  1. I'd also point this out about the Shoryuken...

It starts at the solar plexus specifically and goes up from there in a straight line for the jaw. Sagat's scar actually shows why it didn't kill him as a Metsu Shoryuken...it missed and was off-center.

Ideally, a proper metsu shoryuken rips a person open along their median line (where the chakra points lie) from solar plexus to jaw. Spiritually, that much damage should be absolutely fatal and impossible to recover from. It would be like getting split up the middle by a chainsaw at high speed.

An interesting thing to note is the high damage to Sagat along the middle part of his body's chakra points where Emotional Masculine Yang energy is regulated. After this damage to  him, Sagat becomes vengeful and obsessive with his aggression towards Ryu. A disorder of the yang. Neat stuff.

The interesting thing about Ryu's Shin Shoryuken is that it hits the balance point first which lets Ryu specifically target the chin for a knockout blow instead of destroying the persons mid-section. A much more precise hit that is far more merciful.

Is anyone following what this Neo Shadaloo thing is all about?

Post SF5, Ed and Crew started rolling up on Shadaloo bases to kick ass and take names. While doing so, others started referring to them as a 'Neo Shadaloo' likely because they seemed to be snatching up Shadaloo assets (though in reality they were rescuing those living assets). That name spread to the point that Shadaloo remnants started calling THEMSELVES Neo-Shadaloo and are the faction looking to make Ed their leader.

Basically, Ed didn't care what he was called and got labeled 'Neo Shadaloo' and that 'brand' caught on amongst radicals that believe Ed could be the 2nd coming of Bison and they now want to make it true even if they have to force Ed into it. Ed, true to form, could give a damn less and if people want to call him Neo Shadaloo then that's fine with him because he'll punch in the face of anyone that tries to mess with him or his people.

  3. That Ed trailer has me incredibly hyped. Everything I could have wanted for him has been addressed. He looks better, moves seem more coherent, he's pure boxing, his stage is pure fire.

Man, what a step-up. This will definitely be pulling me deep into SF6.

Also I agree with everything @Darc_Requiemsaid about the Tekken story. I'm a big Tekken fan and it felt really good to play and the ending with the way they incorporated characters, story arcs, music and even MOVE LISTS going back years and years ago was just incredible. Genuine story-telling through move-set. How cool is that?

Side note: I really get annoyed at people trying to "ship" Cammy and Juni. Cammy views the dolls as her sisters. That's a huge thing for her and it's conveyed quite clearly. Yet people insist on implying a romantic relationship.

This is the same phenomena where you see eradication of male friendships by people that insist that it MUST be a romantic relationship. It's generally perpetually online weirdos obsessed with shipping that have no healthy relationships IRL.
