The double down motion is awful for some reason. It's the motion for Jamie's drink and I mess it up way more often than I should. I'd rather do a double shoryuken. If you ever see me full screen punching the air for no reason, that's what's happening 😅

Just played SFV for the last time. Ended up 2-0ing an Ultimate Grand Master Cammy, good place to stop. As much as I'm super hype for SF6 I'm also filled with a strange sense of melancholy. Goodbye SFV....

Hmm.. is long as it's not characters I don't really have a problem with this. If there's a costume I really like I'll buy it anyway. I'm more concerned with this Denuvo thing affecting the PC version. I hope it's a non-issue but I've never played a game with Denuvo...

What is this battle pass? It's not the same as the season pass we get with deluxe/ultimate edition?

I never played that game with Ingrid so I'm not going to even try and understand why people either love her or hate her. I will say though that the Ingrid Karin costume in SFV is top tier.

I couldn't get it to work either until I realized the shortcut from the desktop was faulty. You have to run it directly from the app.

According to this article https://www.eventhubs.com/news/2023/may/24/sf6-fighter-coins-dlc-chipotle/ there's Fighter Coins in game that can be exchanged for costumes and characters. I have no idea how they're earned besides this chipotle promotion though.

You're in Ontario right? How did you go about finding a hitbox that isn't insanely priced?

I'm lukewarm on the SF6 roster. On the one hand the new characters seem awesome, which is great and kind of its savings grace. However.....having 0 Alpha and 3rd Strike characters for not only the launch roster but for the entire first season of DLC stinks. Especially when we're only getting 4 characters for an entire year. I don't want to have to wait 3-4 years down the road just to play my favourite characters.

That Manon costume is 10/10. Hope it looks that great in game.

I'm not saying the level should stay at 4. I'm saying his drink levels should return to what they were before he activated, since he already earned those drink levels. As for Ransui Haze, is that the target combo that unlocks at level 4? I never used that once and I never saw any streamer use it either. Will definitely have to experiment with it once the game comes out. I am curious if it's worth using - his other options at level 4 seem insane already.

If he hits with the palm he can do the super and continue his combo afterwards. If it's blocked he's plus at drink level 4 and has a lot of options. The only thing I don't like about his level 2 is that after the timer ends he goes back to 0 drink levels regardless of the level he was at prior.

I kept hitting buttons and getting counterhit lol. His heavy version is plus.

I think there's going to be specific situations where alpha counter is useful. Jamie can do random palm into his install super and force a mixup. Alpha counter can be useful there to get him off you. Those situations are probably going to be rare but at least Drive Reversal is not entirely useless.

Nice option select for Jamie. You basically buffer two specials and the first comes out on normal hit and the more damaging one comes out on Punish Counter. I remember doing this in Strive with Axl. I'm sure this can be applied to other characters as well.

I think it might be a little on the slow side. I've been using light kick DP for that reason, maybe EX is faster but I haven't tried that yet.

Yeah my lobby was full of scrub quotes, got a few laughs. One memorable one was "ggs but can we agree beforehand whether to use modern controls".
