Do these awards ever MEAN anything for the winners in terms of prestige or future funding? I'm happy when a good game gets an award either way, but I only care about trailers/announcements. But yeah, big OOF to Horizon 2. Dropping the same year as God of War: Ragnarok AND ELDEN RING? That shit ain't even fair.

The universe saw me laughing at losers trying to nudge an AI into being transphobic. It saw me say it's in the top 5 pathetic things I've ever seen in my life. It decided to serve me more stuff, like YouTube. I watched the video (not linking), and it's even sadder (funnier for me, sadder for most people) than what the above implies. Tyrone's girl (of many years) always wanted to go to Disneyland. With him specifically. He's saying he can't support Disney because it's woke now (he doesn't say woke, but says enough for you to read between the lines), so he's not taking her. Maybe she can go with a friend. I'm speculating, but maybe it'll be on his dime. By the way, she's right beside him in the video. She doesn't seem that sad about it at least. This sounds sad to most people, but to me... This nigga is in his mid-forties, and is not taking his multi-year girlfriend to Disneyland because Disney is woke now. This, despite him being easily able to afford it through YouTube bucks. Something's wrong with me, because I should be sad at this shit, but I can't stop laughing.

It's debatable how much the legal drama and fighting for a "who cares" reputation is hurting him, but it's not helping by any means. His biggest source of income is from a chain of restaurants either he or his family owns, and I doubt this is helping things. It's not like Billy is out there promoting the restaurants when dealing with legal matters. And it's not like people want to try the restaurants just because they're attached to him.

This is a long watch, and you don't need to watch it. But I did. I know nothing of queer community (much less its writers), but I am IN AWE of just how much this James Somerton dude stole from them. I was watching this while doing other things, but at certain points, I could only just LAUGH. You would swear Somerton never had an original thought in his life. If you put a plagiarist like this in the first draft of a fictional story, people would tell you to tone it down. This is kinda scary. This dude was able to plagiarize brazenly for years and years with ALL the evidence out in the open, and he's just now facing any real backlash. I wonder how many other YouTube plagiarists are just out there skating by because people don't check stuff that deep.

I saw that. The funniest thing is the woman interviewing him is Tasha K, who got BENT OVER in court vs Cardi B for defamation for spreading rumors like this. She has to pay a hefty bag worth of cash for defamation still. One would think she wouldn't want to be involved with any gossip like this, but she seems kinda stupid.

Didn't know all that, as I don't care for appearance stuff that much. But yeah, that's awful. And it's another reason I'm scared for the future. Who's to say WB won't spray their slime on gameplay, beyond just making it a grind to get some cosmetic trinkets? MK is one of the few series left where it's a Day 1 buy for me, and WB could fuck that all up.

These people likely get all their opinions about something from like-mindeds on twitter. I have a theory most anti-woke people are doing this unless they get challenged. They just listen to a channel (twitter or YT) tell them why something sucks and regurgitate.

I REALLY hope they don't fuck up the next Mortal Kombat with this BS. Those games take years to come out, and to wait until 2029 only to get a live-service shitfest would infuriate me to no end.
