  1. @MattatsuFrom my experience with both, Cammy's best feature is being simple but effective. With a lot less wacky options to consider, it's easier for the gameplan to come naturally faster. You always know what punish to do, what buttons to push. Plus she's great at both reacting and punishing as well as rushing down. Chun I found is outstanding mid-range, but sometimes the plethora of different normals, command normals, and situational punishes can mix you up unless you're really devoted to the character. Having multiple different anti-airs for different situations can cause a bit of brain freeze sometimes. But all of that gets ironed out if you really devote yourself to the character. As far as actual cons of the characters, Chun can struggle against extremely heavy zoning characters (so like 4 characters), while Cammy can struggle opening up turtles until you get really good at shimmies, frame traps, etc. But I'm just a Silver scrub so take all that with a grain of salt. I'd be up for running some sets with you sometime though if you want to really dive into them. If I recall, the one time we played we were evenly matched. It would be nice to play someone here who doesn't completely stomp me.
  2. Last one then I need to go eat dinner. GGs guys
  3. What the hell is that super I've never seen that before 🤣
  4. Time to get ready for the next upcoming SFV character.
  5. I invited Pertho14, that not the right name?
  6. Made a lobby. @misterBee let me know which of your 3 PSN's to invite.
  7. PS4, take you time, I'm trying to remember how to play. Been like 2 years...
  8. Fei was strong in pretty much all versions of the game that I recall, but yeah, once they added Elena she made most of the other footsie centric characters obsolete.
  9. My understanding is yes, but we might have to wait and see if that's just the big titles or if it works across the board.
  10. @M A R T I A NSorry dude I think you hit me up there 5 minutes after I signed out and went to bed. I'm super ready to play some SF4 with anyone who wants to though. On Playstation only, I'm afraid. Don't have, nor do I have the willpower or funds to buy, build, or maintain, a decent gaming PC.
  11. Sounds like the mini netcode patch was somewhat of a success, which is cool. I'll try and be around earlier tomorrow if you guys are playing again, I want in. Also @M A R T I A NI'll play SF4 anytime.
  12. I always used tournament variations, though I'm not really sure why. I never played ranked and certainly never attended tournaments. I mainly played Sindel, thought I was having fun learning Terminator for a while. Anyone play any Injustice 2? I think I played like 100 hours of that when it came out and never actually fought a real person, lol.
  13. I might be the only one but I'd really like them to make another stab at Falke in a sequel. Maybe a little less stiff and intentionally limited, with some more fluid and acrobatic attacks and mobility. Kolin feels like a series mainstay, Menat is cool but they should separate her from Rose's moveset more, Zeku is awesome, G is awesome and I think removing V-trigger robbery would go a long way towards increasing his popularity.
  14. Oh and G was in that character pack too. G is like you're eating your Big Mac, then a shiny golden Abe Lincoln bust through the wall Kool-Aid Man style, gives a wonderful, inspiring speech, and then while you're overcome with emotions and applauding enthusiastically, he punches you in the dick and steals your fries.
  15. He might be. There's a lot of people out there who legitimately enjoy eating seaweed. I have no interest in it, but I won't judge those who do. If you eat dog turds though you're just a vile, shameless human being.
  16. @Volt That one hurt for me too but he was in the same character pass as Sakura, Falke and Cody. Like ordering a number 1 at McDonald's for a Big Mac, fries, drink, and a dog turd wrapped in seaweed. I just tossed that last bit in the trash where it belongs and happily consumed everything else.
  17. After years of being a shill and buying every character in the game, I refused for as long as I could to unlock Kage out of sheer protest. I was salty when buying the Championship Edition forcibly gave him to me.
  18. @misterBeeI don't doubt your word or your experiences, which is why all I can do is remain confused about why it's never seemed as bad for me as it apparently has for a lot of you. I've played plenty of online fighters and SFV never felt generally worse than others.
  19. I sometimes wonder what it is that causes my SFV experience to be so drastically different from some other people's. I've literally never had anything like this happen. I don't think I've ever waited more than 2 minutes for a match, and maybe 1 in 10 has a notably bad connection. I've also been playing people on this forum lately, me west coast most of them east coast and it's completely fine. I don't doubt when people recount stories like this, but my own experiences with the game prevent me from accepting this narrative that the SFV online is just universally garbage.
  20. Ok I followed but I expect a 2 hour Dan tutorial come winter.
  21. That was probably a fluke but it felt pretty good anyway after you beat my ass for 2 hours straight the other night, lol
  22. That would be my preference, less time sitting out.
