At some point we have to start calling developers and publishers on the bullshit, fans shouldn't have to eat the price plus a hit to their console storage or data caps just because they don't want to make time to compress their game while getting it in working order. I know adult babies were bitching about Cyberpunk but I rather they fix their shit before putting it in people's hands then roadmap that shit for months after initial release.

These games are cheap and simpler to produce compared to a legit RPG. I will give the parent company props for trying to step into the video game market with more then the previous hand off of the IP. It isn't what I want but they must be getting some positive push to still keep doing it and of course it helps the brand expand beyond table top game hobbyists without the investments other media require.

Heard about the remakes of 1 and 2 by the folks that did the Panzer Dragoon 1 remake. Haven't heard anything about a Switch game besides that, although publishers especially on the investors meetings name drop Switch games all the time without anything coming of it.

Wouldn't say Fool's gold, the whole offense seems to have injury issues. Based on just some highlights and the last game I can't help but notice he seems to want to make the turnovers when trying to make a play when he has no chance of getting it done because the defenders are already in his face. A bad habit for a starter but outside of the running game I won't say he has much to work with to put it all on him.

Having been able to watch the premiere of season 2... Damn these cast leaks almost ruined the episode. I mean it was a nice more or less self contained action romp to set up the new season and it's ties to the overall franchise. But given a day to sit on it I realize if I didn't already know about the casting and who they were and we're not going to play I would have enjoyed this a lot more. But even with my news addiction causing so much not to land as it was probably intended I really liked it.

Since they brought her back as a teenage demon after curing the Legacy virus in some storyline, I want to say the non Morrison, New X-Men: Academy X run where the school kids are sent to hell, creators have loved her. She is attractive, has a diverse power set and allows for brutal put downs.

I don't think it is a true self insert like you see in games like FE or Persona or even Link from Zelda, where the character is meant as a mostly voiceless blank slate. Ethan is a character who just doesn't have a defined personality because he is meant as both the hero and the person in direct distress like the protagonists of Clock Tower or Fatal Frame franchises. We are meant empathize with their fear but have a disconnect as to not fully take it as something directly.

Doubtful Nintendo knows first hand how fucking idiotic it's Zelda fan base is with timelines. This is probably a hook for BotW2 or just something to help bring in BotW characters direct. But then again Koei Tecmo are the ones mostly handling this.

All these problems with these games built to for both this and next generation platforms and some folks can't understand why Cyberpunk for delayed even after going gold.

These are actually some very nice announcements. But the stealth Direct mini format this year still sucks IMO. Yeah you risk some idiots losing their shit over disappoinment from hyping themselves up, but much like a prime time football game you get everyone's eyes on you. This stealth drop stuff feels like the impact is lessen.

Yeah it is basically bad fantasy anime, not the isekai power/harem fantasy kind but the wannabe Berserk explicit for explicit sake kind. Also it looks terrible.
