It's kind of impressive that SFV's story managed to raise so many interesting plot points and wound up fumbling every last one of them. Nash went out SAD.

Like hell it was. Bunch of non-canon trash. Absolutely no point to it whatsoever. Instead of streamlining everything and making sure the games connected right, they were on some nonsense. Just an useless waste of time.

The core of SF's story issues lie with SFV. It's unbelievable that the one game in the franchise with short stories for all characters, a full length in-engine movie, and arcade modes representing every single game in the franchise is this pathetic when it comes to telling anything coherent story-wise. SF's story doesn't need a reboot, it needs to burn down and rot. Forget about it.

Midrange is already borked as is, removing mediums wouldn't help casuals and would make the game asstastic. SF just isn't getting done right tbh. Sha already mentioned a lot of things about the overall package, but they're also trying to get SF pacing with flashy comeback mechanics and a lot of "fuck your neutral, I wanna get IN" moves for the sake of being more interesting for stream monsters. Meanwhile, ArcSys looked at GG, did the exact opposite, and wound up with a much more interesting game to watch.

Gohan is an inconsistent bitch who is more well-known by now for being washed. I can't even call him a wasted character because there was no character to waste. He varies wildly depending on what saga you're reading. Toriyama treats this character's fans like this: More importantly, the new Super chapter is alright. Where's the damn anime?

That's good tho, let's be honest, if Goku and Vegeta can't casually solo the fool, the rest of the gang is outright useless. The weaker characters gotta get some shine every once in a while or they become Tien-tier. Super has been good with that.

Yeah, Majora's got a lot of good ones. I feel like the lack of a real last dungeon hurts it a bit though. Great Bay Temple is what the Water Temple meme would be if it was accurate tho, fuck that place.
