Yea the first movie was criticized for being slow and confusing, I don't think it's confusing at all, but it's deffinitly a slower burn. I think the newer movies where really smart to home in on big ass stunts that have the feel and quality of the Langley Heist. MI2 just feels like an action movie with the MI sound track on it, to me anyway. Has some cool stunts but over all is just kinda dumb. I hate it's villain.

I just rewarchrd MI1 two days ago and man that film holds up so well. I kinda wish the others had followed suit a bit. It's really impressive to have made an action thriller where almost no guns are fired (Ethan never fires a shot), almost no one is cold heartedly murdered (aside from the intro team). It's an amazing action film that manages to avoid almost every action film cliche and pitfall. It's so fucking good.

I think the announcer for MK has been pretty on point and characters voices, but things like hit crunch effects "feel" awful to me, projectiles don't sound nice when thrown or on hit, body slams don't sound or feel crunchy from an audio perspective. Like their voice work is great but everything else is kinda meh imo. I really hate the weird hit effect they have used for some years now. MK was certainly always loud thats for sure.

I am, I know most people aren't malicious and out to hurt people. Sometimes they just be dumb in the moment. As for single mom advice, might depend on what the advice was. We don't know, it's not really in the post. She might be saying what not to do. Don't fall for those bad boy types, they leave you a single mom. I dunno, just depends on the advice I guess.

I'd bet money on it. Some of them are deffinitly shitty no doubt, but the broad sweeping brush single mothers get painted with by men (the nebulous generalization of men, not a man in specific) puts them in really hard spots for a multitude of reasons while at the same time having very little understanding and empathy for what her responsabilities in life at this point are. Super attractive and mega glowing personality that all the chick's want, those kinds of traits fall way way down the list of partner priorities, Now she's attracted to other, arguably much more important, things like stablitlity, responsibility, empathy, nurturing behaivor. The kind of stuff that matters to people trying to build a life, not surf the dating pool. Priorities are way different. So like she said it in a really stupid ass way, but what she meant was when she was a single on the prowl she wouldn't have selected him based on those parameters but when she was dating later the parameters had changed. She's very attracted to him but for different things then he's going surface level value in the moment, like looks and pull. She's attracted to his responsibility, his provide, his nurturing nature, far more quality characteristics. It also sounds like she said this in front of other people which was another huge mistake. You should pretty much always try to avoid making your partner look truly goofy in front other people. I'm not talkin ribbing or something I mean a serious topic like that. I would argue what she needs to work on is her communication and tact, she's not very good at it if that post is anything to go by. Edit: Also just real quick on the topic of studs, if you remember I was responding to a joke someone posted. Go back and read the post, it qualifies that a stud is a man who sleeps with a lot of women. It never says anything about attractive women. It just says men who sleep with lots of women are studs and women who sleep with a lot of men are sluts, and then makes the argument sleeping with lots of women is hard. I was responding to the joke not yalls opinions of what a stud is, and on those grounds I think my analysis of the joke is spot on. It's not a very good joke. 😕
