  1. sheeeeeit, the hype was ridiculous, man. At least for me, This final era of DB Super brought the franchise back to what I enjoyed most about regular DBZ--- insanely overpowered characters fighting each other with attacks that are strong enough to easily wipe out planets and galaxies....no more, no less.
  2. ohhhhh looks like I found another online gaming personality to laugh at and keep tabs on... I just found this vid about a dude going by the name Wings of Redemption... oh the level of toxicity in this one is strong. ...and there's another vid... oh yeah I've got another fascinating train wreck to keep tabs on. Funny thing is...this is yet another one that reminds me of a certain old friend... toxic all damn day like it's going out of style...then probably wondered why an extremely small # of people ever played anything with him.
  3. ohoooo shit I just noticed RARE made Sea of Thieves apparently... once again, MS....how's that decision to purchase that company working out for ya these days? Really, bruh... game looks like one of those EGM April Fools jokes. It's also amusing to me that they have to lean extra hard on this shit, because they either missed out on so many exclusives or just straight up cancelled the other things. Another layer of the comedy here is that this era could've been much, much worse if they went ahead with the original X1 plan from that disastrous E3 initial showing.
  4. nah, in the gameplay footage I've seen, VAMPYR is looking good so far...it's your average action 3rd person view combat, which is good enough, imo. The theme and concept of the game is the real selling point for me. It also looks like they got the general vampire lore "correct" in this game. I've been wanting even a halfway decent vampire game for many years now. Sheeeeit, I've wanted a cool vampire game to play ever since I was a little kid. Skyrim has been the only good thing on that front in recent years. The big one people bring up is Vampire the Masquerade, but that shit is from way back in 2004 (*and only on PC... I definitely wasn't caring about PC gaming back then). Other than that I had Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain back in the original Playstation days, but that's about it.
  5. I also check on Anne Munition's youtube channel occasionally, though she is more of a Twitch streamer. *also--GameXplain and occasionally AngryJoeShow. There is some channel about mythological creatures and characters... ah I remember-- Overly Sarcastic Productions.... there's vids on some other things but I just like their quick summations or explanations of random mythology/folklore-related things. Almighty Tevin's latest DSP report/commentary (*damn that thumbnail though....he looks like a homeless guy in that pic ) : *edit again--- Double Toasted going in on the Super Mario Bros. movie!
  6. y'know, it did manage to catch my attention recently....and yes it's because they've fixed that unfortunate turn-based "condition" the first one was afflicted with. It does have a nice look/style to it, so it is possible I may give it a shot one day soon.... ..but that is if I could ever tear myself away from the great Bayonetta 1 & 2 combo though. That has been all I've played since it hit Switch a few weeks ago.... quick thing--- definitely hit the vidcap/record feature whenever you fight Grace & Glory...unless of course that duo consistently kicks your ass... but man... anytime you fight them successfully, taking few or no hits at all... it always looks like some pro-level combo-vid shit. I absolutely love it. That's the fascinating thing with Bayonetta, imo.... I don't think it takes that much for the player to look godlike in that game....but that's definitely not to say that the game takes it easy on ya, especially with the Grace/Glory fights. Easy to do cool-looking, godlike skillful shit....yet still has difficulty.... It's a contradiction that people probably only understand when they play it for themselves. (edit--it would be nice if Switch's vidcapture had the same deeper level of options the X1 has; on Switch you can only record the last 30 seconds) then there's Y's Lacrima or whatever it's called coming soon...then it won't be long until VAMPYR (*June 5; words can't even describe my hype levels of THAT shit)!!!!
