I picked up Ultimate Spider #4 yesterday. It is mostly Peter/MJ talking with Harry/Gwen and it is such a good issue. I also grabbed the third printing of Ultimate Spider-Man #2. May's note on the fridge giving Peter encouragement to keep going is so dang sweet. The new Ultimate universe has my interest with Ultimate Spider-Man, so I picked up Ultimate X-Men #1-2. Might check out Ultimate Black Panther and the Ultimate Invasion TPB. Greg Weisman is writing Spectacular Spider-Men, got the first two issues, had no spoilers on these, so I'm going in blind. Spider-Punk, Miles Morals, Ultimate Spider-Man. Every Spidey book is infinitely more fascinating than the mainline Amazing Spider-Man. I don't know the sales numbers but it wouldn't surprise me if Amazing Spider-Man is lagging behind all the other Spidey titles.

Penny's Big Breakaway is $19.97 on the eShop for anyone interested. I'm hoping this game eventually gets a physical release. Corn Kids 64 is on consoles now. Been hearing good things about this game, so I grabbed it.

I know zilch about Bastion but that scene of him in the end has me very intrigued. ----- I got my first X-Men '97 figure, 4 inch Cyclops. Sadly, there was no Storm, Nightcrawler or Magneto in Walmart . Was slim pickings but I got Rightclops for $7, so I'm happy.

I just picked up the Predator vs Wolverine trade. I'm not expecting a deep, complicated story. I just wanna see these two cut each other up.

When I heard about this, I thought it might have been a late April Fool's joke. But, nope, this is legit. I'm about it. He I want him to say "Whoa" at least once.

Deve and gamer "wants/needs" for all this super high end 4K 8K stuff is really concerning. Is it impressive? Yes. Do I need it? No, not really. Devs/pubs keep saying the cost of game making is going up yet who insists on crafting all these super high tech games that struggle to maintain consistency and end up having huge AF file sizes? To be completely honest, IDGAF about 4K in my games or TV shows.

I'm really enjoying the Mighty Marvel Masterworks line. Though smaller and lacking the letters section, these are nice way to experience the early Marvel days without paying through the nose for a ton of HCs. I went ahead and picked up Vol. 1-2 of Daredevil and the Mighty Thor. That Jack Kirby and Gene Colan artwork? John Romita did some FINE art on Daredevil. Might be a hot take, but I really like Michael Cho's artworks for these MMM TPBs. I've seen some folks gripe on Amazon that Kirby and Ditko artwork isn't on the cover, as if it's a crime to have otherwise but the art is CLEAN and it further helps to differentiate these MMM TPBs from the MM HCs. I'm almost done with MMM X-Men vol. 1. I love seeing the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants constantly tell Master Mind high key that his mutant ability is TRASH.
