  1. That Riyadh invitational in August seems like a good time, considering he's Saudi. I'm hoping for July though with a trailer this month. The sooner we get through this season, the sooner we can get Season 2 - when you know who makes a surprise appearance and all is right with the world!
  2. I mean, there are quite a few things that white supremacy and Islam agree on. The former is not limited to racism in its bigotry.
  3. Capcom confirmed reading this thread?!?! PLEASE BIPSON SEASON 2 PLEASE! TAKE ALL MY MONEY!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭
  4. Maybe part of the perks of working with Shadaloo is life extension for pets. If Vega can get everlasting beauty out of his deal, JP can keep his cat surely.
  5. Right? What a turnaround from SF5. I just hope they keep adding masters with their unique perspectives, dialogues with characters and citizens, major locales, and of course plotlines for us to unravel - even if they are low-mid stake plotlines. This is an incredible exercise in world building.
  6. Or it could be 35-40. The oldest recorded cat is 38 years old. What if JP is 45-50yo but he just looks much older cuz of the beard and naturally white hair. In JP mirror mathces, the win quote is him reminding himself to feed the cat. It's actually a bit odd that we haven't met the cat considering how prominent Capcom are making it. I also get the impression that Ed and his crew are not friends with JP. What they did to Bosch was clearly intended towards stopping JP indirectly, it was also very cruel/ironic considering the torturous PP experiments they underwent themselves. Maybe Ed isn't the goodie-goodie we think he is.
  7. Also I don't know if anyone caught this but... If that is meant to be a young JP then Cybele is like 500 years old in Cat Years. This can only mean one thing... Bison is Cybele! And JP is much younger than we think he is (look at the hair).
  8. @Lord_VegaI can't be wrong I literally said it was my headcanon! 😄 Seriously though I can't reconcile myself with any variant of the "Bison and Rose are one person" theories. I think Bison taught Rose Soul Power either as a trick like you said or because he sees the value in understanding what is pure so that you can then acquaint yourself with what is impure later. Maybe the core fundamentals of PP/SP are the same like the Force in Star Wars, they are both psychic kis that tap into different emotions. I always understood this metaphorically not literally. As then they spent a lot of time together in her early life before going their separate ways. It could be a bond of Master/Apprentice, but one could also imagine a more intimate layer to their relationship. Maybe father/daughter as she was an orphan possibly. Maybe they were lovers? There are so many interpretations that do not involve them literally being the same person. If you max out mastery with him and check out all dialogue, he's really something else. Very philosophical. He has a different view on the world and he mixes lies with truth all the time. He's absolute deceiver but I can't tell if he is also lying to himself. Like when he talks about the terrorists and Ken, it's obvious to us he is lying but then he says stuff like he thinks he's a good guy. He chooses to see the prosperity he has brought to Nayshall than the corruption. Even though he is responsible for both. He also mentions that he is not a master of Psycho Power and he thinks himself as an ordinary level fighter, but that strength is not a prerequisite to survival or winning. Very interesting take compared to Bison who seemed to respect power/strength alone. I think we will learn more about the underbelly of activities in Nayshall from AKI and Ed. Some citizens of Nayshall seem to think that Neo-Shadaloo are trying to bring Shadaloo back, but that doesn't completely make sense. So we need the inside perspective.
  9. https://www.youtube.com/@Hopezera/videos This channel has archived all cutscenes, dialogues, and arts with all characters. Give them a like or sub if you enjoy. They earned it!
  10. We might’ve seen things differently but Ryu was 100% holding back that fight. SNH or not, he could’ve killed her as Viper herself says.
  11. Where are you getting this exactly? Viper (and Seth) had no idea just how powerful Ryu can be. She was provoking him to get awaken the SNH but there is no version of that encounter where Viper can even go even against Ryu. The same Ryu who destroyed Seth at the end of TTTB. Battlesuit Viper is strong, but the story has not given us any indication that her CIA training would put her at the level of any of the SF Avengers. She can't even generate her ki outside herself.
