  1. I watched the last episode and it wasn't confirmed. This seems more like a mountain out of a mole hill because . . .
  2. Me watching that latest episode (especially that final battle)
  3. Most interior doors in the US are at least 80 in tall. If she is 6'5 (77 in) and wearing any sort of heel (which is apparent in both outfits), she'll be against the frame. Don't think it's an 8, but somewhere between a 3 - 5 in heel/platform. This post is brought to you by my experience in home improvement projects and almost 7 years working in women's retail 😎
  4. Are you looking to buy or build? I have to reconfigure the space in my loft area as an office. I plan to build a unit by the end of the year. My job gives me 12 weeks of parental leave. That's enough time to draw something in concept. This. Even if you found something that may not be a "computer desk," you can add a few things with cable routing and make it into what you need it to be.

  6. Easy pass for me, but I will say that I am appreciating the VW love in the line so far. Anything under their auto groups will likely get official badging . . . coughMEISTERcoughJAZZcough . . .
  7. So everyone, the last two months have been a hell of a ride. Life threw my family a curve ball. While my soon-to-be son is good, my wife was diagnosed with cancer. I checked out of almost everything in the latter half of May. I haven't said anything in this space because while it's hard to say it, it's much tougher to read it. One of those facts that you never thought you'd learn is that you can have chemo while pregnant with very little risk to the child in the 2nd/3rd trimester (around 2%). Everything is on the up and up. The baby is healthy and tracking normally. My wife (all things considered) is doing remarkably well with the treatment. The medical team has been nothing but stellar, and the support we've gotten has been awesome. We're having our baby shower this coming weekend, and we've switched it to virtual (since my wife is immuno-compromised). Again, we've got nothing but love from family and friends. Coming to this space has been good as it's a refuge from the grind since we found out. I've also been super reflective. The old adage goes, "Be kind because you don't know what others are going through." I was already pretty empathetic, but this has kicked it up a notch. Still have a few things to prep for (e.g., reviewing what's left on the registry and the daddy-do list) since he'll be here in a month. It's all coming together beautifully. Thank you all for being great play cousins!
  8. The fact that she didn't pay before picking up the gas handle screams "funny post because algorithm got me to do it".
  9. People must understand the value of spending money on their beds and shoes. When I started getting more serious about running, I quickly realized that getting stuff out of the bargain bin vs. a good pair of purpose-built shoes makes a difference. The same goes for casual wear also.
  10. Yeah, but that dialogue between those two was something serious.
  11. Bruh when I found out that it was all digital, I lost it. 13:15 is where they start talking about him.
  12. That was the peak ILM era. I think about the 07 Transformers movie and how it still holds up over 15 years later.
