demographic. If it were my choice I'd go for a Netflix deal on that. On another note----- Chris Hardwick is the latest metoo casualty
  12. haha the mouths on these characters on the new show they keep showing a commercial for.... look like a tiny pair of testicles that jiggle each time they speak. It gets a cheap laugh out of me every time. My Hero Academia---haha the main character's superhero costume looks so damn ridiculous... *that girl with the spiky hair in a pony tail is hot as HELL.
  13. sheeeeit, currently watching Thor Ragnarok on netflix.... Cate Blanchett dressed up as Hela....holy SHIT that is some PRIME TIME Cougar hotness right there. She could dominate me anytime, any place 😳
  14. Rhykker shows off 2 classes in the Warhammer Inquisitor game^... psiker is definitely jumping out at me as the more interesting one. Also, apparently this will show up on console later..? If that holds true then I'll wait on that. If I would've known that Diablo 3 was eventually going to the consoles, there's no way I would've bought the pc version. *on another note... yes yes my adventures in Vampyr shall continue... besides Dad being here, one reason I took a short break was the huge plot point that happened...best to let moments like that sit with you for a while before moving on, imo. Yeah that was a big one, I'm also curious about how differently things play out depending on your choices...there's a LOT of points in that game where the player's choice alters the course of what's going to happen later... in dialogue options with every character, there's some points with the game's red "Y" symbol that strongly indicates that things can change drastically depending on what you do or say right there.
  15. Currently watching the latest video Tev did on what's going on with Dsp lately... someone actually tipped Phil $300 during a stream... I don't really get the point of donating/tipping these people in the first place (*because what are you getting out of it? Sure there's some online "personalities" I enjoy watching...normally of the hot girl variety...but what would I gain from donating even 1 penny to them? Not a damn thing.) --- but once again I'm thinking--of all people....THAT GUY? And.... 300 fucking dollars? As Seinfield might say--WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?! What is wrong with them? I keep wondering what their "story" is, y'know..? Perhaps they are kids that are dipping into Mommy or Daddy's credit card..? (*or a working person that is so well off he/she can afford to throw 300 bucks out there like it's nothing; which is still stupid, imo even if you can afford it... I keep thinking about all the other things one could do with 300 dollars; that's a new game system, that could be your bills, perhaps a car payment, some good times at a strip club, etc. etc.) If that's the case, it would be hilarious to see Mommy/Daddy's reaction once they found out about it. *edit--also, it keeps cracking me up whenever he refers to what he does as "work" 😆
  16. Gears 4--- and just like that, done... I got Sniper and Soldier classes to 10. The exp bonus is so good... Soldier was at level 1 when I started, and it only took 2 or 3 sessions to level up to 10.
  17. wooooooo yes one of my old favorite Foxes Martha MacCallum is on FoxNews right now... girl is absolutely legendary....the salad would get SO tossed, no question. She is one of the best blondes I've ever seen. sheeeit, speaking of that... I haven't really analyzed my rankings according to that category...just off the top of my head.. Blondes (*whether or not they are genuine blonde doesn't matter to me): Allison Mack, Martha MacCallum, Trish Goddamn Stratus, Tomi Lahren, Stacey Keibler (Legend status), The Classic Legend Jenny McCarthy, and my honey Elisabeth Banks....very underrated. Also---from back in the day--Elisabeth Shue, and Christina Applegate, Nicole Eggert (her ass was the real star of Baywatch!)....and 90s-era Pamela Goddamn Anderson....and Shannon Tweed. Generally speaking, when it comes to the white meat I tend to prefer the redheads though; I may drop a quick list of those later, but the current champion of that category is my baby Emily Beecham, who plays "Widow" on Into the Badlands. The other major one that comes to mind right away is Jessica Chastain, then Holland Roden (RIDICULOUS redhead from the MTV Teen Wolf show) damn I want to play some more Vampyr at the moment... but I'm probably about 10 minutes away from slipping into Dreamland....this is despite having a decent amount of sleep last night.
  18. yep--- it's super easy now... and I've just been playing Horde on Normal difficulty! Early this morning I got in another full session of Horde; 1 to 50... yeah, a team of randoms that actually were in it for the long haul! It was a breeze because the 3 of us were playing our roles perfectly....yeah there was only 3 people... the other 2 dropped out early of course (ha, if only they knew how much exp they missed out on since we went all the way.) I was Engineer, there was someone playing a Scout, and the third person was on Sniper. I did my usual routine of making sure we had a healthy amount of sentries posted in strategic positions. Towards the end everything except the weapons lockers were fully upgraded to level 4...it was beautiful. I even got a Shock Sentry posted up too; never usually got those before. Four sentries posted behind red laser wires...THEN I had a turret posted behind that (this was on "Raven Down", btw)...then I had "back-up" sentries behind this front defensive line....so anything (like the flying "Guardian" bots) getting past the front line still gets lit up by the sentries in the back. This defensive setup was fuckin GOLD. So---I now have Engineer at level 10, along with my level 10 Scout and Heavy! Sheeeeit, this bonus exp is so good I may as well get the other 2 classes to level 10 as well.
