I didn't expect Washington to win, but I really hoped. Nothing against Philly, I just wanted to keep my Fins undefeated season record protected. Here's to another bottle for Mercury Morris.

ME1 is pretty rough, and didn't age that well. The legendary edition helps a bit though. ME2 is fantastic. ME3 has better gameplay than 2, but the story loses some of the shine. Still a lot of fun to play through. I just wish Andromeda had gotten the same chance to really flesh its story and cast out. It needed more time to be good.

I was just thinking about this scene. I miss Sega Heroes.

I hope it does well enough that they can really expand on it and add in those characters. I'd love to see the IDW cast in more than just that one crappy mobile game where Shadow has a lower strength stat than Tikal and Cream the Rabbit.

Sonic's stages were good. Tails I enjoyed because of his different mechanics and you had to actually run them faster by design. Amy's were good, but not great. Knuckles could use the improved radar from 2, but having Tikal guide you worked just as well. Big needs to go in the trash. Gamma was fun as hell. I am going fully admit my bias here, because it happens to be my favorite Sonic game, I do think it falls behind S3&K. I'd put it just ahead of 2 and SA2 for sure though.

SA1 is fantastic. You just have to remove the Big sections and it's easily one of the best sonic games made. SA2 was a pretty big step backwards overall.

Anecdotal as all hell, but when the pandemic brought things into lockdown, my store was one of the few places people could go to just "shop". Many paid off loans (good on them for that, btw), and a lot bought things like jewelry or luxury electronics. No one was borrowing money, because they just came off of getting their taxes, then getting their stimulus checks, and couldn't really go out/ spend like they used to. And it was quite common to hear "well, I don't got to pay my rent, so I got extra." My typical response to that was, "you don't have to pay your rent right now, but you still gotta pay." The smart ones listened. The rest came back to pawn all that shit they couldn't afford to keep.

I say copy SA1's template, give everyone their set of levels and individual cross-sectional stories. Keep the mechanics roughly the same, with the various gimmicks unique to each character, and forget Big the Cat ever existed. It's easy.

Hey, I can dream!

I know it's wishful thinking, but give us a full on game with multiple characters from the newer series like SA1. Have a Whisper story, Tangle, even Belle.

Glad they brought Whisper back. She needs to be featured more often
