I finished watching Season 3 of Prime last week and unfortunately I think they dropped the ball. They pretty much went balls tot he wall on action but about 1/3 of the way though stuff started getting stale because all they were doing was fighting the same robots for like 3-5 eps straight. The first episode was still the best with Sonic and Shadow teaming up but I kinda feel Nine as an actual end antagonist of this series was a hard ball drop on potential. I would have been nice to have the various alternatives of the characters interacting with each other more but we don't really get that too much because they're too busy fighting mindless robots. Sonic flipping out when they make a robot out of *redacted* was weird AF to me. I was just kind of like...."why is is overreacting like that for this character?" All in all though Prime as a whole is a fun serious but it falls short of being something truly great and just settles into a good/decent category. Animations are really good, the character interactions that could be had were great and a majority of the voice actors brought their A game. Personal stars of the show overall were Nine, Dr. Deep, and Shadow. Also this is interesting

I've been extremely slowly and steadily trying to get my son through Beast Wars whenever the opportunity arises and I definitely don't remember the the episode in the first season that went philosophical about war and choosing sides vs none. Didn't even realize this show actually had a couple deep episodes like that hidden in it especially since it's been so long since I've watched it. I'm really curious as to how he's going to react when Primal gets blown up at the end of Season 1. Edit:

The general consensus is that the bob barker part of the game people enjoyed and a lot of people actually liked the platforming of the game. But the story overall? No...I barely see anyone praising this game for this story. Anytime someone brings this game up and someone tries to talk about the story they're immediately met with people talking about the demon getting her baby aborted by a sniper or the "shakespearean" dialogue between him and the succubus. I don't think anyone really forgives the game as a whole just because it leans in the direction of their own politics. Clearly the amount of people who think mainline Dante is corny reside on an island screaming their lungs out at the mainland and wonder why nobody is paying attention to them. I need them to leave my woo hoo wacky pizza man alone lol.