  7. ohhh and I almost forgot-- I did see Ashley Mova on either StreamTv or Afterbuzz...whichever of those had an after-show for Pretty Little Liars. I forgot she was a regular over there along with Sinead. One of those 2 channels also had the best after-show for The Flash... but sadly they dumped the original on-air talent, and it was never as good anymore...to the point where I gave up on watching that. Other stuff I forgot earlier: Geekdom 101... I only recently started checking out this dude's channel for his commentary on Dragonball Super. John Campea - a former Collider Channel guy with his own movie/tv talk channel. SethTheProgrammer -- 'cause those dudes take the power-scaling discussions to the extreme...they go deep into the theoretical "this character beats that character's ass.." battles over there, with funny commentary. They occasionally do vids on the Deathbattle stuff too....usually when they think the results were bullshit or at least questionable. Maude Garrett's Geekbomb--I think that's the name of it... yep, you guessed it... I mostly watch this because I think she's quite adorable. I'd pounce without question. (another irresistible accent)
  8. Nah, Emma is quite adorable to me, despite her having quite the motor-mouth... she has sooo much energy to talk and talk and talk forever... but that nerdy-girl appeal is strong in that one. annnnd yeah I forgot to mention Rocha; he definitely has become an annoying factor of the channel, because he seems to inject race and gender politics into at least 90% of his commentary. Diversity this, female empowerment that... y'know, when it comes to movies and tv, I only care that the end product is GOOD. I'd bet most people in the country are probably on the same page. Did a GOOD director work behind that scenes? Did they get the truly best people cast in the parts? That should take priority over fulfilling any kind of checklist or quota. I also miss the older structure of Movie Talk, where they had the sidebar up on the screen so you know the general layout of what's going to be discussed on each episode.
  9. cheh, I am surprised this Sea of Thieves game has any kind of buzz or apparent success going on... I was thinking surely it would bomb harder than Wrinkle in Time, man... every time I saw any kind of preview clips it looked like pure unwiped asscrack. The graphics do appear to be a bit better now at least, but I'll still pass on that nonsense. haha I'll bet a certain friend bought that shit... dude has always had highly questionable taste in everything (he's one of the people that tried to sell me on "Dead Block" a few years ago...one of the most atrocious-looking Live Arcade games in the 360's history.... I still remember looking up footage of that game on youtube and laughing hysterically for a LONG ass time at how awful it looked.)
  10. oh yeah and there's Andrea Rosu; her channel used to be simply called "P.A.W.G."--"Pretty Astonishing Workout Gains". Andrea can also be seen very naked on some other sites... I did plenty of thorough research on her....yes yes I forgot what her channel is called now... it's been several days since I've seen a new vid... ..and thank goodness for the various ways we have to save youtube vids in recent years. Ohhhh my collection is so legendary. Meanwhile in Bayo 2 on Switch-- I finally went and finished the story earlier today...so now I have my other honey Jeanne to play with as well.
  11. yeah, I've been watching youtube way more than regular television for probably the past 2 years or so at least... funny how that's changed---there was a time when the average person turns on the tv first thing when they get home.. now, the first thing I go to when I get home is my computer, going straight to youtube to see updates on my subscribed channels... here's just a small bit of what I check regularly: Collider Channel- this is about movies... previously it was movies+tv discussion but sadly they dumped the "TV Talk" since it wasn't getting good views like other stuff on the channel....also, it once featured INSANELY hot/cute girls like legendary ASHLEY GODDAMN MOVA (perfection), and Sinead DeVries... and Grace Hancock (*aka "Heather Grace Hancock"---legend status redhead hotness), Natasha Martinez, "Classy" Clark Wolfe (*yep, a girl named "Clark"), etc. The lineup of hotness over there was astounding. Sadly they've dropped some of the hottest girls for some reason. Sinead and Clarke are still there though...and some other miscellaneous cuties like Perri Nemiroff and Emma Fyffe (*super "nerdy girl" appeal on that one). Despite the significant reduction in their eye-candy lineup, I still watch their shows. Other stuff: The DSP reports--- you guys are of course aware that I like to keep tabs on the ongoing saga that is anything pertaining to our good ol' pal Phil. My favorite "correspondents" are Almighty Tevin, Snort Burnell and GTG (Golden Triangle Gaming)...they've done the best job picking up the slack since the Sons of Kojima went kaput. There's a few others in that category I check as well. Double Toasted - these dudes are consistently