I'm still rocking a 1070 in my main rig and a 970 in the home theater PC. With GPU prices the way they are I don't think I'm going to be getting a new card any time soon... Shit is crazy right now. Wanted to buy my friend a 1060 and they wanted almost 400 dollars...nope nope nope.

2/20/18: Another BIG update today. - Lots of bug fixes - Improvements to help me create/maintain themes faster - Layout adjustments - Mobile theme overhaul After weeks of dev and polish the site is getting to where I'd like it to be!

2/16/18: Pretty big code update today, but if I've done my job properly you guys shouldn't really notice a difference. Lots of tweaks to how themes handle different font sizes. It should be much easier for me to scale/change all the fonts on the site at once now. This is important for creating more advanced themes/tweaking the mobile layout. As always, report any bugs you guys find!

Hmm that's gonna be tough then -- don't have any old GPUs lying around to test with? =[ What makes you think the 980ti is fried?

What CPU? If it has integrated test with that first. Use one stick of RAM and CPU only -- see if it will post with just that.

2/14/18: Wanted to even out the number of light and dark themes, so here's the latest one! MvC really had some great art. <3

2/13/18 pt2: Moved to a new host. E-mail system should work properly again. Reaction counts on posts were reset as a result of the server move, but everything else should have transitioned over seamlessly.

2/13/18: So we're having e-mail problems again... Working to get it sorted as soon as possible. In the meantime we're back to the old e-mail method. I'll be approving all new sign-ups manually for now. I hate e-mail.

My Genesis/Megadrive stick overhaul is complete! Works with modern consoles now. More info on how I built it here.

Finished! Using the original PCB support plate to house the switches. Wires are routed through the bottom. Lots of modifications to the original plate to make everything fit. Custom 3D printed plungers with 3M Carbon Fiber Di-Noc: And some finished pics! Final shot with sick sticker by B-Side Label and nice thick rubber feet:

Since the original buttons are membrane gamepad trash, I decided to make my own. Gonna use cherry MX switches. Already printed custom mounts and glued them to the PCB support plate: Made some custom plungers too:

There are plenty of games out there with dumb shit. I think the thing I dislike about SFV the most is that it's stuck in between anime style games and traditional SF. You've got the interesting combos (in S3) and high damage, but the movement is really slow, normals are stubby, and throws seem weak. I wish they would pick a direction and go with it all the way. Right now it's a hybrid and I don't find it appealing.

I'll start posting updates for my newest baby here. The US version of this stick was a piece of crap. The giant balltop is just a big dpad, and the buttons are rubber membrane. Gutted it, removed most of the plastic from the inside, and installed a custom stick using hori parts and cherry switches. Now working on making some custom 24mm buttons...
