Yup, I got a picture with Xavier during the Puzzle Fighter bracket that was being done. The CRT I was missing was my Sony Trinitron (that we found afterwards). I didn't have any bad encounters that weekend, so I'm sure it wasn't me. I had all of my CRTs collected by Friday night, since all the tournaments I was helping with finished by then. I have no idea how the top 4 set up was done for SMS, as they were using something else while people were playing other games on the stuff I brought in the BYOC area. It was just crazy to me because of all the stuff that happened to you was really close to things that happened to me.

That Evo story is pretty wild to me. I remember in 2018, a number of games were being run on setups I had brought, including TMNT, Puzzle Fighter, and Vsav. I also remember one of my CRTs being under a table (took forever to find), but I don't think it's the same one that @Psychoblueis talking about. HnK definitely ran long, since SMS was supposed to run top 4 at 6 and we didn't get started until a little after 7. Just a lot of crazy parallels there.

I literally turn my camera just to see who gets blasted when people screw it up. It's easily one of my favorite fights in the game.

I actually liked Bart's Nightmare more, probably because I could actually beat it. Now Bart Man vs Radioactive Man was awful and Virtual Bart was even worse.

They were starving because of drought. The lack of rain caused a shortage of vegetation for the herbivores to eat, so they left. If things had been unbalanced due to the admittance of hyenas, then there would have been an overabundance of growth, like where Simba grew up. In fact, by introducing more predators to the environment, Scar likely prevented an even greater vegetation crisis. He's a hero.