  19. haha that Jump Force game.... another one where we have to pretend like Goku would actually have trouble with whoever else he is fighting in there.... and I'll bet Ichigo isn't there, since apparently the rest of the world likes to just pretend like Bleach wasn't hot for a while. Gears 4 - as expected with this 5x boost going on... I played just 1 short session of Horde and now my Scout is level 10 as well.... later tonight I'll level Engineer to 10; he's already at 9 with half the progress remaining to 10.... maybe I'll actually get all of them to 10 while this glorious 5x Exp is in effect.
  20. well... I'm guessing that other forum will never improve. I keep going back but it's only for the general video games/E3 threads....such a damn downgrade over there; it's like if your PS4 Pro got magically transformed into an Atari 5200....not the 2600 or 7800 most people might remember.....the goddamn 5200. It's that bad....that much of a drop in quality. On another note....Gears 4 has a 5x EXP boost going on this week...in celebration of their Gears 5 announcement, of course. Hell YES. I did just one session of Horde and my Heavy character went from a fresh level 8 right up to 10! Yeah, the leveling is normally so unbearably slow that this was actually a surprise to go up the last 2 levels that fast....it wasn't even a full run..everyone quit by wave 30. It should be easy to get my Scout and Engineers to 10 then. My old friend needs to hurry the hell up and finish the story; I told him the trailer was out for part 5 as of today, but then remembered and had to tell him that it of course includes a mild spoiler for part 4.
  21. today's dose of my baby Camila Mendes.... lawd have mercy 😳
  22. heh, I have a certain friend who really wanted to do the live-streaming thing as a living.... but for some reason I think laziness (*admittedly that's just my speculation; could be wrong) took over and he never kept at it. This is actually good because he probably never would have become a success at it. At most it would be like 2 or 3 people tuning in.....haha and of course 1 of that 2 or 3-person audience would be me. Good thing for me is that he would likely have tried to get me to be a chat-mod or something if he did manage to get a real audience, and I don't really have the time or interest in doing that. It is strange that he stopped though, since he had the perfect schedule to do the whole game-streaming thing... barely any hours at his actual job at the time, so he was home and online literally every day for most of the day. but sheeeeeit, if Twitch was around back when I was in high school or early college years I definitely would've tried it too. I'm guessing my show would be mildly successful, actually....as I'd go for more of a "raw", shock-jock sort of thing.... basically being the gaming persona equivalent of a Howard Stern or Tom Leykis.
  23. plenty of other games with online modes manage to still have offline capability just fine. ....and now Todd just revealed that the new Fallout is all online too. Yeah if the whole industry goes this direction then I'm done with this shit. Fuck it all to hell forever... I'll still have my older games from back when companies had some goddamn sense and weren't trying to maintain absolute control over the shit and weren't trying to make gaming into a "service" instead of a product. How long 'til Nintendo gets in on it too..? SUPER MARIO BROS. NEW AGE ADVENTURES [online-only] <--yeah these companies need to get the fuck outta here with this kind of nonsense. BAYONETTA 4 [online-required] <- fuck it all to hell. May this entire industry crash and burn as hard as possible if they push it in this direction.
  24. ah, exactly what I was fearing with Anthem... no offline... so more than likely, that probably just killed my interest right there. Most other gamers at this point are ok with this shit but it just never sits right with me, man... anytime it's online only, that means you don't *really* have that shit. There will come a day in the near future where you CANNOT play it anymore, so it's really just an extended rental. I like the simple notion that I can play the damn game I have at some point 10 years from now if I want. This is one of the things that turned me off from Destiny (besides, Division also didn't have enough wild supernatural/sci-fi shit for my tastes..."Regular People Shooting Each Other" will always be incredibly boring for games, imo), actually.....AND The Division. There's no words to fully convey how much it irritates me that this bullshit is becoming the goddamn "new normal" in this shit-headed industry. Yeah I'm absolutely in grumpy old man mode here...fuck all that stupid horseshit, man. If the very concept itself was a person, I'd have no problems skinning that son of a bitch alive and stabbing its eyes out. How long until shit like a newly updated PACMAN is "Online-Only"? FUCK that fucking retarded bullfucking shit, man. "Tetris: 2024 Deluxe Edition [online-required] "Devil May Cry [online-required]" FUCK THAT.
  25. Interesting... Wolverine's claws heat up now? (*they actually get to it at about 4:45 in the vid)