  12. Punk is pissed off that it's an invitational only. Don't tell people what to do with their money. These guys are clearly trying to make a show out of it.
  13. I think as long as the FSE is inside her, it probably is amplifying her strength at the minimum. Juri can go toe to toe with many SF characters. Juri is a special character. That is not the argument here. Jamie is not Juri. He isn't even close to her level with or without FSE. If you want to get a gauge of Jamie's power, you can infer it from his fights with Luke. If he can't beat Luke outright, then odds are he can't beat heroes like Guile, Chun, and probably Cammy too. There is also the factor of time to consider in the SF universe, as a general rule age is power. The oldest characters follow the trend of also likely being the strongest. There are exception like when the young character has a unique power up (like being genetically modified or cyber augmentation). I don't think Jamie's alcoholism qualifies for the type of power up we're talking about.
  14. Alex has "chosen one" plot armor. Shadaloo, Sim, and Gill all recognize his hidden talents. Juri was using the Feng Shui Engine in SF4 which Bison ripped out of her eye socket. Bison could take on Guile, Chun-Li, and Cammy with ease, so FSE Juri was nothing to him. Juri powered down ever since that encounter because she is now using a much more primitive model of the FSE. She and Chun-Li fight to arguably a draw in SF6 for example.
  15. Ken should be at least 68. Chun-Li and Gief should be 67 at least. But you can make a case for 68 easily. JP should probably be 66 at most. Sure he's got a ton of style, and knows his way around portals to the dark void but your Cac kicked his ass. All other new characters in SF6 should be 62 or less. Possible exception for Lily if Necalli is her guardian devil.
  16. That’s why I said some headcanon mixed in. I think Bison killed his fellow students at the same time he killed his master. It was a bloodbath basically and not a 1v1 ala Akuma and Goutetsu. It was both a demonstration of his power and inhumanity. As for Rose, he probably instructed her in Soul during a time that he was searching for answers and likeminded people roaming the world. He was probably still in the early stages and didn’t give in completely to PP. He may also have reason to not instruct her in PP so early in her apprenticeship. In my mind this is about 30-40 years before SF1, which could explain Bison’s military background.
  17. Didn't Nakayama say that the word AKI means something in Chinese or Japanese? Like how FANG is also Fang in English?
  18. Based on the murky details and some headcanon, the Bison origin story to me was something like the Goutetsu story in a way. Bison and 2 other students were being instructed in this rare mystical art of Soul Power by the only known Master of it. The Master knew of its potent dark side but understood that it needed to be limited or else it would drive you insane. Bison however with his own innate gifts, skills, and ambition, was able to harness the dark side of this ki completely. Unhappy with the limitations of his master, Bison massacred him and his fellow students and journeyed to learn everything he could about this energy to become the strongest martial artist. Bison named this dark manifestation "Psycho Power". During these early travels, Bison met a young extremely gifted girl named Rose and took her on as his apprentice but abandoned her sometime later to pursue a new plan that will exponentially expand his research efforts while simultaneously increasing his power and influence (Shadaloo). I also like to think that the reason Bison did not kill young Rose was because he foresaw her significance in the endgame. He might also have a soft spot for her which may be uncharacteristic of him generally. edit- Important detail I forgot to mention: He was always evil and that is why his mind is at peace with Psycho Power.
  19. So apparently on the back of Cammy's phone are the initials "CW" and on the back of Decapre's phone it says "DW". Have Capcom canonized her last name "White"? I'm also reading that SF6 also canonized Travers as Cody's last name. I think they may really come after the Shadaloo Kings' naming this round.
  20. Between the MK1 media storm and the T8 beta, I think end of June at most is a good time to start announcing DLC like Rashid and costumes etc.
  21. Psychopaths can be born that way. This one happens to have an extreme propensity towards violence, megalomania, and psychic powers. The idea that Bison is evil because of "society" or some other nonsense betrays the type of villain he is.
