  1. Pre-EVO. Just warm-up tournaments. Good thing too, kinda reminds people EVO is gonna be a thing this year.
  2. IF the Pro ever end exist, it'll likely focus on framerate instead of resolution because it's gonna be cheaper and let's be honest, to gun for that 4k experience, they might as well make a brand new console. A Switch Pro with 60fps and same resolution as the regular (or 1080/60 for portable and docked) could be nice, but even then, battery would be a concern. Honestly, I don't see it happening soon. We just got the "XL" equivalent. Nintendo has been out of that silly arms race, and that's for the better tbh. The Switch is nothing short of brilliant, let's see how they move from there.
  3. BDSP stands for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. SwSh is Sword and Shield, that one you see bashed in all the vids whenever you type pokémon on Youtube. 🤣
  4. BDSP confirmed to be on that polishing state. Low key liked the darker rocks more, made it stand out from the blandness of SwSh's artstyle, but I'll wait for some real footage before talking a lot about that game.
  5. Just make the timer short. 15~20 secs is more than enough to pick a character/stage. Yeah, good point. 👍 *Thinking of a comeback to that.*
  6. More importantly, it doesn't render base Switch irrelevant. So games will still run as optimally on both. Honestly, Nintendo wasn't ever going to win on the graphics department, so a small revision like this was a good play. They'd pretty much need to make a whole new console to push 4K and honestly, I'd rather have them push for 60fps instead. We definitely ain't seeing either though. Just the confirmation I don't need to worry about Prime 4 running like shit on base Switch is enough to make me really happy about this.
  7. Thanks for the info. 👍 Honestly, it's like I'm seeing an unicorn lmao. More importantly, no performance boost means games will still be optimized for base switch, which makes the current models still relevant. The improvements are nice though, and the built-in LAN port might have people take the damn hint and stop playing on wifi. I finally can stop worrying about Prime 4 running like shit on base Switch. Bless. EDIT: Dread being the first game shown on the vid. We finally getting that flagship treatment boys.
  8. Isn't the level thing based on character with the tower as the generic rank?
  9. It's much easier than you think. Just put a default non-descript pic instead of showing the character pic. ArcSys could even make some bread out of it by pushing out some artwork that you can pick for your wanted poster as an extra fishing thing or straight up cosmetic DLC. People dodging characters will always be an issue on the current state of the game.
  10. That'd be really simple to fix. Just don't show the character's pic in Ranked. Honestly, it bothers me that they went with that SFV method of setting everything beforehand. Makes changing characters a hassle since you gotta go allll the way back to the lobby, watch your character twitch on the ground like he got stabbed, get up, then you get to pick a new character, then you can try again, hopefully with no connection errors. Meanwhile, some asshole probably already stole your spot or the dude already left thinking you gave up. 🤣
  11. So you and Vhoz gonna be just sitting in the park?
  12. I take offense to that. You know ArcSys is all about that lore too. 🤣 But I digress, I came here to post Samus in a bikini and I will not lose sight of that mission.
  13. Ironically Mecha Ridley and Kraid were the bosses I had the most trouble with because I can't short-hop missile with any kind of accuracy. 🤣
  14. SwSh was an embarrassment. Game got cooked so bad that Game Freak had to break away from the formula with Legends to try and get some goodwill back.
  15. Iirc, he has no 236 motions that overlap with Bomber's input, so it shouldn't be too bad.
  16. TO messed up. This ain't no charity. Kaz been clapping up top tier players too, you gotta hold that shit.
  17. I legit thought the charge beam jumping attack was bugged, then I accidentally got a kill with it and got confused. Only when I tried going through a swarm of these bugs that Beam Burst plants in Area 3 release I understood what was happening. I killed a bunch of em and got hit anyway. Then I realized why the charge jump wasn't working. I was dealing damage, but not enough to kill the random things, so I was essentially leaping into hitboxes. The random enemies are spongey like that. At some point you gotta call shenanigans. That's just silly. It's not even that the charge beam is super weak, everything just got crazy HP so the counter is more rewarding. The whole balance is wacky because of it.
  18. Nah, it just went 1-2. Guy who lost to it went 0-2 and so did half the fools. You wanna see some real shit tho? https://twitter.com/Level9CPUKazuya/status/1410808884785258500
  19. I don't even... Oh well, it is Metroid. Doesn't surprise me you can sequence break the hell out of it. Yeah, Zero Mission is kind of on the easier side, game is kind of bs-free like that. I appreciate how smooth the experience was tbh, it's an incredibly consistent game. In other news, started Super Metroid. That game definitely has that untangible quality you feel when you're playing a masterpiece. Only got to the Bomb upgrade so far, but the game just feels good. Did not appreciate me trying to curl in the Bomb Chozo's hands and it turning into a whole ass boss tho. I wanted more health, not less! 🤣
  20. Honestly, give the whole roster a spin. If no one clicks, DLC is your best bet.
