  1. Your cat got some kinda vendetta with you? I recall something similar with FFXVI, was it? Once is an accident. Twice? Nah, man, that is sus AF.
  2. I guess I made some enemies in Skyrim because when I fast traveled to a village near the quest I was doing, I IMMEDIATELY got jumped. These MFs were on some crazy demon time. Like, this ish was worse than that time in Breath of the Wild where I used a campfire to pass the time, a Blood Moon goes down and when it's over, I'm sitting next to a squad of enemies looking to give me the meanest fade. Granted, it's only 3 dudes in Skyrim but... I'm a total noob. Two of them got shields and I'm still packing scrub equipment. These dudes are whaling on me like... Between Skyrim and Rayman Legends, Princess Peach: Showtime is a nice, chill game for me. Even though I somehow messed up the first cake stage. How can I save the world in other games, yet struggle with bakery stuff?
  3. Playing 4 skull difficulty ranked levels in Rayman Legends is making me feel some kinda way. In these stages, its tougher to get everything and it just irks me to pass by and see that I don't have everything in all the stages I've played thus far. I fired up Crimson Clover World Explosion. I wish this had a physical copy. Since I haven't played in a hot minute, I'm super rusty. Lost count of how many continues I used. And the game tells me to beat stage 5 without using a continiue. Look, game, I know I'm cheeks. You don't gotta rub salt.
  4. Finally saw episode 4 of X-Men '97. Fun stuff. Love all the references and Easter Eggs. In episode Roberto tells Jubilee "Video games are for nerds." Motendo was payback for that remark.
  5. I'm still mad that we lost the Splatfest to some keyboard loving MFs.
  6. Rayman Legends. After buying the Wii U version and never played it, I picked it up on Switch about two months ago and I'm making my way through the first world. Rayman Legends deserves all the praise it gets. Tons of characters to play, beautiful, challenging levels and a superb soundtrack. Like Origins before it, Legends kicks lives to the curve. I think Rayman Origins was one of the first games I played to do away with lives and considering all the times I died playing that game (what is with all the spikes, were the devs a fan of Mega Man 9?), I did not mind lives going bye-bye Picked up Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on Switch. This is my first Elder Scrolls game and I'm liking it so far. I'm tempted to steal some stuff but I worry if that may make things hard on me later.
  7. We need a new X-Men beat 'em up game. And a re-release of the Konami arcade game. ------ I finally read Chip Zdarsky's Spider-Man: Spider's Shadow mini series. Dude is one of the best writers to pen Spidey. The twists and turns he put in the story worked so well. And kudos to having someone in the story call out Eddie Brock for his stupid reasons for hating Spider-Man. Like how DARE Spider-Man catch the actual Sin Eater killer.
  8. I am so happy F-ZERO 99 is continuing to get updates. The mirror tracks are a blast. Also, I FINALLY got that 1st place W in the game!!! I got it on White Land I with the Blue Falcon, snipping 1st from a player at the last second.
  9. I legit felt bad for Maddy. Jean wasn't even mad about her taking her place while she was gone. Scott came off a whole lot better here than he did in the comics regarding Maddy and baby Nate.
  10. I noticed the wording on those using the Danger Room in X-Men '97 episode 3 is green. Maddy's powers are also color coated green. So maybe that was Maddy's powers at work screwing with Gambit. That or...
  11. I don't get why Marvel is soooo terrified of letting Peter be married and have kids. That life looks good on him in Ultimate Spider-Man.
  12. Ordered Fantastic Four Epic Collection: The Coming of Galactus. Never read this story but heard so many good things about it. Was hard to pass up at a $25 price tag. I picked up X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday. Was pretty interesting to see how America went to crap in 30 years and just how some of the X-Men were taken out.
  13. That collection of X-Men HC, TBPs and omnibuses... it's beautiful, man. My first Marvel Omnibus was Uncanny X-Men vol. 1, I still have it sealed. I've been collecting the Epic Collections to save some cash but I occasionally spring for those omnibus books when I can. I've got a couple other Marvel Omnibuses: Untold Tales of Spider-Man, Jack Kirby's Captain America run, Roger Stern's Amazing Spider-Man run and Ed Brubaker's first omni on Captain America.
  14. Holy crap. I didn't think the Krakoan era was THAT extensive.
  15. So I picked up the House of X/Powers of X TPB because it was discounted off Amazon. This is the Krakoan X-Men era, right? After reading this book, where would I go for the other X books in this era? The reading order sounds kinda confusing. I've been reading the Stan Lee/Jack Kirby OG X-Men run. Magneto is a straight up villain in these books. Scarlet Witch & Quick Silver: But what about the innocent people that will die? Magneto: I was also surprised to see Astreroid M show up this early in the X-Men history. I was for certain that was part of the Chris Clermont run, but nope, it was used as early as 1960s X-Men #5.
  16. I rewatched the first two eps of X-Men '97. I caught a lot of stuff I missed on the first viewing.
  17. The fight scenes in the first two episodes of X-Men '97 are GODLIKE. They are really putting that budget to excellent use. Cyclops is a BAMF here. There is one scene in episode 2 where Magneto shows that he is HIM and it just screams, "Behave, humans." The OG VAs are doing a superb job. Storm is as hammy as ever and I would not have it any other way. These VAs are the voices I hear when I'm reading X-Men comics.
  18. Saw the first two episodes of X-Men '97. I won't spoil anything but... DAT INTROOOOOOO!!!!
  19. I finished watching the '90s X-Men series and for the first time, I saw the final episode, Graduation Day. Bruh. My. FEELS!!!
  20. I never got to play Doom back in the day so Star Wars: Dark Forces was a real treat for me. The Remaster was not something I was expecting to see done. From what I hear, a TON of TLC went into making the Dark Forces Remaster. I'm hoping it gets a physical release on Switch. I went to check the file size for Star wars Battle Front on the eShop and that MF is a whopping 33+ GIGS!!!