hilarious to me; anytime they have a review of something or just commentary on some crazy shit that was in the news, I click that link SO fast. Regular gaming stuff--- Gameranx, Claire Siohban (gorgeous) The Know (2-pack of GORGEOUS = Ashley Jenkins and Mica Barton Delicious.), and on some occasions IGN (Alanah Pearce = another delicious one to watch...and the Aussie accent she has is irresistible.), and SwitchForce, and Team Spooky. Various ASMR stuff-- especially that "Bohemian ASMR" girl...one of the hottest girls I've *ever* seen in life; seriously. Stuff I usually disagree with, so I watch it for laughs --- Young Turks (*partially because I've been smitten by the lovely, wonderful Ana Kasparian since day 1) and Think Tank (*partially because Hannah and Brooke are cute/hot) and Pop Trigger (*Hot Chocolate Brooke from Think Tank is also on this channel) .,...and Boyce Watkins (aka "Moist Twatkins" as some folks call him ) Random TnA/workout vids--- Various "Bikini/Lingerie/Gym Wear/etc. Try-On" vids-- because most of the girls doing these vids as 99% of their channel content are hot as HELL...and it's usually an excuse to show their bodies half naked on the net, basically...exhibitionist tendencies.... and I love 'em for it. --- quick recommendations --- Vanessa Blanco (the body is insane) Rocio Laura Nicki Andrea Emmybre Cabria A. (booty is RIDICULOUS...and she has no problem showing it off.) Vicki Justiz - (Miami fitness model; one of the absolute hottest women I've ever seen in life.) Victoria Kay - another fitness model. Morgan Taylor -haha; kept tabs on this one for years. Yes, I probably have at least 1000+ subscriptions.
  12. heh, I saw another vid on social media the other day talking about the "myth" of the absentee black father... yeah ok... as if that's a stereotype that has no basis in reality? Ohhhh that's hilarious that we're supposed to pretend like that's not a thing This week is taking entirely too damn long... it's ONLY Wednesday... Sunday seems like it was a few years ago. Part of the issue may be that I have a few trillion things to do at work lately... *edit---ohhhhh this is too good... just when I was trying to go to sleep, I found out about some of the dirt behind the scenes at Boyce Watkins' channel... apparently Yarima is no longer there because they allegendly kept NOT paying him..?? He rants about it a bit around the midpoint of this vid... *THEN in related vids I see something about Yvette Carnell's issues with Boyce! annnnd it's the same deal---she's also saying she wasn't getting paid and had to hunt him down for money!!! Ohoooo this gon' be gooood.... *MJ popcorn gif*
  13. sheeeeit, I love that the "Riders of the Light" theme plays when you see Grace & Glory again in Bayo 2... and those particular enemies keep the player on their toes every second, basically... you can't afford to take it easy on those guys... I think this track musically captures the insane "stylish action" you get in these games, especially against those dudes...
  14. Well it's currently better-looking than a certain other spot... *I found some old yearbooks while going through some of my stuff... oh yeah, there's definitely some internet "research" to be done now... there was so many hot girls I remember from the college days it was insane....one of the reasons I loved those years so much... sadly I've already discovered that one old cutie I remember is now the wife of a minister...and she already dresses up like some 70-year old church lady on another note--- the Fine Game Girls channel finally got around to doing a vid about Sorceress from Dragon's Crown
  15. ...if only I could go back in time, man... thinking about those figures again; it's a sad thing that as a kid, you don't realize that the shit just won't be available later on, and eventually you take those precious action figures/figurines for granted....and they all go away at some point...and most probably hit that point where we don't play with them anymore, or even look at them anymore... Mom and/or Dad then ask if it's ok to give them away and you're foolishly cool with that decision. Besides the MUSCLE figures, I also at least have some Legos, 1 Transformer (yep, just the one... Blitzkrieg the triple-changer) and some Army Ants....I still have quite a few of those, actually.,,,they were a quick flash in the pan that most people probably forgot about a long time ago.... this vid also features the Battle Beasts I don't think Army Ants even had a show... one of those toy lines that was JUST toys... same for Battle Beasts... I remember the toys and the commercial, but there was no show for it. Heh, "Wood! Fire! Fire beats wood!" On another note--- The Originals is back for the final season on April 20.... I'll definitely miss it
  16. today's dose of the incredible Camila Mendes
  17. I'm still recovering from how awesome #130 was... the animation and overall presentation was cool... funny thing was that I saw major spoilers just in my search for the episode...there were folks posting clips with descriptions of things that happened in the title of the clip.
