  1. Same problem, different solution. I'd need to sit still and bait that attack. What got me the best results was the good old Ice Beam/Missile combo. Melee on freeze works too, but you gotta be in range. Sadly, it only really works on mooks and since I got the Wave Beam, sniping them through platforms is something that, while slower, is a bit better for me since it deals with most armored things as well. Things just got too much health in this. I'm probably going straight to Super Metroid to see what the fuss is all about.
  2. I got a better one. Just disconnect it from the WiFi real quick/pull that plug.
  3. The higher FPS is the most noticeable, but the rest is pretty nice too. Honestly, if you didn't like SS on the Wii, odds are this ain't gonna move the needle.
  4. Easy, most remakes end up even better than the originals. So when a remake pops up, you know it's gonna be a good game with some nice improvements. Of course, some don't hit the mark, but them's the breaks.
  5. Dropping Samus Returns. That game is just a slog. Every enemy is a damage sponge that deals a chunk of damage, the Metroids are repetitive and incredibly spongey. You shoot them for minutes on end, and if they bump into you, you're losing at least half a tank, and that's the Alpha Metroids, the flying spider things are definitely hitting harder. Random mooks in Areas 2 and 3 take like 5 missiles to kill. It's just not a fun experience. If you don't mind that, odds are you'll like it, but I just can't. Fortunately Dread seems to be much faster-paced, so I'm still looking forward to that.
  6. It has. They're handling them in Season Passes like everyone else now. Good. Die slow. It's crazy how NRS just keep tossing their games under the bus like that. Super short cycle. Guess Injustass 3 is coming next or whatever. We know the real fatalities were our eyes watching that jank-looking game. 🤣
  7. Hey man, I'm just saying I kinda understand since each game would be like, $15. It's nostalgia bait at its finest and I'm definitely not the target audience, so I obviously understand if you don't wanna drop all that money on games that are old af with a new coat of paint on the sprites.
  8. Bundle of 6 games costing like, 90$ full price? Big Brand too? I mean... Games are old as dinosaur dirt from the looks of them, but it's still 6 remastered games man. 🤷‍♂️
  9. Treehouse stream showed that the EMMI areas are pretty big, so I'm cool with that. Really hoping that there are items and stuff down there that would force exploration instead of it being "Get to the exit before the EMMI gets you".

  11. Oracle games on LA Switch engine would be incredible. Sadly, with Skyward HD dropping this year and BotW2 the next, there's not really a lot of room to drop those classics again. We definitely need Oracle Remakes at some point tho.
  12. This. The whole console wars are silly. Always have been. Exclusives are what truly move the needle, and besides that it's all about some cost-benefit management that really varies from person to person. The real winner has been out of this foolishness since the Wii. Nintendo been putting out bangers since most of us were kids, and now they keep outdoing themselves with truly unique additions to the gaming world. if were keeping it 💯 , PC is the winner of the console wars for running GOAT of the Wild on 4k/60fps through emulation. Enhancing these quality games even further is what truly makes it the Master Race. And we can just pick the Switch up and keep playing while taking a dump like the glorious days of the Game Boy then hook it back up on the TV when we're done with no hassle. Seamless transition. Truly a blessed console.
  13. Roster is fine and we're getting 5 characters per Shill Pass. That's gonna add up quick. Everyone got their own style and you can express your own even further because they aren't hard-capped into having one way to be played. Honestly, most people that diss the roster are hatin because their mains didn't make it or because they're jealous because their fav game ain't it.
  14. Ok, I got a question. Is this a console war argument? You keep mentioning how PC players talk about Steam and PCs compared to consoles and that kinda doesn't have anything to whether or not Steam is a bloatware or not.
  15. Definitely could've gotten it under 6 hours, but messed around for a loooong while in Chozodia trying to find a power bomb tile I've seen earlier that turned out to be a shortcut to Crateria that I already took to get back to Chozodia anyway. Already playing Samus Returns, Got to Area 2.
  16. It's *very* common in ArcSys games and you'll learn to love it. Especially if you wanna combo 6H into DP. *Looks at pad.* Bro, it's only a shortcut if you operate your hitbox like a grandma typing. 🤣 This is literally the same motion written without the diagonals wtf?
  17. Unless they main Meitenkun, get them the fuck outta here. 🤣
  18. You can do Charged Stun Edge and get some legit Oki to work with instead. Just need a slight delay or it'll fly past the opponent, but it's still a very good option on his arsenal.
  19. It all boils down to this. I understand that some might not like the idea that you can't opt out of the Steam Client, but it does bring a lot to the table and rarely gets in the way because it's super lightweight. You can opt out of that. Though yeah, it is a minor nuisance.
  20. So the only real negative is the constant client updating, which is frankly a minor nuisance. Vs all the benefits of the Steam platform on speed dial... Yeah, definitely ain't counting Steam as bloatware like that, it's way too excessive lmao. It's barely bloat to begin with. 🤣
  21. Yeah, it's not just a client for launching games, it handles store and communication features as well. Like, I wouldn't mind if I could ditch it, but calling it bloatware seems a bit excessive imo. Does it even take up that much space?
  22. It's something much simpler than that, which of course these kids wouldn't understand. MKLeo is a sponsored player. CEO is a major tournament. It's quite literally his job to go out there and get his sponsor's brand known by doing well at tournaments like these. However, this fool woke up at over 1pm and lost registration. Call your boss at 1pm saying you missed work because you overslept and see what happens.
