I watched Ronin Warriors/Samurai Troopers when it was a weekly release on the WB. We basically had that, Sailor Moon, and occasional episodes of Dragon Ball if you could find it. Everything else was stuff that you had to get from that crazy section at the back of the video store, or from some guy who had fansubs copied from another VHS tape.

I can buy it. My son started making videos for YouTube pretty close to that age without any prompting from me. He just saw people doing it and said "Hey, I wanna do that too." So some girl wanting to make her own podcast because other people were makes sense. He just sounds like a proud dad.

I don't believe he ever admitted to drugging anyone in court. The only statement I found (granted, I didn't do a ton of digging) was him having qualudes for the purpose of giving to the proclaimed victims. When asked if he did so, he denied ever drugging them. Scummy in admitted intent, but not in admitted action.

Goddamn the Actraiser soundtrack sounds so fucking good when played by a full symphonic orchestra. I picked up the vinyls from the 30th anniversary release and blasted it on the infinity surround. This is what heaven should sound like.

I have a few Swiss (that and I get to see them all day) and it's one of those subtle but distinct things once you get into the details. Everything runs smoother and cleaner. Japan movements hold up pretty well, but they just aren't as good.