  18. The Sectaurs cartoon was kinda lame though, compared to the other shows of the era.... it was a great concept but the show itself just wasn't executed well.... Visionaries had the same problem; first episode was a bit on the boring side. In both cases, I think the toys and general concept was way better... the animated shows were the weak link in those franchises, sadly.... at least the Visionaries cartoon had a memorable intro theme though. "Visionaries, knights of the magical light...Visionaries, with magical powers they fight! Powers of light can change steel and steed.."-- heh that is still cemented in my memory after all these years. Regarding MUSCLE again--- I'm sure younger generations remember more clearly that there was a cartoon later on called "Ultimate MUSCLE" which aired on Saturday mornings....it wasn't that long ago, actually...late 90s or early 2000s. There was also the Ultimate MUSCLE wrestling game on Gamecube... it was the most fun wrestling game I've ever played, actually (the gameplay was more like a straight up fighting game instead of what one would expect out of a "wrestling" game)....and the character creation was decent.
  19. oh yeah Optimus Prime was my 3rd Transformer if I recall.... first one was Prowl, which was a Porsche police car... then I got Jazz after that. I think Prime was a birthday present. and yeah I already subscribed to that channel.... today was the first I've seen it. Thanks to him I also found out about "Super 7" which has some cool "other" M.U.S.C.L.E. figures... like Aliens, Masters of the Universe, Megaman and other franchises done in that style...an absolutely. brilliant idea there.
  20. cheh, It's still an odd thing that Sectaurs never caught on like it should have....yeah all this time later I still can't get over that... look at how awesome the figures and general concept was: ..a real shame that like so many other kids getting older at the time... I eventually let Mom give away most of my action figure collection.... I'd go back in time to get that and my old Starcom stuff back. (*this dude's channel goes over Starcom as well....and Silverhawks, Jayce & the Wheeled Warriors, etc.) edit---ohoooo he has a vid on the M.U.S.C.L.E. figures too! Sheeeeeit, I had a ton of those... of course I was quite the spoiled kid back in the day... mom started me off with one of the big 28-pack sets, and from there I'd get the occasional 4 or 5-pack. Later they were sold in different colors so I started getting those versions too. This is one of the few things in terms of toys that I actually still have today.
  21. ohhhhh... I just noticed this game out of nowhere... it's on eShop tomorrow for Switch... top-down shootemup action...yeahhhh that's good enough for me right there. *also further out of left field... BAD DUDES is also coming to Switch. I wasn't the biggest fan of that back in the day but it did have one of the best simple intros and concepts I had ever seen: "The President has been kidnapped by ninjas. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue the President?"
  22. y'know, looking back it's pretty funny what kind of guest characters have been in....and how much we've had to suspend disbelief as a result... like Yoda and Vader being in a Soul Calibur.... so we have to pretend that these people with regular ass real-world based weapons can somehow fight evenly with 2 guys that have light saber weapons (that they have mastered)....y'know...weapons that should slice clean through a regular sword and shield like it's nothing. Bayonetta 2-- the Lumen Goddamn Sage, man... just one of many awesome things in this legendary franchise. Words can't ever do these games justice... you have to play them for yourself. Hopefully the dude is playable by default in part 3.... I'd make it so him and Jeanne are playable from the start, perhaps with their own storyline. It might be quite a while before I play anything else... I'm still looking forward to Wizard of Legend (shameless plug: https://twitter.com/contingent99?lang=en ) and Vampyr (shameless plug: https://twitter.com/VampyrGame )this most this year...
  23. cheh, I'm not really a fan of smartphones either... the only reason I have one right now is because Dad gave me his older iPhone a few years ago (*forcing me into the modern-era in terms of phones)....and yeah I've still been on the same one for all this time. Before that I still had an old ass "flip phone"....the reactions of people at work when they saw that were always amusing to me---usually I'd get "whoah they still make those?!?!". I'm finally looking to upgrade at some point soon though. Even at this point, the most I use my phone for besides talking to someone is for notes and checking email. Bayonetta 1 and 2 as a portable experience--- this is the greatest thing, man. I've been on part 2 for quite a while now simply because I keep re-playing stages for better time, rank and scoring, and more stylish clips I can save.
  24. ohhhh yeah, this place looks like the visual salvation we needed.
