I have a few minor gripes but think the game is great. I don't like to keep comparing it to SFV but I just feel it's so so much better. Depending on how the later seasons develop this might end up being my favourite SF, even better than IV.

There's no reason to one and done in this game with how good the netcode is. SFV I could understand it, but if you're doing this in SF6 you're just a bitch lol.

Not sure what this guy is getting at? SF6 is literally designed around whiff punishing. Normals are big, hurtboxes linger - whiff punishing into DR is huge in this game.

Yeah, her gameplan is simple but effective. She can fly in constantly get plus frames and then you're stuck in a 50/50. Even if you spend 2 bars to get her off she can just full screen windstock again and it's a wash. She definitely has some terrible matchups where condor spire is probably useless, but if your character doesn't have good ways of dealing with it, it's going to be a pain.

Look at that range though. Platinum 1 is considered Ultra Silver in SFV and Platinum 5 is considered Ultra Plat. The difference between an Ultra Silver and Ultra Plat player in V is absolutely massive, and all these players are 'Platinum' in SF6. Kinda crazy.

Yeah, just my 2 cents but I think Ken is the best character in the game. Spits out damage and corner carry plus his neutral is amazing (why are his normals so good lol). No real weaknesses from previous games he just seems to have everything in 6.

Hopefully Capcom releases an emergency patch before Red Bull Kumite this weekend. If not, the tournament organizers will have to make sure players don't have an SIA button bound. Also, why are Arslan Ash and Leffen invited for this? That's like having a Tekken invitational and inviting Daigo and Justin Wong.

The timing is really strict mid screen. I only think it's worth going for mid screen if you're trying for the kill, if not it's better to do st.HP into sweep target combo for a drink level. Unfortunately, st.HP into sweep target combo is also kind of strict (not sure why so many of his juggles are this difficult, thanks Capcom). The j.MP ex dive follow-up is simpler to land in the corner than mid screen but then you could just do cr.HP, ex. palm, HK.DP which is easier and possibly does more damage? I'll have to check that later.

He's saying HC is worse to face/harder to fight, so you agree with him then. But yeah I agree can't really compare Strive with SF6 the rules are just different even if JP kind of breaks the mold.
