  1. Waiting until all these movies came out to announce you're replacing Henry Cavill and going in a whole other direction would've pissed people off a lot more. And what are we talking about with "keeping" Ezra and Amber? They're just in stuff that was going to come out. They're not sticking around.
  2. Gunn wasn't part of DCU when this movie was being made. I feel a bit bad for him. But yeah, they fucked up with this. Not a crazy thought to think "this movie's going to make crazy money regardless", because most superhero flicks did. But they played themselves here. I never thought so many movies would be flopping like this.
  3. DC is really getting flop after flop. The pressure is ON for the new DCU. It's crazy, because I would have thought Flash could make a lot of money even with Ezra there.
  4. It's dumb advice, but social media and video games are way less likely to get you intervention-level addicted than Heroin/Cocaine/etc. Though, I'm talking percentage of people who try. Maybe there are a lot more VG and and Social Media addicts out there by raw numbers, since those are legal.
  5. Oof, they needed all the help they can get then. I've heard here and there about MS buying studios, but nothing meaningful has come of it. No good games, no boosted profits, nothing. If they needed to buy Activision, they must have low prospects for all the other studios they bought.
  6. As someone who didn't follow that whole thing, what are the possible ramifications of Microsoft buying Activision/Blizzard? What does that do for XBox?
  7. I didn't even know MI:7 was out already. I thought google was bugging when they said it released 7/10. But it's at my theater. Guess I know what I'm seeing tonight.
  8. I'd say it couldn't have happened to a nassar guy, but I'd be wrong. Please excuse. The cringe jokes are like demons that won't leave me alone when they pop in.
  9. You know, it's bad to compare yourself to people who seem to be doing better than you on the internet. You don't know their life, and may be creating an unreasonable standard for yourself. I wonder if the reverse is true as well. I watch a video like this and the dude behind it is so pathetic that I feel better about my life, despite there being a LOT of things I have to work on. I see a lot of people like this online though, and wonder if knowing there's much worse people out there makes me get lax about my problems. Like, for real. Amouranth is the queen harvester of simps, but to imply she had early menopause coming as "karma" is prime bitch shit. Prime "I see why no woman will touch you" shit.
  10. Cancer is a bitch and I hope your wife can get past that. Hope everything shakes out well there.
  11. I think the dress and her doing the twirl is a little extra too, but to pull the "think of your kids" card is a little premature here. It's a dress she wore to a show one night. It's nothing to invoke motherhood about unless she goes more and more out of pocket. Also, this is Usher we're talking about. He probably serenades someone like that at every show. I could see if Keke was like that around Earl from accounting, but it's Usher. As weird as this sounds, I totally get a woman Keke's age fangirling around Usher like that.
  12. In MOST fiction, there's still a world established with "rules" that are consistent. You break that, and you have bad fiction. For instance, if you have a grounded story with no supernatural elements and you introduce werewolves at like 10 minutes to go, that's bad regardless of fiction being "whatever the author wants". If you establish the world as crazy enough to begin with though, then that werewolf doesn't matter as much. It's not so much the rules themselves as it is the consistency.
  13. That's a weird case to me. I totally get that dude being mad. But he should have kept it between them. Also should have NOT thrown a bit of shade at her as a mother. And not been like "I'm a traditional man of the family and I have morals" when he himself recorded and uploaded a video of Keke trying to twerk, and she's likely supporting him. I get him being mad, but he brought this shit on himself. And also, it wasn't like a lapdance. Her dancing with Usher, no lie, would fire up some jealousy in me if I had a baddie like Keke. But it literally lasted less than a minute and it wasn't like she was grinding on him.
  14. Assuming the thread is true, it IS a bit silly that he was living in the US for a while and didn't get that word being controversial. But it isn't like he was dropping N-Bombs left and right either.
  15. Shit like this is real cancel culture/parasitic woke shit I hate. Not what comedians and the like cry about nowadays. YongYea may be the least problematic YouTuber I've ever seen, but the second you get a little fame, these parasites wanna go digging. This will turn into nothing, but I SERIOUSLY hate this behavior.
  16. IF this story is true, even if you can get your money back, you'd probably want to whup the ass of someone who stole your life savings.
  17. Yeah, MK2 was the child version of taxes the way it ran your pockets. It's NO surprise the cheap shit was on purpose.
  18. Those above are people on the right. This is their attempt at humor, and now you can see why there's a big "failed entertainer to far right shill" pipeline. But to be honest, I would totally buy that criticism coming from the extreme left. I hate the purity testing.
  19. It's like I said before. This woman is unimaginably stupid and an obvious grifter. Even when I factor in her being "first" in her niche, I can't understand how SHE got big. I hate Fresh and Fit and have only seen clips, but there's at least a "Jerry Springer" element people can tune in for. I can't imagine this woman's show bringing anything to the table people want to watch. But hey, if there are omega level simps out there, there must be omega level incels.
  20. A good one that helps with back problems apparently. She showed me receipts and all.
  21. I didn't want to jump to conclusions, having so little life experience myself, but I'd be inclined to agree. I was nervous about paying off the rest of a cousin's bed on layaway when she came to me for help, fearing she might come to me again and again (I've never helped her at all before that). But at least she laid everything out and initially only asked for half. The full amount I gave her is just over 400 bucks. She hasn't come to me since. The sister here needed a co-signer (meaning they didn't trust her to pay) and let this lay until it was an unwelcome several thousand dollar surprise. And now, she doesn't see how serious shit is. I personally would be plotting on cutting her off too, but maybe there's some mitigating factor here I don't know about.
  22. Well, I'm only basing it on myself. I once liquidated a 401K from a previous job with a paltry amount in it (like 2K at most) because I needed it at the time. I was that broke. I wouldn't recommend it; they REALLY hit you come tax time.
  23. Oof. I hope shit goes good for you. Fucking with a 401K well before you can legally use it means you're in a BAD spot. If you don't mind me asking, what mess did your sister get into? If you answer, you can be as vague as possible.
