Yeah came to mind that too, and SF6 already did at least 2 winks at SF the movie, but guess on general as imagery jap devs are more familiar with HnK
 
Plus it's whole scene that scream Raoh style, it kinda implied M.Bison just instant wiped off these minions using his aura while sitting on his horse... and HnK did that shit often enough that basically was gimmick that you needed to impress really hard Raoh to get him to come down from the horse, otherwise you was getting this treatment, not even Kenshiro himself  was safe LOL

I agree. Bison is a constant. Let the IP breathe without him. Having him around and constantly taking Ls doesn't do anything for his character.

The gorilla guy is surely making a playable appearance in the future. He's getting name dropped a lot in Ed's win quotes.

Ed's redesgined Neo-Shadaloo uniform looks much better too.

I think the point of the quote is that Rashid lost his friend due to Shadaloo and that he takes them seriously, much how Ed takes them seriously, not necessarily that something happened to Ed's friends. Even then, if Ed was kidnapped as a kid he already lost his familiy due to them. I wouldn't read too much into it.

Hey! since it's been quiet I thought I'd throw out this tidbit about what I think might be a design element for AKI
 
We know that Street Fighter often takes inspiration from fight manga and the best fight manga I've read in a LONG while has a character with some definite stylistic similarities to AKI

Sawada is an effeminate fighter in the Kengan series and I think some design elements were inspirational to SF

On top of Sawada's general look, his fighting style might have been inspiration for another character since it is STRONGLY inspired by ballet

I don't think it's an exaggeration to say there seems to be a lot that might have influenced Manon as well. In fact, visually there's resemblance between Manon's bangs and her...uh...I am not sure what to call her hair tassels that hang down but obviously it is VERY similar to the look for Sawada. In fact, it is like they took Sawada's hair and split it into two hairstyles...one for Manon and one for AKI.

On another note, since you guys all like SF, if you like fight manga in general AT ALL I highly recommend Kengan Ashura/Omega. EXCELLENT series with amazing art.

It definitely is gonna be massive, it's SF4 all over again and more. Which makes me sad that our Dark Lord won't be there to enjoy the fruits of HIS labor in SF5... Not yet anyway.

She not only came out in full official costume but she also hit Juri's fighting stance, her taunt pose (the backwards bend) AND got an elimination by using Juri's super from SF6

As person that actually works in graphic/"artistic" field i have no strong opinion about "AI art"

Lot of the outrage feels kinda hilarious and hypocrite to me, nobody on teh internet gave much fucks when tons of "normal job workers" were fired thanks to new tech, not going to raise shield and make my heart bleed only because "artist" figure is more romanticized than grocery cashier
 
Capitalism and final consumer being arrogant/entiteled cunts are the real deal, and in creative world they've been a problem for decades already
AI is just a tool, will have negative or positive impact based on the use people make of it
 
Real problem is automation as a whole is being used to maximize profits (and cut people cost) rather than build ideal utopia society where people will have to work less to live thanks to sexy robots

I've watched your video and I would go as far as saying that not only is it unethical but at this stage it isn't really art in the true sense of the word.

This recent article posted in the Guardian is an excellent summary of the rightful outrage many artists and other art adjacent people feel about this new technology. Hope you take the time to read it as I think we would digress way off topic here.

Naaaah, for it to be even usable they had to "train" it using all sorts of assets without artist's consent. It started with 100+ folks who never agreed to it and blossomed from there. A tool is photoshop, Blender, After Effects, etc. This is not anything close to that. Without being fed it couldn't make anything.
 
There's literally been incidents where artist's mangled signatures appeared in the "new art". They're trying this in the voice acting world too and it's becoming a problem there too.

AI art is a mistake.

Her theme starts off strong, then becomes weird. It's a memorable, but not too much. But I feel this way about most of the music. It's the weakest part of SF6.

When you look at everything else about SF6, I would be hoping that it would end up with revolutionary music like the latest KI. But alas it seems it's not meant to be.

Love that the start remind me HBO's Rome intro song, i think it's intentional
