  1. Harder to play than Chun Li? Sounds like A.K.I might be the most technical character in the game so far.
  2. Anyone just catch that Mena vs OgMike match on the main stream? Three of the rounds were perfects and the one round the Lily player got he landed a single condor dive. The set was over in like one minute lol.
  3. Gonna be weird not having Chen do the last Sunday on commentary. Usually it was him paired with Seth Killian or Ultra David. Those three worked well together.
  4. I think Jamie is pretty decent too and he's often put in the same tier as Lily. I feel like a couple tweaks and he might actually end up top tier.

  6. I hadn't lost a set to a modern player until the other night when I came across a modern Juri who was reacting to everything with DP or level 1 super. Felt like I was fighting a level 8 CPU or something.
  7. A.K.I. is the only DLC character I'm interested in this season. Ed is meh. Akuma will be a cool addition, even if I won't be playing him. Want to see what others like Tokido can do with him.
  8. My take: SF3 more fun to watch than play. Probably my favourite older game to watch. SF4 more fun to watch than play. SF4 was the goat for memorable matches. As much as I loved playing it, the game was even better to spectate. SFV more fun to play than watch. SFV tried to be esports but kind of failed. Was more fun to play especially after season 3. SF6 undetermined...I'm enjoying both right now because it's still new.
  9. The Honda matchup is probably my least favourite in SF6. If the player can perfect parry it becomes a joke, but if he can' t - he gets mopped by headbutt and buttslam. The Blanka matchup is tougher but also more interesting for me since there's a lot more going on.
  10. So in GBVS Rising they're making technical and simple inputs with no power differences. No idea why they're doing this when they had the perfect hybrid of simple/technical already baked into the previous game. I think they utilized simple inputs better than any other game including SF6. Oh well, guess I won't be touching this after all.
  11. That's great to hear. I was worried about the game turning into buffered lights all day. Didn't want to go down that road.

  13. Looks like he doesn't have the double heavy slap cr.HP from SFV. That normal haunts my dreams.
  14. So they basically made it like KOF 14's max mode, hit the button's get the cancel with no dash input required. Not sure how I feel about this, DR cancels are going to be easier but might be unintended consequences....
