I always defended SFV's netcode because it wasn't nearly as bad as people made it out to be. In Master rank in SF6, roughly 30% of my matches are wifi users, which to me at that rank- is crazy high. Like, how many of these peeps were blaming the netcode in SFV when it was probably just their connection.

Ended up getting Jamie's outfit 3. Luckily, I had some leftover Fighter Coins so I didn't have to buy the same bundle twice.

Ohhh Capcom. So I guess the costumes aren't too expensive at $6 a pop. However, you have to use in game currency aka Fighter Coins to buy them. The costumes cost 300 FC but you can only buy FC in bundles of 250. Kind of scummy lol.

I heard some people expecting like $10 a costume, which I think is crazy lol.

How much do you guys think the Outfit 3 costumes are going to cost and do you think we'll be able to buy them separately? I only want to get Jamie's and don't want to be forced to buy a bundle.

Jamie's costume looks dope. Can't believe they brought Blanka chan back.

I'm a little surprised people are so up in arms over Drive Rush. Yeah it's a part of the game and it's a strong mechanic (especially for costing one bar). But aside from a couple characters like Juri and Dee Jay who seem like they instantly teleport across the screen - I don't think it's a problem. I'd take DR over the swingy nature of V-triggers any day of the week.

I used to play Counterstrike before I got into fighting games and the former is definitely easier. Anyone saying that fighting games are easy is lying. They're hard and will always be niche because of this. People that are attracted to fighting games enjoy putting in the work to lab, work on execution, learn matchups, etc. There's no instant gratification - it's a tough climb but a fun one.

If it's at the end of a round/match 95% of the time it's a ragequit. I only have 7 on my blacklist since June and 4 of them are Ken players 😂

@elliephilwhat are the best options against wakeup Sim level 3? Every Sim I fight does SA3 the moment I corner them. I'm too lazy to lab this.

I'm always surprised by how much damage Marisa does off of just about anything.

The players that offer a challenge are the one's you should be fighting in order to grow as a player. People that blacklist are just going to get worse at the game but I guess an online title means more than improving for some. It's like the Master players that go into Battle Hub to beat up on silver players to rack up a 95% win rate. Weird mentality.

I just assume they're saving him but I don't want to wait lol. I'd like to see a return to the Alpha 3 version of Cody. I hope they up it to five or six characters for S2. Waiting a whole year for four characters ain't doing it for me.

Speaking of Final Fight where's Cody? He better be in season 2 or I'm going to riot.

It's on pretty late for me but I caught a bit of it. Great to see a stacked offline event again. Having Mike Ross on commentary was a blast from the past. Looking forward to top 64 tonight.

The only thing I agree with in that Sonic_sol video is the input issues and even then he showed a clip of Chris T complaining about not getting super with like the sloppiest input ever 🤣 Showing clips of streamers being salty, could literally do that for any fighting game.

I have a feeling Ken, Luke and Cammy are going to be good for the entirety of SF6 just based on how they fit what's good in the game. Anybody else still do forward forward for DR cancel? I tried to make a concerted effort to switch to medium punch medium kick input but I can't get my hands to do anything else after two months of grinding prior to the change. Funny enough when I do the character trials I do the new input but I still use the old method with Jamie.

Looks like Kichipa did as well. He's using modern Lily now.

Did he say what his favourite fighting game is? I have a feeling these people hating on SF6 started with V and don't know any better.

Unless something changes, I could see A.K.I., Jamie and Lily all getting overbuffed next patch. I say that because I think they're not far off from being strong characters and the narrative around all three of them is doom and gloom.
